I think your just jumping on the Samsung hate train, because you heard other youtubers says so. When in actuallity it's not bloatware like it was with TouchWiz. Samsung proprietary apps like the gallery, messages, calendar, galaxy store, calculator, camera and others are all really well made apps and run and look better on Samsung phones compared to the Google equivalent. TouchWiz had "bloatware", OneUi doesn't and have very usable apps.
I traded in my Pixel 5 (only because of Google's current great trade in promotion for the 7). I've had the Pixel 7 for about a week and it's really really good in every department. No fingerprint issues that was reported with the 6. However, it's still too large for my small hands (i thought I would get used to it). I regretted trading in the 5. So I swapped it with the S22 (I got it on Sale, same price as the Pixel 7), which is the same comfortable size as the Pixel 5 and a bit better performing. In terms of Camera and Performance you can't go wrong with either the Pixel 7 or S22. The UI is easy to navigate between the two (heck I like that I no longer have the blasted search bar on the Samsung). As others have said, the ONLY issue of the S22 is the battery life (i'm hoping S23 keeps the same size but increased battery life). With my use (music, text, and some Social Media) I can make it through the day without issues; however, battery drain is noticeably quicker compared to the Pixel 5 or 7. Also, SAMSUNG has a ton of bloatware that you can't uninstall (only disable). Other than that, I do not regret my decision.

3rd party players are usually best anyway. But Pixel comes with YT music player of course. Which works pretty great. I did like the Galaxy music player last time I had a Samsung... But yeah I usually end up with a 3rd party program.
The on-screen fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 7 is not good. It misses 80% of the time. Also the 5G signal strength is worse than my S21. Battery life is very good though compared to the S21.

Switched from s10e to Pixel 7 few days ago, and user experience on pure android is pure nightmare. It takes 2-3 clicks more on pixel to do the same thing I've been doing on samsung. Ican't group my apps into folders on my app screen, they just randomly placed there like on iphone. I can't get full amoled theme, everything is grey despite having amoled screen. Stock file manager and gallery apps suck ass and I can't side load samsung ones because pixel 7 doesen't support 32bit apps anymore. Using pixel feels more like using iphone rather than fellow android. It's large and slippery and it's screen is not as bright and colours are washed out in comparison to samsung. Sound quality sucks as well. Pixel feels like a major disappointment after using samsungs for a while. I'll be buying s22 no metter how much it's battery sucks.

The fact the pixel is not connected to the wifi makes a huge difference opening any app because how apps connect to the Internet and even this doesn't give a proper fair balance because software may be bias even though it is not written that way so because apps are written this way but again they didnt write the software on PURPOSE for Samsung or Google individually.
my thoughts are im slightly irritated that sammy has done away with SD when there was no technical need... other than they wanted to make money selling the higher capacity device... seemingly... therefore I am less incline to pay their premium price and likely to look for a cheaper yet comparable device with similar features... like pixel7... instead..
lol p7 won the software loading... but ok. Like all phone are gonna open apps almost immediately, so like, a split second is kinda all you can expect in difference, that little lag adds up
I’m looking to switch from the iPhone. Heard mixed things about both the Galaxy and pixel 7. Had the 7 for a day and didn’t like the stuttering when in chrome. Apparently this is normal for android phones? I trust the Galaxy hardware better for some reason after hearing the pixel 6 issues
Samsung multitasking is much better. Pop-up-view doesn't exist on pixel. Samsung has also better split screen, floating windows, transparency. Not to mention edge screen, goodlock etc
Thinking about selling my Pixel 7 again and getting the s22+ because of the better camera software. That overcooked HDR and sharpening of the Pixel makes me furious because i love everything else about the P7. I compared it to the S21 Ultra of a friend and the samsung looks so much more natural

