at 0:19 cell and battery have the same definition?

Comparing the water analogy, is the voltage always 0 after the current passes through the last resistor? And If so, what provide the electrons the "push" to travel from the resistor back to the battery? Why don't the electrons just stop there?

If all the energy of the electrons is lost as they pass through the resistor, why doesnt the flow of electrons just stop there and then?
