Shippers are not going to expand into shipping their own loads ever. If this was profitable and manageable for them, they would have done it a long time ago. Of course! Trucking has been turning my stomach for 3 1/2 decades now 😂 I will continue to disagree with you. Rejections just means they are getting crappy rates which is not good for the industry.
Is it possible for shippers, brokers, to lie about what rates REALLY are? Surely this *most honest industry *, next to pharmaceutical wouldn't ever doctor the books😅.
Quick question, I generally have always negotiated and sometimes you know you'll get I'll get 50 bucks more on a great day maybe a hundred bucks I will say that it's been easier now. Generally now I'm squeezing them if I get an extra 50 bucks. How much are you see on your negotiations?
You guys should know your rate per miles both empty and loaded and combine them both and work out the numbers and start your negotiations at that price. It may sound like a ridiculous asking price at times, but often times, The Broker actually has more than that amount on the table, and if not on that particular load, he or she, has already swallowed it from a previous load. They make bank, off the backs of truckers and some of them, are not ashamed of it either.😮

Dream on beautiful trucking is all down hill all expence no profits government has just regulated the industry into the ground with help large carriers. LTL off railroad hubs is only future I see that would be remotely profitable.
You can’t fix trucking with some sort of strike, too many immigrants who will work for nothing because they came from less than nothing. It seems to me people come here and get a cdl and miraculously get a loan for a truck and will run that truck to death and be happy. Trucking is fast becoming a job Americans won’t do!
IF Trump opens up the US oilfields up to full capacity and IF American oil producers decide that oil prices could jump due to middle east terrorist and a collapse in Russian production, a lot of trucks will leave the general freight market and head out to haul sand, water and oil/gas finished products. Biden's slowdown of the oil fields has driven a bunch of those trucks into general freight. That could be a big capacity shift in general freight. Enough to flip the market as long as the economy holds up. The other big question mark: how long will China remain a viable manufacturing center? Their economy is in huge trouble. If they collapse we'll need a big domestic building boom to replace the sources of stuff lost when China goes all Mad Max. And yes, it's "when", not "if" China goes spectacularly screwed up. Final wildcard: does China try and eat Taiwan to stave off collapse? Now we've got a global depression 'cuz not enough serious chips...
@richtrujillo-hl8bo Thing is, *it won't*. China will utterly collapse if the whole planet's economy hits a depression. Which is guaranteed if we have a five year shortage in serious chips. It's gonna suck for everybody from America to Zimbabwe, China definitely included. Which is also why, if China tries to float over to Taiwan, they're going to be hit with an amazing collection of long range anti ship missiles. And if they do manage to land on Taiwan, well, if Taiwan is smart they're building an absolutely ridiculous collection of drones that would give Zelenskii a fatal hard-on :). In case you're not aware: the main chip fabs are in Taiwan but most of the tech *and technicians* are from Europe and America. *The chip making machines can be remotely disabled.* And the moment it looks like China is about to get froggy, all those ex-pat techs keeping it running will boogie on out of there, because they'll be needed once the new fabs start in the US and Europe in five or so years. And they're not going to want to end up in Chinese prison camps trying (and failing) to make chips under armed guards lacking offshore tech and materials. In other words, even if this goes 100% China's way, even if the US totally rolls over, it's all fucked. That's why the US will stop them.
Somewhat confused if we are at an all-time high for oil production in the United States at this very moment, how is it been slowed and how do you think that pumping more oil out of the ground when you have no refinery capacity to do anything with it is going to help. Simplistic approach to a much more complex problem that started with a negotiation with OPEC from Trump during the Covid pandemic to slow production because people weren’t driving and is now hammering the hell out of the United States oil market. Unfortunately, China has a bigger global impact on export goods globally than we do and also controls many of the natural resources needed to bolster. Mega manufacturing in the United States. Tariffs will only exacerbate this issue, and we are going to go into a global depression, which will not help.
This current market condition is STILL AFFORDABLE FOR MOST TRUCKING COMPANY, untill markets not fall twice more from NOW it is impossible to clear capacity enough. We need second bottom I feel that its hard time right now but looks like we need a little harder
want happen anytime soon, til federal dot in wash dc has changes and new employees with a reverse gear, trucking will crash. Owners of med large truck companies R learning a hard life lesson.
Just don’t be scared offering 5$ a mile because if something not going go like they said it okey you make your money and remember broker want you putt your money to move they loads and then they paying you so batter get 2 load by 2500 $ then 5 by 1000
Here’s the question we need to be asking ourselves. What is the coming catalyst in the market that’s gonna make everything all better? Is the housing market going to catch fire again? The Fed said last week that they are not as optimistic about cutting rates as aggressively as they were before. Is the car market about to catch fire again? Cars are still expensive as hell. I tried to buy one this weekend and I was literally $15,000 from buying that car! The car market feels frozen to me. Eventually these markets are going to have to pop but I don’t know what it’s going to take and I sure don’t see trucking turning a corner without at least one of those two markets coming to life. But I could be wrong

I quit hauling brokered loads. If everybody did as I do this would not be happening and we would downsize. The broker's back to twelve as it was in 1980 what we need is the ability for a carrier to give a carrier a load give brokers some competition
I guess carriers net is not a good indicator.

