My husband would really enjoy these places. He's a big b-b-q fan. We use to go to Frank's in Tulsa. I don't think it's around anymore.

I grew up in Tulsa and always liked Oklahoma Style Barbecue on north Harvard. Stutt's House of Bbq is decent as well. I used to really like Elmer's, but it seemed like the quality went down a little and the price went up. There is a new one called Knotty Pig that I want to check out next time I visit.

If you do this again then you need to try Knotty Pig. My family and I swear by it. My dad loves their cowboy beans which are beans that have brown sugar and ham in it. You get a dinner and share it because the proportions are big or you can get a sandwich. They put the BBQ sauce in a cup on the side and have like 2 or 3 different bottles of BBQ sauce at each table. The sides are amazing. I always get the fried okra but my parents like the fries and onion rings. My mom also likes the coleslaw. They also have different kinds of burgers as well as different kinds of chili.

Those beans sound awesome! We'll definitely put Knotty Pig on our list! Thanks!

Albert G's is a good place. There's also a place in Sperry I think is named Buffalo that is very good.
