I love the way the stage is designed. All the mechaniloids look like they're part of an ecology, rather than just being there for ambience. Everything exists to help break down or deliver junk, or serve as security. We've come a long way from fish robots in the ocean just for aesthetic reasons.
Already this looks like one of the most intense boss fights in the game....and you're fighting a MOSQUITO
I don't know about your place, but where I live, mosquitos can hide in astral plane at will and move at mach speed.

I can only sing praise. As a guy who grew up with megaman almost always on the brain, still like that today and having played the games more times than I can count, I can feel how this game plays just by watching. I'm a huge fan of this project. You've got and had my support for years dude. Can't wait to see more of this! Keep up the passion for megaman x

The artwork and atmosphere of this level is simply perfect. This is exactly how the X series shouldve evolved, and your passion for the series is quite clear. The artwork again is almost mesmerizing, cannot wait to play the finished game!

This is honestly some of the BEST entertainment I've seen in years. No wonder Mega Man is called, "Rock Man" in Japan.

Great theming and setting for the level itself, it really LOOKS like a functioning junk-yard that's been taken over by mavericks. The fight with Neurohack Mosquito is very intense and I love how it evolves when he gets lower in health, like a desperate attempt to reclaim the upper-hand! I honestly wish that the genuine Capcom Megaman X fights did things like that as well. So great job so far on this amazing game, please keep up the good work, you've sure got fans like myself quite excited for the release. :)

I'm rather fond of the "banking shots off the wall" mechanic in the boss fight. Very good twist on the typical "wall jump until you're in line with target, then shoot" tactic.

If this game is never finished it will be a travesty! At least the ost needs to be released. It alone is a work of art.
this won't get cancelled for 1 funny reason: the game is too far in development. cancelling it now means letting years of effort go to waste.

If you can make enormous profits from mobile game like Megaman X Dive why should Capcom bother to make another X game
I can't believe how amazing a concept this is. It's everything bosses like Morph Moth and Junkman had going for them and more. Plus it's a great idea for the boss to be a minion master and a mosquito. A mosquito isn't threatening, it's the fact it's usually followed by a swarm that's more problematic. And more over, the idea of using a junkyard setting to its fullest and making the junk creations fight as part of trying to swat something dipping and dodging around your shots, I can't wait for this fight!
Kinda wish Capcom would take the Sonic Mania approach to this game; hire the fan developers to make a licensed title that fans have wanted for ages.
I like how the stage is more free roam than usual MMX stages....
That’s the selling point of this game. He just released an hour long clip of the game and you should check out the forgotten pipe works stage it has so many alternate paths and stuff the pipes are kinda like the clear pipes in super Mario 3D world

my first introduction to this game was back in 2009 when somebody uploaded a video of him speed painting the hydra armor for x (me not knowing what i do now i thought it was an original character and i wanted to draw him... mine wasn't good at all XD). fast forward to about a year or 2 ago i found out about this fan game and how it's in production (and apparently has been for a while now) i fell in love with it ever since!!! AND HOLY MOLY IS IT LOOKING GREAT!!! this looks better than a AAA game... this is a AAAA game! i dare say capcom themselves couldn't do this.

Shame on you Capcom, this is the real MEGAMAN X games we need, now i notice this stage added much more environment and new detail model etc. mini boss are much faster than previous video, very impressive :D

A freaking massive scrapyard is just what i would expect from a world like MegaMan where they're building robots for literally everything since 100 years ago.
Capcom needs to make a deal with the guys behind this game to get this game released officially. They should of course be in control of all the creative input but Capcom can polish it up and make it portable to consoles. Seriously, why is that not happening?! This game needs an official release and it needs it soon or I'm gonna go crazy!

Let me to express my fascination for this project, I have been a gamer for more than 15 years, and everything started playing "Megaman X", I played each of the "X" saga, so I know what I say when I say that this project is simply " perfect in every way ", is a work of art in itself ... I will wait with ances the final result, I congratulate you for such an amazing work .... Congratulations!! :)
This stage is cool due to the fact that enemies and background obstacles are old recycled enemies. Very nice throwback.
It's hard for me to imagine that this is a fanmade game. This looks so official. The music is right there with any X game too.