What advice would you give to someone looking to generate profits through financial investment during economic uncertainty, and are there any resources you do recommend
As a beginner, having a mentor is crucial for accountability and guidance. My CFA Shirley Mae Crisler is a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market
Please educate me. I've come across this name before. Now I am interested. How can I reach her?
Crypto and NFTs are driving a revolutionary shift in the world economy and financial markets, sparking optimism among investors who are earning consistent returns, while others observe from the sidelines
This is correct, Shirley strategy has normalized winning trades for me also, and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started..

when old carriers leave then there are just the same amount of new carriers coming in , trucking will never change for the good tis the reason why im glad i left it
A day before Christmas in Texas, they're still offering joker rates. I'm staying home and enjoying family, let the clueless haul it.
Give quoting 5-6$ a mile it okey 500 mile dryvan 2400$

Great question- the average I am seeing is $200.
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful I need to start negotiating harder. Thank you for the input
Oh Merry Christmas to you and yours as well
@@TruckingMadeSuccessfulagreed at that average maybe a bit more if you have good history w. broker
They make bank, off the backs of truckers and some of them, are not ashamed of it either.😮
i work for mega carrier , since 2023 our average price 1. 70 after their 35% cut and we pay for everything i think you might have guess which company , you can tell it from far.🤣🤣🤣🤣. and we are contract carrier. yup i am dry vannner.

As a newbie investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market..
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $200k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
people who panic.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analysing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted on thorough research and years of practical experience.
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??
To me, the spot market has actually gotten WORSE than EVER!!! VERY competitive and IDIOTS taking loads for 1.40 a mi. I live in Phoenix and havn't been there in TWO YEARS because I refuse to take a load for 1.3 a mi!!
Probably they figured how fuel efficient is their equipment…so they can afford those money for fuel only😂😂😂😂😂
@@DieselTrucker2018 I've hauled flatbed back outta Phoenix for over 8 years average rate around $2.70 on multi stop loads to Texas, there are places that pay real rates but yeah $1.30 all day on the load board.

Just think deferents you will spend your money witch you already pay taxes so if you spend your money 500$ you should generate 1000 of clean income if you will not do that you not make any money because from 1500$ you will lose 12 % - diesel and taxes 30% and truck maintenance 100$ so 500 mile is cost 1600- 1800$ if you will take less you work for free
There is double the clowns flooding the industry compared to the amount of carriers closing doors... good luck competing with flip floppers that haul these loads for $22 and a half eaten sandwich. If you bid $15 and just the crust, even better.... trucking is dead😂🎉
I hate to say it but the future of trucking is dead. Looks like we are heading into civil war.
Four akxe 25 foot trails 300 miles max a day round trips or vans final miles pay more.
Dream on beautiful trucking is all down hill all expence no profits government has just regulated the industry into the ground with help large carriers. LTL off railroad hubs is only future I see that would be remotely profitable.
Remember....the "adults" were in charge the last couple years 😂🎉
Remember… the adults were in charge of their own business.
Merry Christmas early!

Now we've got a global depression 'cuz not enough serious chips...
i do believe that will happen taking Taiwan in order to save there economy 💯
Then .... Why are drivers still making about half of what they made in 2018?
This current market condition is STILL AFFORDABLE FOR MOST TRUCKING COMPANY, untill markets not fall twice more from NOW it is impossible to clear capacity enough.
We need second bottom
I feel that its hard time right now but looks like we need a little harder

want happen anytime soon, til federal dot in wash dc has changes and new employees with a reverse gear, trucking will crash. Owners of med large truck companies R learning a hard life lesson.
Just don’t be scared offering 5$ a mile because if something not going go like they said it okey you make your money and remember broker want you putt your money to move they loads and then they paying you so batter get 2 load by 2500 $ then 5 by 1000
2027 trucking will get back on track too many foreigners who know nothing about our trucking industry good luck out there
Next year will be worse in 2026 is crazy uplift coming
But I could be wrong

i wish maranda is a trump supporter.
I always watch all the videos that u make and I really appreciate what you do
But I really think we need someone like you with a lot of followers or like muthatrucker to bring us together for a strike
I think you should make a video that to ask the drivers to become together and set a day for a strike and see what their respond to that maybe you should ask them if we can get atl east 100,000 drivers to agree then we can set a date to do this
And if that happens
we should ask for a lot better rates wherever we go in the country we don't wanna deal with going to Florida with ok money and coming out of losing
Rates should be all close to each other wherever you go in the country
And 2nd thing we should ask about is dropping the fuel prices
Enough is enough
It only took 2 or 3 days for the ports employees to strike and they got what they want
Could you imagine what can we do if we strike
And I don't care who's the money coming out of if it's the broker or the customer I don't care
I really believe people who got followers like you could make a difference
I've been 22 years in this business and I've never seen anything like the last 2 years
I really think you should make that video and ask drivers if they're willing to do it or not
it doesn't hurt to ask or try
Thank you very much
Driver, I appreciate your view on low rates and getting all the truckers to come together and strike. I’ve been in trucking for 22/years and the only time I’ve seen them strike was in the case of New York City for President Trump. These guys are more concerned with making money to put on the table then trying to get better rates to make the mega carrier rich that they work for. OIDA is a Far Left leaning organization that only supports the Democrats, they only care about you when it comes time to collect your dues. With all the new drivers I just don’t see them coming together to help anyone except themselves, and they don’t seem to understand how a strike will benefit them. Sorry, I just don’t see it happening.
I agree but we have to try some how driver
and 20 % of those carreirs are DB so in reality they just around 10k carriers
