I’ve been an entrepreneur for 33 years. I’ve never had a landlord ask to see my business license. But the ABC board would look at it. However, ABC board only goes to businesses that have a license. My question is how did they get their liquor and beer to sell? Sounds like the owners are up the creek without a paddle.
Operating without a business license a Police officer can shut you down. Operating without a alcohol license Police officer can shut you down. Why? You get the license to open from city,and there is a State Law on selling Alcohol without license. These open house parties are conducted this way , you pay a flat fee for the building you bring your own Drugs ,Alcohol. That way the one Operating it thinks he's in the clear .So where was the patrols on this business? No Police officer even road by ? As I said HANDS OFF POLICING, that's the way of Democratic run cities.
