When they get really dirty, I usually vacuum my mats, and if they’re small enough I then throw them into the washer (front load) on the gentle cycle, and then let them air dry. Been doing that for years, and wondered if anyone else does this?
On my old Ford Ranger, the cloth upholstery snaps off from the seat frame. Threw that in the washer, too.

    • @nickreid9242
      @nickreid9242 4 года назад +1

Usually those get he dirt out with high pressure which blows the dirt everywhere. This makes it take forever to clean bc you have to keep going back. This is what I’ve heard from ppl. I’ve never used one myself. I mean if it works for you go for it though! :)

@@nickreid9242 i work at a car dealership where we get really dirty cars and make them clean again (at showroom level). We use tornadors and they work really good! You just need to keep it really close to the carpet and then it will get it losened up, then you vacuum it and tornador it and on and on. Until it is clean. So yes it works really good, you just need to start with the carpets.

First guess, this was a homeless person living in their car......with dogs. Generally, cars are the last thing people give up. So after the dwelling was lost- move into the car, until the car, too went away. Some insight here. There was a time not too long ago, when Kia had this INSANE finance deal on the Soul. It went like this- nothing down, ZERO dollars, ZERO interest for FIVE years, and no payments for almost 8 months! They were literally paying you to take it! I picked up a stripper Soul for a little over 200$ month. Oh, the wheel? I used Mr. Clean Magic erasers on them. Haven't found one where it didn't take that greasy french frie shine off them. Dude, I used to really like your channel. Now, all your videos are inundated with ads. There were 13 separate ad groups throughout this video. What's the deal with that?

@@StaufferGarage Thanks for reaching out. I am not shocked by RUclips's antics. I watch other channels that aren't monetized but yet all through the video are ads. When I tell the video owner, they say they don't receive a penny. Got to love RUclips!!

Ok, i have literally tried watching other detailing videos and i have found flaws in all of them.
    1. Have a "nails-on-a-chalkboard" voice
    2. Take FOREVER (same seat for HOURS)
    3. Monotone narration (serious snooze factor happening)
    4. Not giving needed specs like, what ratio cleaner to water, why they use this product over another.
    5. No personality..i mean..NONE!
I went through about 6 videos..and I have always came to this conclusion..they are not, never will be, comparable to Stauffer Garage. EVER. Im a sub of yours forever! (Thats never changed anyway!) #StaufferSpoiled

Been a subscriber since May 2019 from one of your first detailing videos. It’s been a year and a half. I love your videos that I’ve been motivated to detail my car way more often that I have before. For some reason this calms and relaxes me. Love your videos and can’t wait for the pet comb. IN NEED IF IT FOR MY CAR!!!
I also watch your videos on my break at work and always before I go to sleep like now for example.

I've been watching your videos for years (probably 2-3). I subbed because I lived in Columbus, Ohio for 7yrs and wanted to support local. I only moved when I got laid off this past July.
Your videos are beneficial and I have used them to learn about keeping my old car looking clean (the invisible glass product is killer).

I have been subscribed for more than 2 years. I remember when you did a trim restoration. I will have to check it all out to see exactly how long I have been watching you.
I started doing detailing 6 years ago and educating myself since then and watching you also for different approches or techniques as well as products for me to do better too. I have a regular job as a Senior Programmer Analyst and do Detailing as a side job during weekends and sometimes weekdays per schedule.
Wow, this vehicle is what we call a shaggy vehicle and seems those carpets were full of drooling. One thing I do is use a ultraviolet light to identify organic matter so to attack it with Meguiars D106 or D116 or an enzymatic solution, but mostly I start by using Bilt Hamber Surfex HD which is very versatile with the different dilutions and is highly effective on interiors and exterior.
    Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷

i’ve been watching your videos for about 5 months now. i’m pretty sure i’ve watched most of your videos, or i’ve watched them WAY more than once. but your videos have inspired me to create my own car cleaning business. well not actually, just like a community business. i’m 15 and i’ve cleaned about 3 cars so far and they loved the outcome of it. the $300 gift card would be used towards my new roller skate wheels, and bearings. and the rest will go towards my mom, dad, step dad, brother and sister for christmas! if i don’t win, good luck to everyone else😊

Just did a Jeep Cherokee..owner has 3 dogs..that truck was LAYERED with dog hair. I have a new dislike for Jeep Charokee brand carpets and seats. Its like the surfaces had scotch guard on them..the water "smeared"..took a while to get it to extract. I see what you mean by too much foam too..our aqua pro was blowing bubbles out the rear..literally. lol

I’m a new subscriber. Amazing job, when you pulled that yellow goo out the floor mats I gagged. What would you recommend for getting oil out of a carpet? I suspect the previous owner of my car transported old engine oil in the trunk of the car and it fell over. It’s a 2012 Kia Forte sedan if that makes any difference

Hi! I've been a subscriber probably since I graduated high school in 2018! I was obsessed with car washes by hand videos and the deeper I fell into the hole we call the internet I found interior detailing. Your channel popped up and from that point on I was a subscriber. I watched your videos religiously as one does, but I do not have a car. In February and March of this year (pandemic/ shelter in place) i decided to start creating a small list of items I thought I needed to detail my parents cars. Now we are in October and my small list of things is now a large tub of supplies. I even made the expense and bought a bissell. This weekend I completely detailed my sister's interior with seat extractions for the first time (usually I do my parents car which is maintenance, but my sister's car deserved to be on one your earlier detail videos 2 words mom car) anyway it took me the entire day. The results not perfect of course but man they were drastic differences! It's hard work but it's a hobby I find to be destressing during these pressing times. The Amazon gift card would be amazing because I'm not making any money off of what we I do, but the more I do it the more I need to restock. I really want to spend the money to expand my arsenal and restock, but it's just not in the cards for me rn. I've never had a hobby before and let me tell you, it's great! Thank you for be the one that helped me find one!

I’ve subscribed to your channel around 18 months-2 years ago. I was living in Mumbai, India and wanted to watch cleaning videos. Even though I don’t own a car, I like your technique and supplies, using the ideas on window and carpet cleaning. The videos also inspire me to get busy as to not let my life become that messy.

Ive been a subscriber since right when the pandemic started. We got sent home to work from home and I've been watching ever since March. I even went back to the very first video and watched your progression. Very impressive. Also it soothes my soul watching vehicles go from filthy to sparkly. Its just very pleasing to watch. i have also started detailing and washing my own car with your methods and it has made a huge difference. So thanks for the tips and tricks my friend. Looking forward to more:)
