They all dressed fine. It’s just the art kids looked like they came out of Dr Seuss and she was an MC. She could have been like most people who just draw others as circle heads 😂
tbh i had a friend who went to MICA (elite art school) who was kind of like this in her freshman year. she didn’t do mean depictions and never thought she was prettier, but she did have a sort of eye-rolling pride about how she didn’t “look” like an art student wrt her styling. people grow out of it. she did! and now she actually looks super artsy and has a shaved head 😂
I’m in art school and the majority of my classmates dress socially acceptable 🤷🏽♀️ there’s like maybe 1-2 that dress outside the norm which isn’t a big deal either.
crazy situation lmao but the stereotype drawings were really weird, like using someone being into "weird" stuff and looking chubby and thin as a "gotcha!" while drawing urself rlly "beautiful"(not saying shes ugly or anything, but its pretty hypocritical) like "i drew myself as a chad and you as a wojak so im right"
@@beelzebub4809 i deleted my comment bc looking with morning wiev I used all the wrong words 🤦🏻♂️ I meant she IS pretty and like is there a beauty scale in beind bad? Also who tf is your lil bro what in gen alpha is that?
I'm so sick of the "stop being so sensitive" argument. How about "try having some empathy/sympathy" hhmmmm????? She's 100% a mean girl who just has the ability to draw. Unfortunately there is a lot of monsters out there that have the beautiful gift of creating art.... Same for any job/hobby, just because someone works an honorable job or hobby, doesn't make them a good person.
that’s real af. “stop being so sensitive” how about you challenge your inner biases and strengthen your empathy? that takes more work then just telling everyone else to bend around YOU. being considerate takes more effort and thought.
I got called sensitive and told IM the weird one bc IM stereotyping people… like babe. If it looks like shit, smells like shit then it’s probably shit.
Girlypop was used to drop slurs with her friends and tried to make it the "freaks" in art school's fault lmao literal "too bad I drew you as the ugly weak wojack and I drew myself as the sigma"
tbh yeah it’s very insecure. she may be priding herself on at least not looking like other art kids and “caring” about looking good unlike her friends (according to her perception). she might resent what she perceives as being free from pressure to conform to beauty standards or something. hopefully she grows out of it.
@@dim307 It seems like rage bait. Not just the tiktok she made, but her behavior in general. But there’s definitely some insecurity tied into it. Maybe it’s her way of coping
@@beelzebub4809 that’s a really good point. def could be rage bait. i just wouldn’t want to raise my platform this way and fight OR maintain that vibe for the rest of my online life lol
@@dim307 Well the girl in the video doesn’t think as logically as you 🤣 Many influencers actually post rage bait because that’s what gives them attention. Nikocado for example: we all knew his videos were influenced by greed for fame but in the end he called it some “social experiment” or in other words: hardcore rage bait. Even though he has gain a bad reputation he still gained a lot of money from clicks. Some people would rather choose money and fame over what’s right, but of course you can still get that while being a good person.
“now we’re all ugly and everyones being made fun of ^_^” as she said while to proceeded to make herself look like the most “drop-dead gorgeous” woman in the sketch while making the others look like “wojaks” 😐
@LucyTohsaka what? They didnt say exotic. They said interesting. Which means the designs are more memorable and intriguing to look at. Dont put words in other peoples mouths they didnt say or insinuate
@@jadynh5402 "interesting" is an euphemism for "exotic". "Ooh, you are so visually interesting" basically means "Oh, you looks so different, so not conventionally asthetic". Saying that to a group of people seen as "weird" is not a compliment, but a condescending euphemism, and also a narcissist remark: "I can see the beauty in you, Im such a virtuous person"
@@LucyTohsaka i didn’t say exotic, I said interesting because they look memorable, they look interesting to me because they have shapes that are easy to draw, they have clear designs that can be replicated, a strong silhouette that makes them recognisable. That’s what I meant, not “so not conventionally aesthetic”.
@SunShineStudios666 As someone who has been called "interesting" in a condescending way by people who wants to use me as an exotic token, I must educate you about how harming that word is, and how it perpetuates stereotypes. I hope you can understand and learn, and try to use less harming terms in the future.
The fact she even admitted of taking inspiration from wojaks legitimately makes this much worse, cause she maybe didn't want to make fun of neuro divergent and/or trans people, but her inspiration definitely does...she even admitted of drawing them as stereotypes. So she knows what she's doing but still tries to gaslight people critically seeing her "joke" as something that can be hurtful to people that don't fit society 100%. I don't think she deserved harassment or hate or even being cancelled, but a proper "sorry" wouldn't hurt her (I'm getting owonekko flashbacks..goddamit..) Edit: alright...I just now saw that she used slurs. Sigh....
