Im all for cats and i have like 9 of them along with 2 corsos but gosh I’ve had enough of it every time they climb up to my truck they leave their claw marks since they slip trying to get on or when they slide off take into consideration they ruined my brand new paint job i had never felt like giving away one of my animals before🤦♂️
Nice video. Wondering, what's the proportion/ratio of water/lavender mix in that spray bottle? Essential oils are very strong, and i hope just few drops in maybe 0.5l of water, or no? I have "cat problem" too, they go under hood all the time. I tried some cat & dog repeller (some citrus sence), bought in the market, but no help. Tried also with cheap "ultrasonic" repeller from aliexpress, no success. I read the mothballs is good, too. I'd like to try this lavender mix, sounds good to me and safe for car paint :) Regards from Serbia!
Hi my friend and thank you for watching, liking, subscribing, and sharing. I used a few pieces of fresh lavender from my garden, so I think try maybe 5 drops in 250ml of water and see. You can always increase the concentration if it is not strong enough. I talk about this in my most recent video which is a season1 review and update. I hope you check it out. Please let me know how it works. Cheers
@@rickscarandbike4834 Hi Rick, i forgot something - how many times did you repeat whole proccess (spraying the lavender mix)? OK, in this video you did it once, next few days you're checking the pawprints. After few days, repeat again with spraying?
See my season 2 opening video where I review how to solve a long term cat issue. But yes the lavender needs to be reapplied. Thanks for watching, liking, and subscribing! Cheers
At least your cat is not spraying his juice ( the spray they mark their scent with)...on your car like the feral cats in my neighborhood are...which is eating though paint...I've tried everything every kind of repellant and nothing has worked... and I'm not spraying anything ON MY CAR....
That sounds awful. Perhaps contact a local rescue that will trap the cats and work to get them adopted. My daughter has a rescue and does that to help get the cats off the street. Of course check with neighbors to make sure it is not one of their cats. I feel your pain. Cheers
I am going through the same problem now and the cat is scratching my car real bad. I’m actually thinking about killing the cat, but I don’t wanna go to jail.
Hi well, try these steps and see. Cutting the cats nails can also help. If you have a water hose around, try to catch it up there and spray it. A spray bottle works great in the house. It took 4 times spraying my cat when I caught her scratching my couch for her to stop. Let me know how it goes in the comments. Good luck!
@@nunusmith3320 That's tough. If you know who they are you could try talking to them, but if they are not reasonable people, then at least you tried. And it's tough to go ninja and wait for the cat to show up and blast it with water. If this cat is scratching a few cars maybe you could talk to the owner together? I hope some of the essential oils can help, so it doesn't come to that.
Thanks! Cats can leave such dirty paw marks and they keep coming back. I'll try this!
Awesome! Thanks for liking, watching, and subscribing!
Thanks for the tips. I have alley cats that climb my f150. They climb to the top of the cab then slide down on my windshield.
Thanks for watching and commenting. It's frustrating to find those dirty paw marks on a clean vehicle. Cheers
I'd be happy with paw prints , my bonnet was scratched to hell from their claws ! Cost me a £300 respray .
@@James-wp3jq sounds awful. Hope you can find out who that cat belongs to and have a chat. Cheers

Paws for thought, dude!

Is spraying lavander on the windshield safe for the car?
It hasn't caused a problem for mine. And hopefully after the cats smells it a few times they will move on. Cheers
