HEY so I've decided to split my music off from my main RUclips channel so if you want to continue following my music output subscribe over there :) www.youtube.com/@Luscent_music
The bridge of You’re Losing me is amazing, but the part right after kills me. That begging the other person to just do something, anything. To care. Whew…
I have always felt sad because Say Yes to Heaven wasn't officially released. So, when it came out i was screaming and jumping because of happiness. What a musical gem this song is!
The way the song ENDED all too well by miles. All Too Well had some hope for the future even tho she was shattered. Here she just ended the song with “my heart won’t start anymore” without ending it with “for you” basically saying she’s finally DONE.
No cause All Too Well never hit me that much cause I've never been in a relationship. But You're Losing Me killed me. Idk how she did THAT. It's probably the only sing that emotionally touched me even though I cannot relate to the song.
Say Yes To Heaven is actually quite old, it's from 2013 (Ultraviolence-era) and leaked in 2017 (I think?) It's most likely out now because it's blown up on TikTok this past year (a few of Lana's unreleased songs have, the power of that), though the released version is the original 2013 demo which hadn't leaked (the leaked versions were reworks for UV and Honeymoon). I think every version of this song is quite nice, so I'm happy it's officially out (and that you enjoyed it), especially since this, along with a few other recent occurrences, lead many to believe that Lana might finally release the unreleased album she talked about years ago (personally also trying to manifest this into existence)
I feel lile Lana’s verse makes the song a bit sadder. Like nostalgic about the relationship. And it moved me so much more especially now knowing joe and taylor are done. It elevated the song to me. Really beautiful.
Kylie is a god, Kylie is the breeze in my hair on the weekend, Kylie's a relaxing thought And obviously Kylie is a queen (or rather an impossible princess)
say yes to heaven is an ultaviolence outtake i believe and lanas been trying to fit it into albums since. i think it was almost on blue banisters (along with other scapped ultraviolence songs). and i always just interpreted the song as lana comparing herself to heaven and asking a lover to chose it, therefore choosing her. but i could be wrong lol i always assumed it was surface level
Neverending song is iconic and its been stuck in my head all week The synth reminds me of something too but i cant place it (maybe the soviet national anthem 💀) Also snorted when i saw you're losing me hee hee! in the description 😭
I love what they did with the Lana verse and joint chorus, but one of my favourite aspects of the original was the outro's soft vocals of "it's coming down, it's coming down, it's coming down, it's coming doowwwn", which I miss on the new one. I also think it's interesting that they made the sound in the second one less christmassy and sparkly, which is neither good nor bad. I think for me both have great parts that I would prefer were combined together in one track.
Have you notice something? A pathological people pleaser. Yet from all her ex, she please this man for so many years, might also be the longest. She might not love him today at the present. But she will always treasured him, somewhere within her heart. Now that she choose to be happy and letting go of that man, releasing this song as major release will be the same as not appreciating her decision to end her relationship. She kept this whole thing about this song small and relatively unnoticed. A contradictive she felt as an artist who wants to produce a song but also want to keep this piece personal. Even the melody she choose, the relatively general situation describe in the song's lyrics, you get a hint that ... Some part of her still wants to please this man, without making a heart break song so high in publicity and sound so attacking, so people don't attack this man and his personal life. Dont read the 'I wouldnt marry me either' as a personal experience. Read the whole lyrics as a literature. 'I wouldn't marry me either' is a line she created to erase impressions when we hear lines such as 'sending signals, choosing me, you're the one who's losing me' etc at 80% of the song. It is a closing statement, but not a closure. She will always try to please him, cause that man is special to her.

Losing Me is the new All Too Well. I hope we get a 10 minute version.
cant agree more

We all love "stop you're losing me"
Kylie comes back stronger than an *’80s trend

The “king of my heart” to “you’re losing me… my heart won’t start anymore, for you” pipeline has to be SADDEST pipeline of all time
I’d love it if you reacted to Hits Different by Taylor!!
That conan song literally sounds like it was from the 80s. Like it was plucked from that era.
lanas father just released a collab with lana called lost at sea xx
Sorry, I know everyone likes the new snow on the beach but I like the original
nobody's perfect don't worry
Me too, but this one is growing on me.
Same here- as a massive Lana fan, somehow I actually prefer the original
Yeah, the removal of the 'it's coming down' fadeout on the new version is a deal breaker
