Great and inspiring video. You got me all excited to plan a road trip to California to visit these places. Hey that would be a great video idea. Road tripping winery trip 🤔🍷🥂🍇
Thank you! At long last I have watched a lot of videos planning this next trip and it’s exhausting! Thank you for your direct advice! Also, please the contact details of a driver please!
Hi there. May I suggest getting on the waiting list for “Screaming Eagle?” It is a cult wine with a very limited allocation. It takes years. Also “Hourglass"; the waitlist is maybe a year or two.
Thank you for such a fine explanation, including history, of these 3 wineries! How about focusing on high elevation wineries like Mt Veeder or Antinori Family Winery (Antica). We know the winemaker quite well and their wines are exceptional.
Good review. I live 8 mins from Domaine Chandon. There's so many great winerys in Napa and surrounding areas. you picked 3 good ones. I liked Domaine Chandon when they had their full restaurant. Wine movies: Chateau Montelena, - Bottle Shock, Clos Du Val - Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Sideways with Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church, A Good Year with Marion Cotillard (Ooh La La)
Hello, I love this video, thank you for making it. I'll be going to Napa with 6 other friends in late April. Do you have the number of a good driver in Napa?
Awesome video and suggestions! I think for Americans, we should watch the 2008 movie Bottle Shock in order to stand up to the condescending comments of the French. 👏👏👏👍❤🍷🥂
Totally! Don't get me wrong, I love French wines but sometimes France can be too French! (I'm from Argentina and we beat them on the World Cup final so they are still upset with me lol)
Hi Sebastion, I’m heading over there this weekend. Can you help me with contacts on getting in to a great restaurant for dinner and what to do and where to go? It’ll be my first time. Thanks so much for all your help.
Hi Tanya, I just saw this I’m so sorry! I really apologize. Did you made it to Napa? I’m more than happy to send you some Recomm if you go this summer!
Hi Sebastian. Great video. We loved the stories! We’ll be heading to CA last week of June into July. Napa around the 1st. Do you have any other drivers to recommend if Emily is already booked? Also, what’s the weather usually like early summer?
It depends what do you like. Are you into cars? art? Fancy stuff or something historical?... but overall. I love to visit Hanzell (they have lots of animals), Hudson (lovely art!) and Flowers!!
The JCB tasting room in Yountville is a complete joke if your goal is to taste wines in their purest and unaffected form. The perfume wafting around this tasting room, completely destroyed the experience . We had no way of separating the wines from the outrageous smells coming from their perfume. Complete and utter fail. There are so many other great tasting experiences you could have chosen.
I get what you mean and I agree with you completely. They have a small place also in San Francisco, inside the Ritz-Carlton hotel and the perfume is felt from the outside... but let's say you are not a wine freak, you just want to take someone on a date or something and tasting wine is the secondary thing... you can still have fun, if you enjoy that kind of lavish/over the top experience. Still, worth the recommendation from my POV
Thanks for the great video. I recently visited Inglenook and heard all the amazing history you outlined. You now have me interested in visiting the other two. I am a member at Castello di Amorosa but always looking to visit other wineries. I live in Livermore, CA which is another wine region not as well known as Napa and Sonoma. Cheers 🥂
New subscriber from Rhode Island might be going to Napa for our honeymoon I was wondering if you can give me some of your Contacts for a driver thank you hope all is well
Another Great episode! Favorite wine movie - “A Good Year” with Russell Crowe
Hi Dave! Thanks for watching brother.... I love that movie but I heard he’s very difficult to work with 😂

@@TopWineList Also, Koerner Rombauer of Rombauer Vineyards and Jim Barrett of Chateau Montelena Winery. All legends of the business.
