The big differences between Starkiller and Cal is their training. Cal was very much trained as a Jedi, restraint when applicable, discipline in combat, etc.. But Galen Marek (Starkiller) was basically taught to just be a hand grenade. Go in, hold nothing back and just explode, collateral damage be damned. In the novels for the games, Starkiller nearly ripped himself apart with his own force abilities because he just didn't regulate them ever. He literally gets betrayed by the only master he's ever known and has his not-friends executed. While stronger than average, Kota clearly states that size and distance mean nothing to a Jedi. Cal would get bodied by Starkiller, no chance at all. Starkiller’s midichlorian count is estimated to be second to only Darth Vader, but Starkiller was significantly stronger with the force than Vader due to his training and brutal upbringing. Estimates put it at almost, if not double Cal’s. Starkiller had accomplished all of his feats by roughly 17-20 years old due to his death, which is the same age range when Cal’s story began in Fallen Order. Between force potential/abilities, training, and mastery of the blade (especially given their respective ages), Starkiller stomps Cal 100 times out of 100.
@@PaganMin671 yeah def wouldn't matter, remember there's 3 versions of starkiller (technically 4) the og starkiller was able to pull down a star destroyer and he is stronger than the starkiller we see in the first games dlc, the starkiller we see in the first games dlc fought legends version of Luke Skywalker, legends luke held a literal black hole, the clone of starkiller had even greater force abilities and was way stronger, then we have the most powerful starkiller the 4th one who was never shown except for in the bad ending of force unleashed 2 where he kills the clone of starkiller(the one you play as) in one shot and one shots Jedi master Rahm Kota and serves his master, Darth vader. Starkiller is whole other breed of OP
@@PaganMin671 I’m not immediately taking sides here, I’m just stating the facts. The Forces Unleashed games focused on a character with almost comparable potential and abilities to Vader, but with a roll reversal for most of it. A freak of nature in terms of potential and true abilities, but starting as a Sith apprentice and becomes a debatable “Gray Jedi”. Cal’s story is of a gifted, but not exceptional, Jedi who grows and helps others using his connections rather than raw abilities and strength. Each have their own merits as characters, with Cal being the arguably better character due to him not being OP by nature. But in a fight, it’s a clear one sided massacre.
Ngl Cal is easily my second favourite star wars character right behind Anakin, Cal just got some top tier character development on this game so it's hard to not putt him on top 5 at least, my only issue with Starkiller is that he's so stupidly broken that it's ridiculous for me
Starkiller is more a power fantasy to me, which I like, but Cal is an actual fleshed out character as a opposed to Starkiller/Galen. Throughout the Cal games we as the player are exposed to Cal's various fears and the trauma that comes with it. Not to say Starkiller doesn't have any depth, but it's not by much from what I've see. I preferably prefer characters with more depth as opposed to power fantasy (though they are incredibly addictive) so I'd say I like Cal more. Though in a fight Starkiller mops the floor with Cal.
@@TheVIITV I have played the game and I know he has some character depth, like I said in my passage before. I just think Cal has a lot more depth than Starkiller.
@@lightknight6749 I get it. I believe they added more emotional depth and sentimental value to cal and his story, even gave him a pet droid. With star killer starting off as a sith in the first game, and being a clone in the second, I understand it not being as emotionally compelling or empathizing with the humanity we feel. I personally feel starkiller’s inner conflictions give him just as much depth. That’s something I feel was lightly addressed in survivor and fallen order because of Cal’s Jedi nature. I personally would have like to see Cal struggle a bit more with the dark side. But that’s just me. I’d like to see him interact with it more in the next installment.

