Ok, I have several questions: Why build in a desk? Why in THIS desk, as it stays half empty? Why all these unnecessary fans? I love your external radiator worstation builds, but why in the hell didn't you integrate it into the desk this time as it would be a perfect fit in the left sided ATX tray? Why a see through top for a clear function-build? Is there a reason not to go with dual loop? Normally I see why it doesn't make sense but here I could imagine a real benefit... I don't mean to be disrespectful since you are a clear authority in professional watercooled workstation building of this tier, just genuinely interested.
This build HAS TO be a stock brokers order, no other profession unless a data scientist requires this level of horsepower and cooling (for constant use) except a stock dealer, would also explain multiple 3090s.
this video: let's just take all the best possible components for a pc and multiply them 4xGPU 2xCPU !!!! this is more powerful than the infinity gauntlet XD
Nice to see this setup but I wonder, why you've chosen an external radiator when you allready have so much cooling space inside the table. I don't see any benefits from that.
Hello, greetings YK friends. What a marvel of machine you built in this video, a well-armed beast ... I have 3 questions that I would like to ask you, 1) was there room for another build inside the LIAN LI DK-05F and to make a dual PC system? If that were possible, what would be the budget to make that dual system but changing the double XEON for a THREADRIPPER 3970X and, in the other construction, a RYZEN 9 5950X?, the two motherboards to use would be the GIGABYTE TRX40 AORUS XTREME and the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS XTREME respectively. I leave the other components to your knowledge with the criterion of always using the best quality components regardless of the cost, but I am only interested in not changing the processors that I already mentioned, nor the M / B.
@@V1N_574 -.- sigh...okay let me explain the joke. The bench is the case. If you mark the bench, you damage the case. No one likes getting a damaged case for a new purchase. So...thus...benchmarking it woukd be bad.
I honestly don't get it with all the space inside the desk, why just not put all these radiators inside it, whoever will own that build will just kick the radiator block underneath basically all the time :/ Happy midweek though and keep it up the great job
I like your videos but i have to say I didn't like this one. I would have put the rad inside the table. If this wasn't possible by modding the tray for the second system, I would have used 4x360 rads instead. Anyway, there's my like good sir and keep up the good work! :-)
Actually it is crucial with this amount of hardware. Even though a lot of the heat produced is taken away by the liquid cooling, a consistent part of if remains in the "case", and needs to be moved out, thanks to multiple fans. Also, heat tends to spread through solid materials, not only by air. This means that even the parts which usually do not get cooled (like ssds, hard drives, mobo, PSU) might get hotter, and accumulate even more heated air in the case.
Same build, same mistakes as before: 8 sticks of RAM instead of 12, no NVLink bridges, questionable decision of using 4 3090s... What is the use case for this machine?
One MORA is extremely poor for 4x3090 and 2 xeons, even yours 9x140. I have two alphacool 3x120 45mm and one 4x120 45mm alphacool radiators for 5900x and 3080, sequential loop. And adding the last mentioned 4x120 radiator reduced the water T for ~7-10*. I`m not sure why you use MORA here, when table can safely generically adopt four 4x120 radiators to the womb. I still believe you`ll need this MORA addition even with four 4x120. And yes, sequential loop of 4x 3090 and 2 xeons is not a good idea:( I was skipping the ending parts of the video, but could not understand the circle flow, but if xeons get water after 3090, I just literally see the last xeon saying "fucking thank you!" :)
Maybe spend a bit of that budget on more than one song on repeat the whole way through! Also the amount of ads was a bit excessive. Not a bad machine though!
I have a feeling he builds these for clients, so I'm going to have say that the client saw is on some other video and was like " I need that" and he could talk them out of it
I love seeing your builds, and watching you work. But i wonder about the practicality of the huge radiators you use that have to sit outside of the chassis. Also, socks and sandals is always a No.

Rich client wants it. That's the answer to all your clients. This definitely not a function build.
having the external rad array separate may have been a sound consideration for the client.

Gotta love the 45 case fans that essentially are only cooling the motherboard vrms and ram

Sry but for the price of these two xeon gold with 18 cores each you already get a 64 core threadripper.
Why did you go for external radiators? There's tons of room inside the desk for them...
that's the question we all want to know still
I had a question.
Given how the entire rig is being externally water cooled, is there a point to the 14+ fans in the system inside?
it still needs to move air over the electronics, not everything is water cooled. For example, network cards, mosfets, etc
Actually it is crucial with this amount of hardware.
