This is really good, Great Job. I like the option, my big noisy pc for work in, with a small quiet power economy atom pc, for downloading, chatting, music and movies... all in one, in my desk!!!! To forward!!!! BUT. How can I connect a usb at the back???? The fans are front of the mobo back plate!!!!!
OK, but why isn't it symmetrical if it's made for 2 systems? I can't stand the looking at those fan mounts from the side...I mean 3x120 on one side and 4x140 on another?
Actually, its because one side has an extra cable routing hole but the other doesn't. the middle hole where most would put their monitor is just that in the middle.
Its not symmetrical because the power unit for the raising mechanism is in one side hence the three fan configuration on one side. I am going to use this space to hide some other add ons like an small eight port router and a power board so that all the cables can be contained in the desk otherwise there will be cords for the power supplies coming out of the desk
If you end up watching this video it is worth noting at this point that these are nearly impossible to find. Lord only knows why because I'd be up for buying one.
So many negative comments for what reason, so you can not have wider rads and push pull, what does that matter really, for example a wide rad say alphacool monsta 360 is more that enough to cool 2x 980's and a 5960x overclocked, so i am sure two slimmer 360s with pull on front ones and push on rear ones will more than be up to the job, great looking desk that i am actually going to get and turn into a piece of art. great job
I have ordered one! I think there is incredible potential. I am going to install a water cool system with two motherboards, X299 and X399. Two pumps featuring two colour coolants and 4 X radiators the Thermaltake R360 and 1 X RL 480 will do the job nicely. I will be mounting two power supplies the EVGA 1000W for the Intel X299 board and EVGA 1300W for the X399 board, running NVMe means I only need to install storage drives so this will be a great rig and upgrades in the future will be simple. I like the idea of building on the motherboard racks directly means I can test the boards and assembly before water cooling. Not running SLI no need with GTX 1080 Ti so I figure this will be a good system when all done.

This is nice and all but sucks for us multi monitor users that use monitor arms to free up space from not sitting the monitor on the desk. If there was area to do so on the back of this, this would be the move. However it doesnt, and for the steep price of $2,000. I see no reason to ditch my $300 ikea setup which is 6ft-7ft long and 2 ft wide. I would love this Lian Li setup to downsize and save space in the home, seeing that I wouldnt need all that space with the PC inside the desk. Just enough room for keyboard, mouse, xbox, and speakers would be just nice.

A beautiful desk but the idea that half your desk is empty under tempered glass is so stupid. Would be perfect if it where actually designed for single pc setup. Seems like they specifically didn't not give a crap about single pc setups which is beyond me.
I am a massive fan of their work which leads to my frustration. This has nothing to do with a a setup specifically for "me" and i am most definitely not the first person that wants all the above features available for a single PC setup. In addition to that even there other desk line ups do not compare to the feature set of this particular desk.

Have you seen the dk-04 model that's height adjustable but for 1 system? It's basically the dk-05 but a bit smaller. I like both, but leaning towards the dk-05; since it lets me have the fileserver and desktop all-in-one unit.

There is one in the back panel there is a removable hatch where you can attach a monitor mount.

if using 2 system set up most times one is the workhorse while the other is the proxy. so the looks will already be lopsided.
Now, is there any update for this system for the new usb ports? and for new cooling systems? does a 4090 fit?
If configured with dual motherboards, is there room for 4 water pumps? Doesn't appear so...
