The Witcher 3 was LITERALLY a world that you get immersed and lost in. The music, the atmosphere, the characters, the natural play of events and side content. Sometiems I forgot I was playing a video game. W3 will always have a special place in my heart.
I'm telling you - Nature is the greatest therapist. Move outside - places like this exist. Use headphones while listening to such music and explore nature.

Unfortunately nature like this doesn't exist anywhere near me. I'd have to move 1000 miles to get there and obviously wouldn't be able to stay long.

i swear bro same here been a bit depressed hanging in there but this game relaxes me & gives me that feeling that everything will be okay haha
During covid lockdown I read all withcher books and then played all the games. It took me a year, and it was amazing. I didn't care I can't go anywhere at all

There is something about this game i cannot explain geralt stars his journey alone without anyone's help for his search for ciri and this journey is not about finding ciri but also about geralt finding himself amongst all the chaos over the lands throughout his journey his search for ciri was just a temporary objective but the whole picture was bigger than that..there were ups and downs many life experiences we and as geralt got to experience such a great story

I wish I could play this game for the first time again. Especially the Priscilla singing Wolven Storm scene. I cannot put into words the emotions I am feeling right now.
Getting lost in a beautiful fantasy world with otherworldly music... yeah that's the best therapy right there.
And then a werewolf ambushes you out of nowhere
Being able to fend off a werewolf, at least in videogame, is sorts of therapy by itself.
my Favourite map in the whole game. The environment, the ambience, the Quests all are top notch.

for me personally this and rdr2 are my go to for stress relief but in a way video games are a great escape from the brutal reality

Skellige is by far my favorite place to just roam around and so much of it is how perfectly the music compliments the terrain to create a beautiful atmosphere.
I actually played The Witcher 3 through a very tough time. Can approve that it helps better than therapy.
The music in the Witcher 3 is just something else, which i cannot describe.
What’s why you just play in the best game about story and atmosphere and musical accompaniment, and graphics ever for the whole last nine years! I can understand you. If i can, i would be playing in the “Witcher 3”, walking on the outside, maybe park, nearby river and in the forest, training my mind and body, eat healthy and tasty food and bring to this world something special, useful and beautiful! I don’t know if it’s the beautiful sights and sounds, the music or Geralt as a character himself but this is probably the only game I have played within the last 9 years that has been able to soothe my anxiety and escape the hole of depression when I play it.
Everything was fine until 0:24, then it connected to RGB.
Gerald and Roach riding through the fields of Elysium.
One of my favorite moments in this game, I had Geralt in one of the sailing boats just going from one island in Skellige to another and this song was playing in the background. And you know what? It was one of the most peaceful moments in the game that I had and still one of my favorite times playing the game as well.

Witcher 3s soundtrack really is therapeutic. Farewell old friend is a song im always going back to. Actually kinda ironic this showed up in my feed. Shortly after witcher 3 came out my dog died which sparked my love for the soundtrack, more particularly farewell old friend. Just buried another dog, and now here we are several yrs later. Full circle lol

when I read Eragon by Paolini I liked it how you say here. Therapy or German mountains is all cheese. A very long walk in wild and a glass of water after that, is the simplest way. Urban, rural anything. And digital vacation for 3 days every few months.
I always say that the witcher 3 world is a place i escape in it from life pressure and proplems..it is bring me relief like no other thing..i think that me and everyone played this game and dived in it's world ,will always be thankful for this masterpiece ..Best game ever 🖤

CDPR knows Witcher, it’s going to put everything else to shame imo, and probably be the standard bearer for a while once it releases, along with GTA VI to a lesser degree.

Playing Ghost of Tsushima, although music is not nearly as good as this GOAT, the treversal in the game with the scenery does remind of Witcher 3. Now I wanna play it again.

That exact area is my favorite place in the game coupled with the Ard Skellig OST. Maybe I'm biased cause I also live in an archipelagic nation. 😂

Es war traumhaft, ab und zu mal nen schönen joint dabei und einfach nur die Welt des Hexers erkunden.die Musik kombiniert mit den fantastischen Landschaften ließ mich die Zeit so wunderbar vergessen.
Ich hoffe, ich finde irgendwann nochmal die Zeit und die Ruhe, um das alles noch ein weiteres Mal zu genießen ❤

I view gaming as a form of meditation. It gets your mind "outta here" for a certain period of time. It's cheaper than drugs or therapy, and probably more beneficial truthfully.

Videogames are a whole medium or art and story-telling in ways on par with books and movies and nobody should tell you otherwise.
Part of it looks good but i HATE THE BRIGHT COLOURS ! once you got to the flora and the grass and flowers it was to bright. it sucks thats the main gimic to try and make games look better is just reflections..... but really we need legit better graphics but with the same colour consistency of something like Zelda Ocarina of Time..... you play that game and you dont get no stupid blinding light in your eyes you get a legit solid game. i hope devs follow that!

Videogames don't substitute good therapy. Therapy that is good can help for the rest of your life. A game doesn't.
