@@KeepupwithCar I couldn’t say. I love them both. That being said, I’ve spent more time in St Helena (I average 4 visits a year) & I have some regular haunts there where I’m almost a regular (couple restaurants and a winery). I’ve never had a bad experience in Napa nor dealt with the so called “elitist” mentality or types that I’ve read in your comments. I will be going back to the area at the end of October, & more than likely will head back to Healdsburg.
Known David for 13 years, he is a gentleman, very glad that you were able to experience the tour with him. Also for any cigar smokers, they sell cigars at Inglenook and actually allow you to enjoy them outside.
David really made our Napa and Sonoma trip super special. And he is so funny too 😂 next time I’ll go you will see me smoking cigars in the yard ☺️ thanks for watching and commenting ♥️
I live in California and almost never go to Napa for wine tasting. In my family, Paso Robles is our preferred wine tasting destination. People from California know it but it's not well known to people who aren't from here. The wines are on par with Napa quality and it's a more quaint vibe. More affordable too. The are over 200 wineries and the west side in particular has really beautiful scenery.
I actually did pass by there but I was indeed unbeknownst to the fact it has wineries as well so I wasn’t able to ‘properly visit it’ with the time constrictions of my roadtrip. Will definitely have to go back there once and visit some wineries 😍😍😍😍 thanks for the tip 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I just got back, we did Domaine Carneros, I had the same waiter you did, I think his name was John. We did Inglenook, and Round Pond. Got lucky with reservations at French Laundry, sooooo gooooood! Love the video!
How was your experience at the wineries? Am so curious to see if you agreed with my ‘votes’ on the estates? I think my fav was Inglenook, then Domaine and then Round pond, but those were my top 3 anyways! Glad you enjoyed the video 😍😍😍♥️
You want upscale dining? What about Healdsburg in Sonoma County. Ever hear of "Single Thread." If you want to hang with a bunch of wine "elitists" and the uber wealthy corporate types then, by all means, stay in Napa. If you want a fantastic experience, including wines, then stay in Sonoma county. There is the beautiful coast (Sonoma County coast Pinot Noir), the giant redwoods, the Russian River Valley, world class wineries, and world class restaurants. Sonoma County is so much more hip than Napa which has a bunch of wealthy old people
Hi! Next time I will definitely explore sonoma more, but I had never been to Napa and so ofcourse I wanted to experience it at least one time :) thanks for your tips 😍
To add one more on Healdsburg, which btw I just visited while coming for work in the Bay Area, I would highly recommend The Matheson and their rooftop bar. Food was amazing, staff very friendly and knowledgeable along with a good mix of people and a very laid back vibe. I also finally got to visit a local winery there that has been on my radar for quite some time: Longboard Vineyards.
Do you prefer Nappa Valley or Sonoma?

@@KeepupwithCar My favorites were in order were Domaine Carneros, Duckhorn, Silver Oak, Inglenook, Opus One.
Oh cool! Will have to go back to tried the other ones I didn’t see. It’s just so hard to pick between the hundreds of wineries there 😫😫😫
What beautifully landscaped estates! WOW!
The wine made it look EVEN better 😂😃😃