Starkiller for sure. He is more than a match against Cal Kestis, Kanan Jerrus, and Ezra Bridger combined in my opinion in both the lightsaber and the Force

Basically starkiller is the broly of the Star wars universe
Ngl Cal is easily my second favourite star wars character right behind Anakin, Cal just got some top tier character development on this game so it's hard to not putt him on top 5 at least, my only issue with Starkiller is that he's so stupidly broken that it's ridiculous for me
Cal top 5 is crazy tbh
I love going back through these games
Starkiller is more a power fantasy to me, which I like, but Cal is an actual fleshed out character as a opposed to Starkiller/Galen. Throughout the Cal games we as the player are exposed to Cal's various fears and the trauma that comes with it. Not to say Starkiller doesn't have any depth, but it's not by much from what I've see. I preferably prefer characters with more depth as opposed to power fantasy (though they are incredibly addictive) so I'd say I like Cal more. Though in a fight Starkiller mops the floor with Cal.
If you’ve played the games, he actually has quite a bit of character depth. They don’t just throw him in the game and tell him to smash stuff.
YOOOOOO BRO these cliffhangers you be leaving us on are driving me crazy. I was literally at the edge of my chair.
Bro did everything but fight Oggdo Bogdo.
Without watching this I’m gonna say Starkiller would end this man’s life in 5.7seconds.
The only person who would come close to matching starkiller would probably be Luke himself
Yo, Force Unleashed was my jam back in the day: Sam Witwer killed it as Star Killer
Fun fact: Sam Witwer (Star Killer's VA) also played Darth Maul in the Clone Wars series, and he played Doomsday on Smallville 😎
As for Star Killer being canon, I don't trust any of the writers at Disney with these wonderful characters 😢
Man I would do anything for a remastered Force Unleashed 1 & 2
Starkiller for sure. He is more than a match against Cal Kestis, Kanan Jerrus, and Ezra Bridger combined in my opinion in both the lightsaber and the Force
Cool. I think it was a stupid question. They're two completely different characters that serve two completely different purposes.
Yoooooooo this man! Just ATE that Dagan Gera Special!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Man i really hope Starkiller returns one day because he's a very overpowered badass jedi especially with Sam witwer putting everything in his voice acting roles. I don't care what anyone says he's canon to me 😎👍
He isnt cause he is basically Rey but a dude first of all bland looking, no story , Op for no reason
@@Kevin-fj3ff He was literally trained by Darth Vader himself for his whole life so that could be the reason and the 3rd game could’ve expanded his story and character arc more but unfortunately it was left on a cliffhanger before he wasn’t canon anymore by Disney I mean they already ruined Finn’s character too in the movies.
@@Kevin-fj3ff wtf are you talking about? I've never seen a person be more wrong in my life. Rey goes through nothing and has every power imaginable. Starkiller is kidnapped by the most powerful sith in the galaxy and trained from early childhood, enduring innumerable amounts of mental and physical torture for over a decade. Essentially, he trained, she didn't. He suffers and loses multiple fights in both games, but overcomes those losses and perseveres. Rey doesn't lose. Period. The only thing they have in common is power levels, how they got that power is completely different.
@@whenallelsfails21 Right people just wanna hate on starkiller but can’t back it up
@@PurpleObitoHe is too OP and could make the story boring. You don’t really need multiple reasons to dislike Starkiller. Fun character to play as, but he could potentially ruined the story.
Love this guy😂😂
I know that star killer is just legends but I still want to see him in some kind of movie or TV series.
Disney hates money. The Old Republic era and Starkiller are right there and they refuse to do anything with them
Bro showed up after he was done fighting hmmmmmm foreshadowing 🤫🤫
That dagan fight gave me so much trouble yesterday, I’m glad you’re better than me and did it much quicker with less health and stims than me.
However.. the rayvis fight is really damn hard on grandmaster.
I can't wait for Rayvis to run his fade
Rayvis made me lower my difficulty to Master man 😭😂
@@MultiKool13 I was playing on ng+ so I just put on the purity perk to get an easy and quick fight, since I shit you not, used 10 stims on phase 1 of rayvis, and only had like 2 left. So I said fuck that and turned purity on.
@jaxonvlogsgames769 phase 1 was easy, phase 2 was just way too aggressive for me, could never even use all my stims
if starkiller gets introduced in the next game I would personally want him to be Cal and Merrin’s son that way his insane connection to the force is more believable. I don’t know how they’ll get from tanalorr to kashyyyk for the events of “the force unleashed” to take place but that’s my dream scenario.
