    People need to stop taking back pack leaf blowers onto roofs. If the weight shifts on your while your on the edge blowing out the gutters you could easily fall off the roof. Just use a handheld leaf blower. My echo blows 160mph and is plenty strong enough to blow the gutters out. A little slower then the backpack but a heck of a lot safer. You could always tape a screw driver to the end of it to loosen any stubborn sections in the gutter

      I 100% agree. This is honestly the only time we used a backpack blower on a roof and it was definitely way more sketchy

      No screw driver...get the fibreglass rod ...marker....duck take the end ...splinters.
      And if u about to fall ...u drop the blower.

    When you rinse after applying bleach do you run the water through the pump and hose?

    Nice! What do you use to get chemical on the roof? Downstream? Softwash system? I’m lost trying to figure out how I would do this. I ordered an xjet but not sure if that can do the job. I hear downstream won’t get you the percentage unless you have a good system set up. I’m a noob so the more info you can give me the better.

    • @luckybarnes7576

      Youll be fine witv your xjet

    • @BrantTheResidentCalvinist
      @BrantTheResidentCalvinist Год назад +1

      Xjet works ok for ground work but if you have to get on the roof it’s not a good option. Imagine carrying and bucket of bleach on a roof. It’s hard enough dealing with one hose, much less two plus a bucket of bleach.

    • @stuff_i_liked1815
      @stuff_i_liked1815 Год назад

      @@BrantTheResidentCalvinist and as far as I’ve seen house wash is pretty diluted so I can downstream that, unless it brick then it can be hotter. Flatwork I can use both, xjet if it’s really dirty but normally can get away with downstream again. Xjet if I’m running other chems like precarbonate for a deck or fence or oxalic acid mix. But mainly I can downstream right?
      Can I get away with that for roofs for now until I get some gigs and make a 12v softwash? I think it should be fine

    • @kamrynruthardt1061
      @kamrynruthardt1061 11 месяцев назад

      Yup. You should be leaving this solution up on the roof longer. Just let the rain take care of it