I really hope the characters she drew aren't based on specific people from her class. Seeing someone draw me like that without my consent or knowledge would feel so hurtful and damage my trust in others.
"It was not my intention" even if it wasn't, you can still hurt or make someone upset lol. If you accidentally dropped someone's favorite mug, that would upset them regardless of intention.
Just one question: SINCE WHEN DID *YOUR* PERSONA NOT REPRESENT YOU?! "It's not me, it's a persona of me" what in the Moon Moon kind of bullsh*t excuse is that???
There are people who acts different. Like TOTALLY different. But in her case, I think she is b*llshitt*ng about it being her persona. I mean, she slurred. Even if it is a persona, then she's still rage baiting and not a good content creator. I hope she gets banned. People like her are the virus of humanity.
To be fairrr personas dont have to look like you... it can be yourself but more attractive, or an elephant with a weird hat. Either way im not her on side though shes a weirdo
I like how the original joke was about people not finding the artist funny and the internet collectively agreed that she isn't. Maybe she should draw us 😅
I can see why her friends don't think she is funny. Her jokes were probably and most definitely were offensive (I don't think her jokes were even jokes either, she most likely meant them fr). Safe to assume she has no friends at her art school too, which made her insecure and mad, so she went coo-coo on tiktok to find validation.
I think that one girl is supposed to be wearing a horse shirt? I had a horse girl in my art class. She was super great at drawing and obviously loved drawing horses. Her name was Erin. A lot of people said she was weird, but she was my brand of weird so we were friends. I started drawing horses because of how passionate she was about them. I also went on to read all of the Black Beauty books and even Man O' War after I learned how to read. I had to take special classes to learn how to read. lol I hope she's having a great life. Her video had the opposite affect. I looked at her character and was like "boring". Her character's personality is just "I'm a socially awkward, but conventionally attractive white woman." Yet, I look at the girl with the horse shirt and think of an amazing friendship I had when I was a child. The other characters in her video oozed personality.
when i was a kid the horse girls were always the absolute sweetest people tbh i hate that people use that term/personality as something derogatory. horses are cool and people who like them are cool
Jokes on her. The “weird” art students look way more interesting as character designs than her little sona does. She just looks like some generic mean girl bland as tofu. You could easily turn them into fleshed out characters with so much potential! The designs remind me of how different characitures can be used in a non stereotypical way and used as really interesting design for a character. Tim Burton for example and the characters in the old cartoon Recess. They still had fleshed out characters with motivation and emotion. why waste your talent on being a pick-me?
My art school students had some of those features but had I drawn them more flatering. I always try to draw the beauty I see in real people. When I did live figure drawing. I always draw people as slightly more fit and dont focus on bulges and folds than if it was a reference photo so when they walk around they feel good. I want them to think "wow she made my tattoo look really cool! not gosh this artist thinks im ugly!"
Honestly I feel like people really overlook the queerphobia of this post too. Like a LOT (and mean genuine majority) of art schools in the US have queer students, and very queer friendly environments. As an art student I know they definitely chosen to make them “ugly” simply because she is “normal” (I.e. she made them ugly because, to her, a queer and potentially neurodivergent person is ugly.) crazy undertones Also like? Something about it the “using my friend group’s humor at art school” really strikes me as a cover up for the humor probably being problematic, and the art school friends rightfully getting offended.
You basically just said queer people tend to dress ugly? Though you denied it's ugly, but still you basically confirmed the "blue haired overweight piercing covered" meme is real lmao
That is just completely stereotypical and offensive on its own. people who dress in a specific style or in a specific way do not have to belong to a particular social group. Yes, a bunch of art schools do have Neurodivergent and queer students, but it’s a reach to say that they dress like this or they look like that, thats on so many different levels offensive. I’m tired of you guys putting people in boxes based on your preconceived notions, and it is absolutely not queer phobic or ablest to depict a caricature in a negative light just because you are assigning the characteristics of queerness or neurodivergence onto them. You guys are being incredibly sensitive and reaching with this, and I’m saying this as someone who is both queer and neurodivergent.
