Mazraoui is a very very good player, versatile as well. Also masters the inverted back role, cuz he been a midfielder throughout his whole academy. He’s comfortable in tight positions
Mazraoui will up Antony’s game as well, their click at Ajax was amazing. Theyve had 1/2 touch combinations all the time knowing what the other was gonna do. Ive never seen Antony have this connection with AWB and Dalot

So heres the deal on Wan bissaka from a club side he doesn't really fit the style of football we want to play going forward he is not a modern day rightback and never will be. We as a club do not have a full complete squad that we are putting the finishing touches on that we can afford to have a defensive specialist rightback that we only use to play against a top winger or striker which is what people are saying is why we need to keep him. My simple response to that is for every good game he has like he did against city he has 2 or more where he isn’t that great or where he goes to ground and gives up a penalty or loses concentration at the backpost or isn’t in the proper position defensively and it keeps a player onside somewhere else in the line. On the player side he doesn’t want to stay and sign a deal so hes sold now for something instead of going for free next summer.
AWB “he’s not good at getting forward”, ok true his forward play isn’t elite but it’s not bad either. His defending is not even up for debate, he is one of the best, if not the best 1 v 1 right backs in Europe and offloading him is totally fucking mental.

Wan-Bissaka is a good defender, not a great defender. He is a great slide tackler, probably the best in the world, but he is very average with the ball at his feet and is very sloppy with his passing. He's also very injury prone. He'd never get a game at Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern, PSG or City because he simply isnt good enough, so why should Utd keep him?

That's the plan Malacia should be OK when the season starts or a few games in Shaw is fine already Amass or the other kid gets slowly introduced or depending on how sales go we get another left back but that may mean one of Shaw or Malacia has to go which may prove difficult and also Mazraoui is very good at both fullback positions and also as a midfielder so it is a good signing all round with versatility too.

Keep this same energy when AWB leaves a player onside at the back post or refuses to shoot or makes errant passes or can only make slide tackles.

AWB has had more than enough time to show improvements offensively. Great defender, but sometimes treats the ball like a bomb at his feet.
I really feel this is Ineos's first mistake if it's completed. He isn't an upgrade on AWB and is amazingly injury prone.
Sell AWB for 15m this summer VS AWB leaves on a FREE next summer...shouldn't take too long to work that one out tbh.

So heres the deal on Wan bissaka from a club side he doesn't really fit the style of football we want to play going forward he is not a modern day rightback and never will be. We as a club do not have a full complete squad that we are putting the finishing touches on that we can afford to have a defensive specialist rightback that we only use to play against a top winger or striker which is what people are saying is why we need to keep him. My simple response to that is for every good game he has like he did against city he has 2 or more where he isn’t that great or where he goes to ground and gives up a penalty or loses concentration at the backpost or isn’t in the proper position defensively and it keeps a player onside somewhere else in the line.
On the player side he doesn’t want to stay and sign a deal so hes sold now for something instead of going for free next summer.
AWB “he’s not good at getting forward”, ok true his forward play isn’t elite but it’s not bad either. His defending is not even up for debate, he is one of the best, if not the best 1 v 1 right backs in Europe and offloading him is totally fucking mental.
Especially when we paid near to 100 million for Antony who is not good at getting forward and it's his actual job

@@esp2017 we can't use AWB contract expiration to justify make justification for another bad signing (IMO). As I said, we will pay more for Mazroui who is injury prone than we will get off selling AWB. I'm not opposed to selling AWB especially taking into consideration the issue with his contract but one would think we would be looking to upgrade and don't think that Mazroui guy is it

Wan-Bissaka is a good defender, not a great defender. He is a great slide tackler, probably the best in the world, but he is very average with the ball at his feet and is very sloppy with his passing. He's also very injury prone. He'd never get a game at Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern, PSG or City because he simply isnt good enough, so why should Utd keep him?
Gutted we’re letting AWB go, he’s nowhere near as bad as some people make out on the ball. Plus he’s one of the best In the world 1 on 1. This new guy doesn’t seem to be an upgrade.

Aaron Wan Bissaka is one of the most lackadaisical players to ever wear the United shirt. Far too much laid back sauntering and has zero notion of busting a gut.
Why sign another RB when there are 2 fit RBs? Why not sign a LB who can actually stay fit for the whole season? Unless amass will be playing more this season?
That's the plan Malacia should be OK when the season starts or a few games in Shaw is fine already Amass or the other kid gets slowly introduced or depending on how sales go we get another left back but that may mean one of Shaw or Malacia has to go which may prove difficult and also Mazraoui is very good at both fullback positions and also as a midfielder so it is a good signing all round with versatility too.
I know the really underwhelming shining, nothing to inspire so far. I still feel the squad is weaker going into this new season than last year. Massively concerned