@@bady1175 I'm on an S22 plus, AR zone can't be removed but the other 2 can among many others.
It's nice that Pixel 7 and pro is here. But i wonder why they still don't use flexible oled display so they can make symmetrical bezels on the screen which is more appealing in my opinion.
low cost
@@kushaldesai7895 yeah in my opinion I'd rather save a buck than have uniform bezels

Exactly... Too bad battery
Just buy S22+

Good videos but mate.. you need to sort out the white balance on all your videos. This one and the past ones. They're always overblown with brightness. Not great for the viewers. Tone it down.
Thank you for the review. However, I think you should focus on more valid details in the future. The review was a little bit too much on the surface ;)
Bought the Google pixel 7 the first day it came out . Didn't like the camera quality I traded it in for the s22 I like the s22 way more.
Shame on you 😂👎
@@sbsdramaaisa7696 Did you pay for him?
@@sbsdramaaisa7696 mad kid
Reviewer clearly has no idea about cameras. Pixel 7 is in the top of it's range for camera quality performance.
@@monkeytwizzle No it isn't.
I'm a Samsung user because it has hands down the best simple music player (one that plays local files). Pixels, i phones are supposed to be great but don't even have a music player?
3rd party players are usually best anyway. But Pixel comes with YT music player of course. Which works pretty great. I did like the Galaxy music player last time I had a Samsung... But yeah I usually end up with a 3rd party program.
@@d-rockanomaly9243 galaxy music has been simple and the best for me
The on-screen fingerprint scanner on the Pixel 7 is not good. It misses 80% of the time. Also the 5G signal strength is worse than my S21. Battery life is very good though compared to the S21.
My mind says Samsung but Pixel is love 😶
I've had the s22 for 2 days now and then battery life is the worst lol.
Everything about the phone is awesome. I came from the s20 FE and I can't believe how bad the battery is on the s22. I've done everything possible to conserve the battery and it still sucks lol.
I'm only keeping the phone cause of the size 😄
Battery is usually bad within the first week or so. Same happened with my pixel 6 but after a few weeks it got a lot better.
The battery improves after a while of actual usage
@@potato.cabbage98 This thing applies to every phone except the S22. The battery is shit at the beginning and still is after.
@@kaams224 Just bought a pixel 7 and sold my s22 cause of the battery life. Its so shit it's unbelievable, worst battery I've ever used.
S22 battery is a shame. That's the only thing that destroys my experience with it.
For the photo what is your advice between Samsung s21 ultra or Google pixel 7 please ?
bought the s22 today for close to $215. upgrading from an iphone xr and the last android phone i had was the galaxy s6 so this is going to be the first android phone in a while
I have the note 10 plus in the Pixel 7 but I have a couple days to decide whether or not I'm going to keep it. Do you think I should just keep my note 10? Plus is the pixel 7? Any real difference? I haven't really had a lot of time to play with it cuz of work to really do serious comparisons
@@KoalaBeer. I've switched to s23 and I'm very happy.
However, when I were switching from pixel it turned out that there was something good about it as well
Despite having terrible UX/UI, interface felt snappier on pixel. And pixel's haptics are really addictive. But other than that, samsungs is miles ahead.
I'm not even talking bout samsung eco system, and how much faster it charges.
Amoled is just something else. Solid as kcuf
On my opinion Samsung s22 has a better design. It looks clean and professional. Real flagship. Pixel 7 - hello from past.
Pixel 7 faster: no big issue....s22 faster: oh, faster! Camera: pixel 7 just so much better - just crop in. Forget about nonsense camers features. Maybe optical zoom sometimes little advantage over 2x digital pixel 7, but i dought it for everyday/ night use. Overall both good. But keep in mind, pixel from google, so defenitely better raw updates.
3:37 is that phone alive? It moves on its own!
So what should I pick up the samsung s22 or the pixel 7 ?
Please help me choose 🙏 😊
Pixel 7 with eyes closed
This video seems more favoured towards the S22. I think the pixel beat it in many places. Seems not a fair review
my thoughts are im slightly irritated that sammy has done away with SD when there was no technical need... other than they wanted to make money selling the higher capacity device... seemingly... therefore I am less incline to pay their premium price and likely to look for a cheaper yet comparable device with similar features... like pixel7... instead..
lol p7 won the software loading...
Ive had phones from Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus and they all went back because of the scroll stutter. Android Auto is also buggy as hell
@@Altoseb this is what puts me off :(
Samsung multitasking is much better.
Did you do?
Hi, tomorrow am gonna buy a phone, but idk which is better. I have a choice between S22 or pixel 7 pro. Which phone would you recommend me to buy?
Which one did you go for?
I use my phone for calls(4-5hours max), little texting,youtube(3-4hours max) and ordering food/booking a cab. Can S22 survive thus for a day ??
How is S22?
How do you say "I think this phone is slightly thinner" when you can just Google search the physical specifications. Tech journalism really has gone downhill
I like my S22 but the battery SUCKS
If it really sucks. Use 60hz it improves your battery much
@@bady1175 thanks! Switching now haha