You can tell that the thought and detail put into each of the characters that there was more to them than just "funny quick drawings" theres definitely more to them and considering how she drew "herself/persona" its clear she views herself as such and thus meaning that the other characters are her view of people around her
Adding more info while I watch this bc zeppy’s apology seemed sudden and out of place. Zeppy had to apologize after another artist, seo-intp, posted a video abt calling out zeppy, basically making it seem that zeppy is weird bc they have way more followers than the other girl and that zeppy is weird for assuming it’s abt neurodivergent/trans ppl while zeppy is trans and felt offended! Seo-intp requested for an apology for the other girl from zeppy and bc of that creator is also popular, ppl jumped in and harassed zeppy.
I very much agree that the og video was an attack on POC, neurodivergent, and trans or queen folks whether she realized it or not but it's hard not to be the big age you are and NOT realize that in 2024
I just hate when people try to pick on us weirdos. Remember when a girl from my school was ecstatic when I just... talked to her and didn't insult her? I also dress somewhat alternative, and even some teachers try to bully us, as me and my friends. The cartoon that the second girl made was very cute fr, loved it ❤
I’m glad you’re finally talking about this bc I watched EVERYTHING live as it happened. It’s just crazy how she went out of her way to say she was trying to be offensive and said “sorry I’m not sorry” she just seems like a hurt elitist she’s definitely a narcissist.
Y'all have got to acknowledge the other newer video Mewklyy posted on TikTok showing that Mis4 is a much worse person than she pretends to be. Much worse than this situation shows her as
I know some people are like oh "my art school dosn't have people like this", but I have to say is it a bad thing? Like is it bad if people look like this? Theres 7 billion people on this earth. Why try to fit people you will never meet nor date into whatever you find appealing.
My friend and I watch your videos together sometimes, and she's always so grateful you're so descriptive of the artworks/images because she is almost almost completely blind! Not many creators put so much effort into describing things that most people can see clearly on their own. (Example: 0:55-1:40) Thank you! Love your videos, and personality btw!
Crazy how zeppy had to apologize for this, and her saying that zeppy needed to be held accountable for their actions. (context: zeppy also an artist on tiktok made a little skit about the art students in the og tiktok pretty wholesome acc)
The Caricatures wouldn’t really be bad if she also drew herself as a caricature and including herself into the joke/making fun of herself to. But she didn’t, she drew herself very normally, so the caricatures felt extra targeted and mean-spirited.
I honestly find the ridiculous over-the-top caricatures/stereotypes of the art students hilarious. (I'm a "weird art kid" myself haha, including being trans+autistic) I just think she should have portrayed HERSELF in the same way. Because she "yassified" herself compared to the other characters, it definitely gives off the wrong vibes. oh boy, finished watching the vid. I still believe what I said above.... but not for this creator. Very obviously she is full of hate and was actually trying to do harm. If it were a silly "haha look!! Silly stereotypes, but im *also* a silly stereotype" it would have gone over way better and actually have been funny in my opinion.. aaas long as it wasn't harmful stereotypes, which these drawings have been outed as being.
I absolutely agree with that and I can’t speak for the other things she has done because I haven’t really researched into them. I haven’t finished the RUclips video, but you know with that being said I feel like people are too sensitive regarding the art school students their stereotype because if you think about the video even for a moment, you will realize she was the one being outcasted and ostracized and looked at like she was different because she didn’t necessarily fit in with.
Difference between this and south park is south park will make fun of literally everyone yet still manages to stay funny to thoes groups.(Though somethings are a bit...eh)
Its really sad people would be so hurtful to others. I go to an art school too, and everyone’s is different with their style of clothing and they’re all valid! Its so unnecessary to draw them like that…
They posted another “apology” after taking down their first one and it is not apologizing or even taking accountability. She pinned it as “I was an edgy teenager” when she did it till at least she was 19. In one of the screenshots you can also see her pointing a pewpew at her cat, allegedly it is fake. But it’s still not okay. There are some archived videos of her posting abt it and I can try finding it for anyone who wants it. Edit: the second apology was taken down, I had a screenshot on my phone but it is being repaired so I don’t have it. If I can find someone who does I will try to provide it.

