I still think injuries ruined his game plan

I do really like him, I'm worried that the football won't improve under José...I'm not against him staying as sometimes this season, we've played very well under Louis

English media are the worst.... let LVG enjoy cup glory .... this may be his last match in football ... why they are still critising his decisions after he has won the cup is totally unnecessary

The english media just annoys me, try to attract people's attention by lying saying that Memphis doesn't show up because he was dropped. Respect for Memphis, expecting to be in the squad yet he was dropped, and STILL he goes and watch the team and support his mates. Showing up was never compulsory for any player!

Couldn't they wait another day to release the Mourinho news, or let Van Gaal tell the media himself

Unbelievable how this industry exists where it's acceptable to completely make stories up, say they are true, and get paid for it.

It's good to see LVG constantly call the media out on their bullshit while he's been here

Don't forget that Manchester United are now in the FA Community Shield vs Leicester City for another chance of silverware.

he's got a point with the transfer thing. Clubs always ask double in price from United for players and the real problem is Ed woodward along with the glazers....we haven't exactly got a good negotiator with woodward who always looks to get unrealistic marquee signings every flipping summer! So Van Gaal's ride hasn't exactly been smooth as hell but thanks for brilliant press conferences and martial and youth players....peace!✌

Brutal. Respect for a man who never stopped believing in his own abilities. Sad to see him go but the reality is that he was scapegoated for a lacklustre performance by a majority of the United team. The injuries in the games did not help but he always persevered. Also, he is an honest man. And passionate. Those ARE United qualities. Let's hope that the next manager, whoever HE may be (sad that there aren't any women managers in football), doesn't throw tantrums.

i don't know how many people remember how dominant man.city were against us, from 2011 to 2014... but with arrival of LVG that changed dramatically. 4-2 last season; the result doesn't even display the dominance that we had over them in that match.

To be honest he hasn't really done bad at United. Are squad was in a mess when he came alright there's still bumps but he's got these young players playing which is good. We're still building a team, things take time. I'm proud we won the fa cup. Well done Louis

Just remember LVG came 11th with Alkmaar Zaanstreek and in his final year as a manager for Alkmaar Zaanstreek he won the league title - he's got a lot of qualities and if he does stay next season I hope he executes it well