My s22 plus just arrived an hour ago and I prefer it over the note 20 ultra's curved screen.
I'd pick Pixel 7 with eyes closed
I completely disagree on the pre,I'm feel. I think both phones are great but the Pixel Def feels like a higher quality phone overall.
Dxomark camera 2023 hierarchy blows all samsung products out of the water.
I don't like Samsung because in all these years that have passed since the establishment of Samsung, they still could not or did not want to make a battery with a suitable lifespan and without risk for their mobile phones. Most of the previous Samsung series do not support new updates. These two very big problems are a good reason for me not to use this mobile phone. Samsung also has good features, but battery life is very important so that I can enjoy and use those features enough.
As I use it often to work and game DeX is what is makes me buy samsungs, you would think other brands would have their versions by now
Hello, which one has better displacement?
S22
I have an old pixel 4a and just got the s22. I ran a speed test between the two and my old 4a beat the galaxy almost every time. I was quite shocked. Even the photos on the 4a are better...especially in low light. S22 is a good phone but can't even compete against an old base model pixel which is quite pathetic for the price difference.
When I look at the back of a Pixel 7 I can't help to think of the show Futurama. 😂
pixel is better
Simple alpaca have you done a s21 fe vs pixel 7 comparison?

Pixel 7 looks very cheap budget phone next to the S22.
samsung s22 for 650$ or pixel 7 for 800$

ok what about in 6 months when used pixels are cheaper?
Personally I choose Samsung. It can do everything pixel can do plus more. Plus, it seems like every version of pixel has some bug
Can Samsungs do call screening? No. Call screening is an extremely useful feature.
@@TiredMikee you can dowload a app for that
Is the pixels fingerprint better than samsungs? My problem with my s21 is the battery is terrible and i have to reset my unlock tools ever other week
I tried both. At first, the Pixel's sensor was terrible, but after 1-2 days, the problems were gone!
With S22, I had no problems at all. Just prefer it because of its size.
@@Widar667 I end up getting the new pixel and this phone is better in every way than the s21 but from what I hear the s22 is the best new phone rn
never notice how big the bezels are at the bottom of the pixel 7 compare to the s22.
Iphone had bigger bezels
Theyre both better than any apple phone nether the less
Hello Bro....Samsung S22 and Google Pixel 7 which phone is better?
5:00 "now I'm not connected to the wifi here on the pixel 7"... Well then connect it! Show some effort
Why have you got weird gap on app screen?
If the pixel 7 has no chin like pixel 5a this phone would've looked more premium than the s22 but that chin makes it look mid range, its the best value device but the chin ruins the experience consdering the pixel 5a got rid of the chin
I miss LG 😭
Same same. Ever LG left I've been switching back and forth between Pixel, Samsung and Motorola and still don't know what I want.
I wonder which does better with astrophotography since expert raw supports it on the s22 line now.