Idc personally how she depicted art school students. I'm an art school student I do where "weird" stuff I got a gap in my teeth. It's one of those things where I personally let it roll off my back but it's the fact she punched down that got me like "oh fuck off actually" going "sorry you're the problem" without acknowledging the joke was not funny, and she is going out of her way to MAKE FUN of a group of people it don't matter what that group is. I hate when the internet puts words in another person's mouth, so I don't think it was intended to make fun of the disabled and trans people AT FIRST. When she let them slurs go at the end i think it was added to the "joke". Like intentions can change😮. But simplifying the problem is: the joke was you made fun of a group of people to prop yourself up. No wonder she still thought it was funny. It is mean girl shit and mean girls have a way where you do not realize they are being mean until later sometimes. Bit she was straight up mean so yeah I don't know how we gonna defend her like that
The people defending her either don’t care, or think the same way she does. I never cared about the drawings until I read the comments on that video, that women encouraged such a disgusting environment in that comment section (liking all negative comments too), and people tried to deflect her behavior as “she doesn’t have to police what other say” like?? 13:30 explains it best “jumping through hoops to say she isn’t hating” mean girls stick together and while people can change we don’t gotta support you while you self reflect 🤷
This was definitely pulling the "LOOK AT THE WEIRDOS" gag and didn't realize that (A) it was it NOT funny (even if you take away the insulting stereotypes) and (B) that insulting people was NOT gonna float in the ART community which should be obvious, mainly BECAUSE, If you are an Artist or have a lot of artist friends at SOME point in your life (probably during school) you will probably be labeled as an "OUTCAST" buy "NORMIES" and usually good natured people use that as a lesson on how hurtful being treated that way can be and learn to accept everyone for their Unique Individuality rather that TEAR THEM DOWN because they are not "THE SAME". What is really ODD to me is Caricatures are almost ALWAYS insulting PERIOD. I am not sure if I have ever seen one that wasn't making fun of the person it was based on, (at least in Western culture) even though I am an Artist that loves to support other artist I could never bring myself to buy one. At least in Anime and Manga Chibis and other more off balance Stylized caricatures tend focus on making the characters Cute or Charming based on their unique features not making look like a Freak show exhibit and then expect the person they insulted to BUY IT! Maybe it is even on purpose as a socially acceptable form of Black Mail, and they make it SO ugly so you will Buy to keep them from Hanging it up as a Demo at their stand or shop
Nah like this artist f’ed up. I was the conventional teen with fairly normative clothes and makeup and interests, in a visual arts High school. Yea most did not fit the conventional norms of style and such of the rest of society. And I thought some styles were… odd to me. But in that school you could be you because you were surrounded by others who didn’t fit in. And no one who didn’t have actually negative views of those people or didn’t judge those people hard wouldn’t make that video. That video is honestly kinda vile to have been made by anyone, let alone someone who actually themselves went to art school.
its just a funny joke about art students that's kinda true (as an art student myself) idgaf if she made fictional people look ugly as artist are not an oppressed class of people!!! yeah i cans tan to be poked fun at, its not like anyone is coming after my race or gender. you need to grow up if your getting offend bc someone drew artist looking ugly. think of what meat canyon dose an thoses are bassed of of REAL people. what she did is just poking a little fun witch is OK.
@@dobbierealsit seems like bullying because the joke is "artist are weird and not funny" it's not that the joke itself is bad but exaggerating artist that way with being not able to get jokes. Black people *usually* have bigger lips but drawing us with over exaggerate lips is crazy.
@@dobbiereals she was drawing stereotypes. do you think minstrel shows depict what ACTUAL black people look like or can you realize that it's meant to be an exaggerated stereotype?
Hi. Kid who went to art school here. I don’t know what art school this chick went to. But my classmates were always good looking. No matter what walks of life. The Sequa trans guy was hot. All the exchange students were hot even the people who were on the heavy side looked good. Like what stereotype is this? Art students are beautiful people.
Nah that's wild, I go to art school, the kids here dresses hella nice since they did study fashion and all that and understand color theory/form. So she purposely either picked out the people who had conventionally unattractive features to draw in an exaggerated way or she feels like she above them in some way and that's how she perceives them or she's feeding into this sort of negative stereotypes. You don't just "unintentionally" give yourself a snatch waste, make yourself look hot (and her oc is very similliar to her so we can argue that's how she perceives herself) and then versus to that, draw unconventionally unattractive features and harmful stereotypes (People normally don't even draw those things unless they are making a point or that was something they really noticed) . Plus, she's mostly not even close to them with how she refers to them. If someone I know in passing comes up to me with a joke, I'll look at them as if they're insane or just not say anything. She even got caught using slurs like why are we defending her?
Yes my mom always asks me for advice or to go shopping with her because I understand color and form 😂 I’m an illustration major and most my classmates dress flattering/normal.
