Hi Jason. Does the Stop & Record on the Crane 4 works with FX6? How about attaching Crane 4 to Tilta Hydra Alien car mounting? is it safe enough? I am planning to use it for a car shoot with Mastereye V100 Thanks Jason
Awesome video man, I assume when you use the Crane 3s and the FX6 you use it with the extension arm? And if so do you just never pack it away then? Because I've found that the extension arm is such a pain to rig up all the time that I know if I have a a few shoots coming up where I will be putting my FX6 on a gimbal, I will leave the Crane up in an awkward place in my house which can get annoying 😂
The Feiyutech Scorp Pro was really hard to adjust the axis for balancing because of exactly what you were saying: Metal on metal. The Crane 3S is the easiest to make the adjustment.

Ive heard this crane 4 are plagued with issues, heaps of people on reddit and youtube comments saying theres broken within weeks or use, battery faillures etc
Firstly great review. You were fair. and probably as clear about the features as you could be. As a Crane 3s Rs2, RS3 pro owner with literally every accessory released for both Gimbal lineups in the past 2 years I'm a little worried about the many things you didn't say. (again, you can't know everything) But these days specs are one thing. Eco system is everything. Those 14lb Chinese super motors are great and all. But is this a Tool or a toy? Difference being: how well it integrates with the rest of my kit. If I have to buy even one new thing that I already have in my kit this is a Toy and thus a hard no.

How is your experience with the Crane 3s... I know you have to use a Vest Support System..
I use the Canon R5C rigged with similar specs as you need, using the Zhiyun Crane 3 S Pro and Digitalfoto Thanos Pro II. Just ensure you set the motor strength to the correct level (if you experience unexpected gimbal shake then try turning the motors down not up, this is designed for heavy rigs and actually doesn’t need full power for R5C). Not had any issues so far

I really hope that someday there will be something for a bigger cameras but not in this stupid one handed form factor. Who the fuck uses heavy setup with sling configuration, it’s so painful to use. There is no middle option between rs3 pro and ronin 2. Rs3 pro is still the best, but have some limitations for a bigger cameras. At least you can use it with dedicated ring grip.

Yeah I never pack it away. The Crane 3s stays as is only for my FX6
