Is that room also used to store swimming pool gear? I would be worried about swimming pool chemicals mixing into the aquarium. Great video it reminded me that my 2 part calcium was low.
In the US I use bright wells two part, already mixed and its as clear as yours, and concentrated as well, triton in US always is hard to find and runs out in most stores!
I know, we had a problem with the audio that was fixed in following videos. This was the only chance we got to show the tank before we switched to Triton so we decided to run with it anyway. Cam
you can have the best filtration system and still have trouble many people set up these systems so it just takes care of it self but you still need to be hands on in my opinion (JUST KEEP IT SIMBLE) and don't go chasing numbers the key is stability
Awesome. But what exactly were the issues with the tank? The encrusting corals certainly seem to be growing nicely in there. :) I maybe could spot some dead branches?
Great video as always. I've been considering going with triton when my tank outgrows all for reef. Side note, I was listening with headphones and it seems like the audio is a bit off just when Cam is speaking. Sounds louder on the left side and when the music and outro were on it was perfect. Just wanted you to be aware.
Hi, i'm getting a 800 liter sumped tank built at the moment, ill be transferring over my stock from a 300l setup which is all soft corals apart from my gold torch. I'll probably be sticking to mainly soft corals in the new tank. Is it worth me using the triton method in the new tank or shall I just stick to redsea A+B? Not sure using it would be of much benefit to the corals I keep
@@GalleryAquaticaTV I have read from fellow aquarians at our Dutch-Belgian reef keeping site that ATI is a worthy contender too (even cheaper). I use the DSR method, that's another system (origins in the Netherlands)
Holy moly - chunks of Alk - I run Brightwell Kalk+2 and when I need it Tropic Marin All For Reef. I have heard that Soda Ash can turn sand into concrete. Definitely important to run good quality supplements
from memory I like the last outtro better - I mean you replaced the old one and I thought that would stick around - and I really like it - I would use that every time so you don't have to try to remember you lines Cam LOL ;) Awesome video - super helpful ;)
Aren’t the 3a and 3b Triton solutions identical now? So you didn’t need to mix them just to divide them again. I don’t run Triton but I saw a response from a representative on a forum
I sometimes hear this and the problem is in the testing of mag. If this isn’t the case, it just means your tank isn’t consuming much mag, which isn’t necessarily a problem, mag is a fairly slow depleter. Cam
Good looking tank and great content as always. Sorry but sound was faulty, music was loud and clear but maybe settings need tweak in that new microphone for Cams voice.
I was just there yesterday. It’s going ok now, but it suffered a zinc contamination and lost a few of the best corals. I think it’s about 2-3 months away from being ready for an update. Cam
@@GalleryAquaticaTV I am really scared of Potassium. I got to 470 from incorrect water changes(potassium increase but salinity at 35). The result was losing 3 demanding acros pretty fast. Overdose of potassium is not tolerated by demanding SPS in my experience.
Another great video Cam. What a great set up behind the tank- sinks, etc. Triton uses lab grade additives, great stuff.
Merci pour ta vidéo et bonjour à Ania !!! 👍👍👍
Hi Cam! good to see u & I really enjoyed your video! 😀👍👍
Very useful! Thank you and greetings from Switzerland!
Greetings my northerly friend😊 Cam
Beautiful tank can’t wait to see it in the future
Colin Garvie thank you!
Another great, informative video Cam.
Looking 👀 forward to the tank getting even better with the improvements you’ve made to it. 👍🏴
I always regret not doing “before” videos on the tanks we improve. Hopefully in a few months we’ll be able to film the “after” video😊 Cam
Wow You make it look so easy thank you for sharing Beautiful reef tank I need one of those😁😜
It is a definite possibility...

Funny, Brightwell is hard to find in Australia. There are lots of good 2 part and 3 part systems on the market. Cam
Audio isn't playing on the right-ear channel

Anyone know what the large wrasse is at 15:07? Looks like a bird wrasse, but I thought they weren't reef or small fish compatible?

Thanks, we are aware. It was corrected on the following video. 😊

If you’re going to combine 3a/b, why not just use the larger container to dose from?
Aesthetics of function😂
Awesome video m8, I'm interested in this method myself but currently I unfortunately cannot afford to spend at the moment so 2 part it is.
It works out better value than most options on the market. Definitely worth looking into at some point. Cam
@@GalleryAquaticaTV Thanks for the info, I will definitely give it a try when possible. Keep up the great work.

Martijn van Beek Could be, it’s not really available in Australia so I wouldn’t know. Cam

I keep being told the original outro was the best because my hair was out and I had crazy-eyes... might need to redo it again. Cam

Yes, I’ve learnt this since the video was shot. Cam

Where do you purchase triton? Can I buy from you guys. No one seems to stock in AUS
We can ship it, best contact our Facebook. You’ll probably start seeing it in more shops soon I expect. Cam
hi cam. my tank seems to never be using up magnesium. am i doing something wrong?

Cool
Is there anything else to dose besides the 4 parts like trace colours or is all that in the 4 part?
hello, you have the answer in the video 13:30

Yeah, we heard this in editing. We still ran with it as we didn’t want to miss another “before triton” episode, cam
Any updates on how splashback is doing ?

Careful with potassium and Iodine. Overdosing is way worse than any kind of deficiency.
Correct with iodine, not with Potassium. This is the reason for switching to Triton. Cam