The accusation of the weird drawings being offensive to trans people is offensive in itself. You're basically calling them ugly and weird when nowhere in the original video was there any mention of any sexuality or orientation. I don't know, that felt icky to me. Maybe I'm skipping some context though.
i get where youre coming from. to me, drawings like this are typically made to be caricatures of trans people, and so when trans people see them, thats what they think of; the caricatures. not necessarily actual trans people, but the intent behind the drawing. but thats just how i think of it
You're skipping context. These are not actual trans and autistic people. Yes, there are some that look like this, but she is directly making fun of them and used wojaks as a reference to make fun of them. These depictions are used to be ugly. If they weren't stereotypical depictions, she would've had a strange depiction too considering that she is no different in shape than the middle one with bangs. Me, personally, I'm not sure who is supposed to be trans or not, but I know that she is supposed to be the pretty one and the rest are specifically supposed to be ugly. If they were also supposed to be cute, they'd be drawn like her with specific features that make them different than her. She did not do that. They both done in different styles. She clearly is trying to separate herself from them.
I personally believe she was making fun of the stereotypes of the people who go to art school, not those groups specifically. UNFORTUNATELY, those groups of people are usually what you find in art school. Cause those kinds of people tend to be more creative and want to go to art school. Thus, technically, making fun of those people.
3:47 Ik I’m kinda slow but I just originally took this as, just really shocked like if she said something like “I’m so skibidi” or something and they got weirded out
the main thing that I hated was how the tiktoker handled it, she would NOT let the situation go, she would bring it up during some of her lives on tiktok because clearly she likes the attention she was getting because of that video she made she’s also been shown to be racist and said offensive stuff in the past and her she brushed all that off aswell by saying “even if I did do all of that it’s not a big deal, it’s none of your business if I’m problematic” people were also upset with how she switched up when people started comparing her real life self to her drawing of herself, she said it was her “persona” or “oc” but she’s also said before that it’s her actual self
While I personally didn’t find it that serious I feel like it was definitely weird and absolutely done to make fun of people who are outside of the general norm. Also I feel like Zeppy didn’t need to apologize at all and people getting mad at them is genuinely so stupid.
ngl the way the characters were drawn in the sketch especially the dude with the anime girl on the t-shirt reminds me of the game class 09, i can totally see jeffery to the right there 😂😂
Unfortunately, there are many people who like to have "ugly" friends to socially uplift themselves in eyes of others. "Why did you call me ugly? I'm more beautiful than my friends! See?!". I would understand if such sketches are PRIVATE friend-to-friend joke and NOT public. If my friend had done to me the same shit like this girl in the video, I don't think I would be friends with them anymore😅
Funny how she looks like her drawings of those people ngl......... She doesn't look at all like how she draws herself. Girl is built like that Markiplier drawing from Charlie 💀
This is so messed up, most of the art students at my uni are really cool looking and a lot are very attractive!!! Just really cool people and they definitely get edgy jokes/funny memes, i remember feeling left out at first but really being able to fit in once i broke that barrier. I love my art classes and classmates ❤️
I dont actually think that she was specifically trying to make caricatures of minorities i think she was just drawing people she found ugly not actively trying to make them look queer or neurodivergent
Huh. If I'd not seen anything but the initial video, I genuinely would have thought it was just one of those cases where someone drew the "Crickets chirping audience" with "undesirable" traits to really dig in how deeply uncomfortable the moment is. I'm fairly certain I've seen something like that in cartoons is why. But that not being her reasoning and also how she's treated the situation in many cases seems to imply that's far from the case.
Are you kidding? I come from an art school... WE ARE ALL WEIRDOS and honestly that's the beauty of it. We were all unique and nobody was offended. Times have sure changed. But to be honest drawing yourself pretty in comparison is a bit odd.
Believe people when they tell you who they are. If they draw bigoted caricatures they're telling you they're a bigot. She's an adult who proudly puts this shit online, she doesn't need to be babied.
Yeah no it really gave "early 2000s anime where we purposefully draw Black and Trans folks the ugliest way to make fun of their features" and it really needs to be left in the past just like the wojacks she "based them off of"
"People always draw their persona hot!" My fursona: beanpole, absolutely shapeless. Hair over her eyes. Frumpy boyish clothes. Gremlin-like, feral af. Total idiot goofball. I feel like I missed the class where they teach you to make your persona better than you. I've regressed . .
Oi same. Mine is a short hairy stinky wolf with really messy hair and very very sensitive and swears a fuck ton. I project my problems and my flaws onto her because she basically is me and it’s my way of coping with reality and how my brain likes to hurt me.
@lulub517 I just find it more freeing to be the goblin-esque autistic dad joke machine I am inside than creating a character that is more socially acceptable and objectively attractive than I could ever achieve. That isn't to say I don't personally find my fursona adorable, I certainly do! But I know she isn't what general society would consider attractive and I'm ok with that. Your fursona sound cute to me too, because she's an honest kind of character design rather than eye candy for the sake of just that. I love characters that mean something more than "me but gorgeous and cool".
