If she is open to all work, she will find something. With determination and proper planning, she will eventually settle into a career path. All the best.
Hi Anuli. Thank you so much for another wonderful video about Scotland's cost of living (in your case/family size). I always look forwards especially to your videos for detailed information about cost of living. You have shared so many valid points and how one should plan and process. And also, one what should think before making any hasty moves. I hope your channel stay on in the next couple of year! (2 more at least) I plan on relocating there but as of now I have to take care of some personal matters for another year then present my request to my UK based job (including my US managers lol) that I am interested in relocating with same job to the UK. (I have been working remote 3yrs now and its permanent now; well for my department at least) I always say too , to live within your means. And try to save save save as much money as you can for those emergencies and change of economy. Do without and stay away from that "keeping up with the jones" status. I fell in love with Scotland out of all of the European countries I have seen online videos and read about. Scotland feels like "home" and I haven't even visited there! Scotland radiates a warm and homely mood/feeling. And lets not forget its beautiful scenery and places to visit. After almost 3yrs of researching. I am always stuck and reading up and watching about Scotland. If it is God's will. I will be there in the future. Take care and god bless.
Hi Alicia, Scotland indeed has so many beautiful sceneries even when you are close to the middle of the cities and the hills/ landscapes are breathtaking 🙂 I wish you all the best and hope you make the move when you are ready🙂
It's called school direct. Yes, it's work while you learn. There are programs like "teach first" etc. They admit first class graduates in required subjects into the program and they are placed in schools from the beginning and have their own classes just like other teachers. The "student teachers" get a lot of support though and are paid unqualified teachers salary. You can check out this video youtube.com/@TeachFirstUK and this site below www.unitedteaching.org.uk/home/hsa_net/adwords/hsa_grp/146829929475/hsa_mt/b/hsa_tgt/kwd-10048850/hsa_src/g/hsa_acc/8097673674/hsa_cam/19678977552/hsa_ver/3/hsa_ad/648178392917/gad/1/gclid/cjwkcajwov6hbhbseiwavrvn6a94zp57fsn3v8kava5turb5tj2mct4iak_eiuupkju6zuldthvr3roco5sqavd_bwe?+teaching+challenge+2023&hsa_kw=teacher%20training& You can also Google "school direct" to see a lot of information.
Please Ma, can you talk about how to buy a house, what to look out for, what options are available for interest rate etc especially for a new buyer. Thank you
Rent depends on where you are renting and how good the area is. I would maybe budget anywhere from £500 for a shared accommodation or studio to £700 for one bed flat. Utility bills depend on your usage. You pay for what you use. I would Perhaps budget £1000 per month for utilities/rent and try to adjust to make it work.
Have fallen in love with your channel due to your eloquence and concise, no-frills, straight to the point delivery.
You made me fell in love with Scotland, now in Aberdeen.
Well done sis, I honestly now look forward to your video. Thank you for helping us understand Scotland 😊
You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for watching 🙂
Moving to Forres from Sputh Africa in 1 month. Excited and nervous, but your videos help ease my fears. Biggest worry is my wife finding work.
If she is open to all work, she will find something. With determination and proper planning, she will eventually settle into a career path. All the best.
So far so good, loving it here I'm Scotland.

@@menvicstudio THANK YOU!♥
Always spot on. I look forward to your videos
Aw... thank you for watching 🙂
Scotland here I come😊
I think I might live close to you here in West Lothian, Livingston. I and my my wife have enjoyed it since we moved here.
Nice🙂 I love it here in Westlothian 🙂
The advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Supply teaching is like an agency work but great for someone with kids though. No place like home indeed
Exactly, it's all about weighing the pros and cons🙂 I have chosen to enjoy the benefits of supply teaching instead of dwelling on it's limitations🙂
My Wife and I almost chose Scotland because of you 😄
🙂🙂🙂
Hi Anuli.
Could you please share more details on the teaching program you spoke about @ 5:40?
Is it like a "work while you learn" scheme?
Thanks.