Starkiller would DESTROY Cal 😭😭😭
If they did something for Survivor like they did for the Force Unleashed games with alternate timeline stories for DLC, it would be sooooooo awesome if they had Starkiller DLC. Ether playing as him or being hunted by him while playing Cal
StarKiller would obliterate Cal 😭
Lmao true but we should make it where Cal Is advanced and he’s stronger so he can hold his own against starkiller and Vader but starkiller helps him fight Vader 🤣 that would be dope
@@burthdgaming If Cal ever reached Cere’s level (which I think he’s almost near when he embraces his darkness), he and star killer would prolly whoop Vader. Of course, high chance of Cal dying anyway but he wouldn’t be completely helpless
@@burthdgaming Why would he?? vader is supposed to the strongest man in the galaxy well next to the emperor
@@OneEyedCloud01 Yes I think he was close too ceres level , because I honestly think Taron Malicros and Bode were pretty strong. and cere held her own , plus something tells me he will go and get revenge against Vader , and who Better too help him then star killer 🤣 after they try and kill each other a few times first though.
@@Kevin-fj3ff idk I’m just theorizing how the third game could turn out
Cal reminds me of the characters from Rebels, it's weird to see some jedi running around in that time but I love them
I only played Force Unleashed recently, his power is cool and all but the narrative was bit too thin for me. Especially considering he’s strong enough to beat Vader and Palpatine back to back. That ending was kinda weird to me
Exactly. You have to make him die at the end, how are you going to do that when the character is build too powerful? How are you taking him down in a believable way that fans will feel satisfied?
@@ssantos88 making him die isn’t the issue, I was expecting him to die but not by Jedi this is not the way bs. He should have died fighting either Vader or Palpatine, not defeating both only for the blind dude to stop him from finishing them and then they kill him, that was dumb as hell
@@arrocko2687 Even the way he died in the first game wasn’t entirely satisfied.
18:26 if they ever do a show set during the high republic it would be cool if they showed Dagan cause then we’d see his journey to becoming the Jedi he is during the game and the flashbacks we see of his past.
Star killer beats cal no diff
Yo you always know when to do your cliffhanger mane 😂 gets me every time keep it up
Starkiller is head and shoulders above Kal. He’s getting washed by him respectfully.
16:15 Bruh this guy is handling Cal just find with only one arm the whole time. He is a badass probably as much as Starkiller.
first?
“Yo shut up Cal. Cal does not have the face of someone you should respect “ 😂 anyone remember which video of his that was?
Starkiller DECIMATES him. This isn’t even a discussion.
Those AOT screen cuts are so hype. Good editing choice my guy.
All I want is Starkiller and Darth Mal in the same room talking
also going fully darkside is an upgrade. If Cal embraced the full darkside and left the light side, he'd be way stronger
Ain’t no way you left it on a cliff hanger like that man you teasing me I’m trying to watch you fully play it but you tuggin my heart strings😭
I had never been a fan of Star Wars but the force unleashed 2 made me interested in Star Wars it was a dope game
Vid is fresher then new baked bread
Dem frogs got Afro straight with the skills
Afffrroooo you the boy but these cliffhangers be killing me keep up the good work
To this day my main memory from that game was pulling that Star Destroyer out of the sky
“Clanker with a hard R really is crazy bruh” lmao
I could watch this every day for the rest of my life lol you're so entertaining. Love the content brethren
Remember playing soul caliber and running starkiller. Undefeated with that dude.
Bro just the fact that this dude can overpower us with one hand made me respect him so much. Like he is actually so cool and powerful. He can just swing around his sword with telekinesis and force push us with his shoulder. I legit thought fighting this man with a dual wield or dual blade cheating
I love Sam Witwer he put so much emotion into his roles
9:17
Cal : hey clankers🤓
Afro: that’s racist 😂💀 you kill me bro