@@pastelgothine420 also ig if we're sharing species here, my fursona is a pacific spookfish lol Her muzzle is like a traffic cone I love sea critters (and bugs) and I have a weird love for animals with silly noses, and you don't get much sillier than a fish with a huge snoot
Also, people saying "people in art school dont look like this" are missing the point. She's putting down people with features deemed unatractive to lift herself up.
16:44 "Uhhhhh anime depictions of people having a child" I know I shouldn't but I audibly laughed when u described it like that. Idk what id say to cover that up good job lmao
Guys. It’s not that deep. Unless someone from her art school themselves calls her out. Why are we defending imaginary hypothetical people that were drawn as caricatures in a funny video she made??? Like do you people seriously not have a life that you want to get pressed over people that may or may not even exist?? 💀 For all you know all of this was a stylistic choice. So you’re criticizing an artist being an artist. (Side note: the making fun of neurodivergence coming from an autistic person myself, ya’ll need to buck up. No one is making fun of you or attacking you so if you got personally offended by the way she depicted those people. Then I think that’s just the way you see yourself since you’re clearly projecting your insecurities on her characters. And thinking she’s personally attacking you or your “community”.
Well, most people know that depictions affect how people see you. Wouldn't you be offended if you were the "weird" person in the video and then the video gets popular or something and nobody wants to be around or associate with you because you look strange or embarrassing to them. You need to look up some videos, read, or listen to people who had media affect how they are treated. Don't know what country you are from, but the worst-case scenario of stereotypes and caricatures being bad is the fact that a certain US t*rrorist group revived after a certain movie came out and terrorized a specific group of people because they were afraid of the caricatures and stereotypes said movie fed to them. Similar media happened in Germany in the 1800s-1939 that empowered certain groups to severely harm and destroy cultures. I don't think we should cancel a person over it, but I do think we should take what they're saying seriously and not let these small things gloss over before they become big and harder to manage and as well feed into the collective mindset. (I understand these stereotypes are old, but 100%, they can get worse.)
Nahhhhh idc if its mean or stooping. If i looked like her...yea no way id be brave enough to draw stereotypes like that like. 💀 bruh Isnt there that saying, which is yea bs but so fitting for her "your not pretty enough to be mean" bruh
I feel like the most annoying thing is that she knows what she did. I know that someone like her, who would draw people like that, does not care and probably internally feels like…. “Oh well the internet is mad but where’s the lie 💀” and therefore will just say whatever dumb bullshit she has to to get everyone else off her back, but it’s just annoying that the rest of us have to play this game with her to make our point. She knows what she did, and even if these characterizations were somehow unintentional, it speaks to her subconscious and how she sees herself and others. Regardless, she sucks imo.
If I were to ever actually draw "myself" I wouldn't make myself with features that look beautiful, I'd just rraw myself how i look. And this is why I use an OC who I claim as my "irl" persona or whatever you want to call it because he's not intentionally made to look handsome or beautiful, he just look like how I like him to look
Tbh i actually have no problem with the video at first like "they're your characters you can do whatever you like". However, her making 'explanation' video out it just make it worse. I like her style and drawings tho, this sad :( She could just say, 'theyre not real people, i create them for fun', and move on. Like bro idgaf, if she see them as ugly or something. I just appreciate her style.
It isn't even dark humor is like, what? Make other people uglier with characteristics that are really put above the table and drawing herself so 'attractive' and that staff makes it loses the point of humor.
@@Zoom_0 Over exaggerating things is a big part of humor. Especially in animated form this is one of the most common aspects used in humor. And like I've said before, it is dark humor. There will always be someone or something that is the but of the joke.
I don’t know if it’s the major I’m in (illustration/graphic design) and while I’ve seen unconventional students around, majority of my classmates including me just dress “normal” She comes across as just salty for whatever reason.
Idk how to feel about that one because it could had been a joke with the first tiktok but it went to something clearly wrong for not drawning the others normally or at least don't drawn herself normally too
the whole caption where she said "now we are all ugly" is a tik tok where she redrew her persona less attractive with the art kids. however she deleted it, probably because it did not go as well as she wanted.
For me, it's clear she feels prettier than all her "weird" classmates because she dresses socially acceptably.
“Socially acceptable” as in sexual. Just like the middle schoolers in my school…

Is that a weird way to say they look "exotic"...? That's so insensitive.
