- Wow, what an absolutely insane day! all hands were on deck to help Cam move an absolutely huge Red Sea Reef tank! its an absolutely mammoth job, it took an entire day and the entire crew needed a good feed, a beer and bed when we were done. With about as many hiccups as one could possibly handle, lets see how well they did!

Glad to see you resumed the Sandi just moved my 525 G2 and so many people advised me to start out with new sand. You guessed it, my tank cycled anew and my fish/corals really suffered. If I did it all over, I’d do what you did.
I've previously just removed a half of the old sand and turn it in to bio media then add some new sand to display for that new look with out the new problems.
Lots of puffing and grunting but a great job well executed 👍

I work with furniture relocation, in the past I have used the same glass sucker as you to move cabinets, works the same as glass, give it a try and see how you get on, I've been watching you for years and I worry about your backs, like mine I guess I probably to late but the sucker idea might help in the future. Great show love it, you guys are great.Colin 🏴

I want to move my RedSea Reefer 525 literally like 10-12ft to another position but am deathly afraid to cause any issues with the seams that RS is notoriously known for. Not to mention re aquascaping, but I could use a reaquascaping on the left side of the tank anyway lol.

We did reuse the sand. I prefer to keep it so you’ve got the beneficial bacteria in the new location, but I do like to give it a rinse in seawater so it doesn’t cloud the water too much. Cam
Literally just did this last weekend with my 525 XL, bull busting job , also the feet thing was the post painful for me, really did me in mentally & found it frustrating getting it level , touch wood think all is good.

Did you do anything special with the sand before you reused it or additives or cycling to compensate for any ammonia spikes or anything else?
We gave the sand a quick rinse in seawater. We didn’t use any additives as the process we follow keeps practically all the good bacteria so any ammonia spike is mild and short. Cam
What brand of glass clamps do you use , i have a huge 7 foot to move and i want to make sure that the clamps hold regards
They are labeled NFK but I don’t think that’s the manufacturer. They’re rated to 300kg each and I do believe they are a particularly good type of glass grip. Cam

That's a massive upgrade , What's wrong with your 90 gallon tank that makes you wanna upgrade?
@streetfightervsxenoverse1832 just been having a hard time keeping my salinity with the current tank... its a freshwater tank with a shadow box.... so I told my fish guy if I was gonna get reef ready I was going with a bigger tank... was looking for a 220g but kept getting out bid on market place got lucky and a personal friend in NY that an importer just so happened to be selling a 336g.

You’d still need to move the fish and coral, plus the tank is worth much more than the move. 4 people relocations are expensive though. Cam
Like your videos alot but don’t you own socks sneakers etc it’s a foot and toe show with you mate 😂😂😂 it would seam to be a lot safer to cover your feet especially when moving heavy articles unless your from India wear they practically eat with there feet😊
