Weirdly enough, I’ve been listening to Tegan and Sara for about a week now non-stop, and that is all my mind wants to listen to. It must’ve known about the anniversary! ❤
The trailer for their show suddenly sparked something in me and bought be backed to this era of my life. Got a lot of new music to catch up on, haven't listened to them in over a decade.
Does anyone have the chords for this song? I love it so much and want to play it on my guitar but all the ones I can't find on chord sites don't sound correct???
Standard tuning, A string tuned down to G, capo on first fret. You can mess around with where to place your finger (I forget the exact fret) but you only play one string, the A that was tuned down to G. It’s all down strokes so don’t worry about getting it wrong, just get the right rhythm. I remember something like 12-11-0-5 and repeat, then some 5-0. That’s Tegan’s guitar, the second guitar I think is same tuning as Tegan but capo on third fret. I recommend watching her live, it’s just a really fun song to play.
It is definitely one that took time to grow on me but when it did, oh boy! The songs leading up to the end of the album really hit me at the right time.