@SunShineStudios666 As someone who has been called "interesting" in a condescending way by people who wants to use me as an exotic token, I must educate you about how harming that word is, and how it perpetuates stereotypes. I hope you can understand and learn, and try to use less harming terms in the future.
I had to skip that whole “apology” section cause it was nothing but yapping 😭
The fact she even admitted of taking inspiration from wojaks legitimately makes this much worse, cause she maybe didn't want to make fun of neuro divergent and/or trans people, but her inspiration definitely does...she even admitted of drawing them as stereotypes.
So she knows what she's doing but still tries to gaslight people critically seeing her "joke" as something that can be hurtful to people that don't fit society 100%.
I don't think she deserved harassment or hate or even being cancelled, but a proper "sorry" wouldn't hurt her (I'm getting owonekko flashbacks..goddamit..)
Edit: alright...I just now saw that she used slurs. Sigh....
I really hope the characters she drew aren't based on specific people from her class. Seeing someone draw me like that without my consent or knowledge would feel so hurtful and damage my trust in others.

There are people who acts different. Like TOTALLY different. But in her case, I think she is b*llshitt*ng about it being her persona. I mean, she slurred. Even if it is a persona, then she's still rage baiting and not a good content creator.

I can see why her friends don't think she is funny. Her jokes were probably and most definitely were offensive (I don't think her jokes were even jokes either, she most likely meant them fr).
Safe to assume she has no friends at her art school too, which made her insecure and mad, so she went coo-coo on tiktok to find validation.
why is this cosmetology student loitering around an art school

As an art student I know they definitely chosen to make them “ugly” simply because she is “normal” (I.e. she made them ugly because, to her, a queer and potentially neurodivergent person is ugly.) crazy undertones
Also like? Something about it the “using my friend group’s humor at art school” really strikes me as a cover up for the humor probably being problematic, and the art school friends rightfully getting offended.
absolutely this.
that’s what i thought too
You basically just said queer people tend to dress ugly? Though you denied it's ugly, but still you basically confirmed the "blue haired overweight piercing covered" meme is real lmao
@@SerasugeeI’m confused how you got that from the comment
Seo-intp requested for an apology for the other girl from zeppy and bc of that creator is also popular, ppl jumped in and harassed zeppy.
Zeppy's video was just wholesome i dont understand why people attacked them
I very much agree that the og video was an attack on POC, neurodivergent, and trans or queen folks whether she realized it or not but it's hard not to be the big age you are and NOT realize that in 2024
Even as a plus sized person with an hourglass figure I think she's 100% in the wrong with all this. She's just a very mean person with a huge ego.
I just hate when people try to pick on us weirdos. Remember when a girl from my school was ecstatic when I just... talked to her and didn't insult her? The Caricatures wouldn’t really be bad if she also drew herself as a caricature and including herself into the joke/making fun of herself to. But she didn’t, she drew herself very normally, so the caricatures felt extra targeted and mean-spirited.
I honestly find the ridiculous over-the-top caricatures/stereotypes of the art students hilarious. (I'm a "weird art kid" myself haha, including being trans+autistic) I just think she should have portrayed HERSELF in the same way. Because she "yassified" herself compared to the other characters, it definitely gives off the wrong vibes.

I absolutely agree with that and I can’t speak for the other things she has done because I haven’t really researched into them. she thinks shes not like the other art students 💀
That video is honestly kinda vile to have been made by anyone, let alone someone who actually themselves went to art school.
its just a funny joke about art students that's kinda true (as an art student myself) idgaf if she made fictional people look ugly as artist are not an oppressed class of people!!! yeah i cans tan to be poked fun at, its not like anyone is coming after my race or gender. you need to grow up if your getting offend bc someone drew artist looking ugly. think of what meat canyon dose an thoses are bassed of of REAL people. what she did is just poking a little fun witch is OK.

the joke was probably a slur or something really offensive (if this situation was based on something in her life)
She put too much detail on them for it to not be intentional
its so so sos sososososososo obvious that she was trying to make fun of those groups of people....
Yes my mom always asks me for advice or to go shopping with her because I understand color and form 😂 I’m an illustration major and most my classmates dress flattering/normal.
i cannot say anything about the drawing cause there is literally people like that in my art school lmao

And?? Does It make you feel Better about yourself??
The accusation of the weird drawings being offensive to trans people is offensive in itself. You're basically calling them ugly and weird when nowhere in the original video was there any mention of any sexuality or orientation. I don't know, that felt icky to me. Maybe I'm skipping some context though.
you must be dumb
She got caught saying slurs
i get where youre coming from. to me, drawings like this are typically made to be caricatures of trans people, and so when trans people see them, thats what they think of; the caricatures. not necessarily actual trans people, but the intent behind the drawing. but thats just how i think of it
You're skipping context.

As a Belgian art student, we may look weird/ stand out of the crowd more but don’t look like that fr 😭🙏🏻
It’s that she looks like one her “art students” caricatures for me
I was expecting her to look like her character, but she's kinda looking like the middle one a little, but with girlier clothing.
the main thing that I hated was how the tiktoker handled it, she would NOT let the situation go, she would bring it up during some of her lives on tiktok because clearly she likes the attention she was getting because of that video she made
she’s also been shown to be racist and said offensive stuff in the past and her she brushed all that off aswell by saying “even if I did do all of that it’s not a big deal, it’s none of your business if I’m problematic”
people were also upset with how she switched up when people started comparing her real life self to her drawing of herself, she said it was her “persona” or “oc” but she’s also said before that it’s her actual self
While I personally didn’t find it that serious I feel like it was definitely weird and absolutely done to make fun of people who are outside of the general norm. Also I feel like Zeppy didn’t need to apologize at all and people getting mad at them is genuinely so stupid.
ngl the way the characters were drawn in the sketch especially the dude with the anime girl on the t-shirt reminds me of the game class 09, i can totally see jeffery to the right there 😂😂
it’s sad how people think they can act like this and get away with it, which they usually do get away with. some people r crazy.
Ive met a lot of art students, and the majority really looks like that kinda 😭
oh, i'm glad i deleted tiktok off my phone because this type of things.
People just took it wayyyy too seriously
Yeah no it really gave "early 2000s anime where we purposefully draw Black and Trans folks the ugliest way to make fun of their features" and it really needs to be left in the past just like the wojacks she "based them off of"
I feel like proportionally her face resembles the middle caricature character more than her sona
To be honest, I liked her video, and I had no idea there was something wrong with the video until now
"People always draw their persona hot!"
My fursona: beanpole, absolutely shapeless.
Yeah ik mine isn't conventionally attractive but its bc they're a overweight, dark angel cat who can shapeshift into any sex and dresses pastel goth
@@pastelgothine420 I love unconventionally attractive characters. Especially if they're girls lol
Be still my lezzie heart
@@pastelgothine420 also ig if we're sharing species here, my fursona is a pacific spookfish lol
Her muzzle is like a traffic cone
I love sea critters (and bugs) and I have a weird love for animals with silly noses, and you don't get much sillier than a fish with a huge snoot
Oh its definetely a dogwhistle. She knows what she did and wants likeminded people to see it and know what she means by it.
FR
I really just think it was unesacarry, like bro could have drawn stick men and the joke would have landed the same
Nahhhhh idc if its mean or stooping. If i looked like her...yea no way id be brave enough to draw stereotypes like that like. 💀 bruh
Isnt there that saying, which is yea bs but so fitting for her "your not pretty enough to be mean" bruh
The girl in the middle just made me think of Angela Anaconda.
That show is nightmare fuel ngl
It’s rare when someone on tik tok gets cancelled and actually deserves it. Ironic.
art student here. yall have way too much free time if something like this bothers you this much
I feel like the most annoying thing is that she knows what she did.
I like her style and drawings tho, this sad :(
She could just say, 'theyre not real people, i create them for fun', and move on. Like bro idgaf, if she see them as ugly or something. I just appreciate her style.
Real talk tho! I went to school with a girl who kinda looked like the girl in the middle 😂 I was SMITTEN 😍 I hope she's doing well 🥰🥰🥰
People are able to make themselves upset over anything nowadays.
What she posted was offensive yeah, but that's the point of dark humor.
The intention didn't seem like dark humor and your pitiful understanding of what dark humor is *is* sad. Please look it up.
The initial issue was cringy on her end not cancelable but definitely showed a certain perception of herself and her classmates
your hair is so pretty:0❤❤
I don’t know if it’s the major I’m in (illustration/graphic design) and while I’ve seen unconventional students around, majority of my classmates including me just dress “normal”
She comes across as just salty for whatever reason.
Idk how to feel about that one because it could had been a joke with the first tiktok but it went to something clearly wrong for not drawning the others normally or at least don't drawn herself normally too
I genuinely did not think society would sink this low as to be upset by this
i apologise but actually i wont apologise BUT i apologise
the whole caption where she said "now we are all ugly" is a tik tok where she redrew her persona less attractive with the art kids. however she deleted it, probably because it did not go as well as she wanted.