This has to be the coolest shit I've seen in the longest time. By far my favourite level you've finished up so far. The graphics and animations, enemy designs and the music all mesh together so well. All this combined with a hectic, insanely cool and challenging boss fight, and the crazy amounts of callbacks to previous games with the enemy and terrain designs, make this stage look absolutely stunning. I'm blown away by your amazing work so far, JKB. Keep up the great work!

I have been hooked since the first time I heard about this project and after all these years I am still freaking out over this game! I cannot wait for the day that this finally gets released! Man this game looks epic. I can't wait to get my hands on this. This looks like it has the potential to be the AM2R (another metroid 2 remake) equivilant for megaman x. So hyped man.
My only complaint is some of the mavericks don't look so great. neurohack mosquito IMO needs a head redesign and a different color scheme. I'd like to see a head redesign for warfare milodon. (as well as a new name, not too fond of the current one.) I'd suggest a full redesign of plasma puffer as well, but his current art work is okay I guess. The rest of the mavericks look good though and feel like capcom designs.

wow, I didn't expect my criticism to actually be acknowledged, but there it is. Mosquito's dashes have a sound effect now. Either that is just pure serendipity, or I had a positive (if not minor) influence. YAY!
I am only just coming across this project now, and I have never been so instantly floored and in love with the polish of a fan-made game before. No matter how long you take, I am gonna be all over this when it's finished. Not only is the general gameplay fantastic, but the spritework, the music, and even the themeing of this stage. The idea of a Reploid parasite controlling junk robots is such a great idea I'm mad at myself for never considering it. I know this video is old, but still.

Except MSP can't use previously dead Mavericks to attack you sadly. (In his battle, he used Magna Cenipede and using the charged version of his weapon will rain several Storm Eagles down)

If I had a voting spot, I'd award JKB Games the Nobel prize in the year MMX Corrupted is released. I see passion, love, dedication, courage, knowledge, art sense, extreme attention to detail, no compromises to achieve a vision, unrelenting determination, innovation, and much more. It was sane to doubt, I mean, a 16-bit style AAA MMX game that fuses the cool aspects of 32-bit into the 16-bit, keeping the fantastic MMX formula and getting it further in ways that fit and honor the masterpieces gamers adore, a harmony and cohesion in the music, style, art, gameplay "RPG" systems... so much as to go beyond the imaginable; it was safe to say it couldn't be done, no matter your spirit, dedication and intentions... but he and his team have brought the impossible to reality, month by month, year after year. It is unbelievable but I'm seeing it right now. I'm certain I'm not the only one to feel like this, the existence of MMX Corrupted makes me happy, joyful and amazed. If I get to be a Nobel prize judge, I'll nominate JKB Games for sure, it's unlikely other candidates would be as worthy to me. JKB Games is the hero we are both lucky to have and deserve in these somber times, I stand and pledge my faithfulness to the bearer of the blue-bomber-lighted torch and wish him to triumph over any hardships and successfully achieve and complete his outstanding vision... and deliver it to us! :D

Wow, that life drain attack! Mosquito is lookin' OP, especially when his health drops to 50%. Just a few more Mavericks to go!

Damn, at this rate, it feels like you guys could pull off what the MMxSF team did and get Capcom to officially sanction your game's release. Quality is looking real tight; I loved how the second phase of the NM fight actually had him get into a friggin' mech, although it looked a bit easier than the rest of his fight.
One bit of criticism is the bit around 1:30 where the mook fires a big laser at X from off-screen. If you're gonna have the laser stop in mid-air, you should have it sort of fizzle out at the end rather than just having the sprite cut short.

Idk why but I feel like Pheonix Boots would be extra awesome if there was some kind of skidding animation on X where he kicks a bit of the fire trail at the enemy directly front of him. Like a weaker version of Zero's Shippuga in X4. That way it would incentivise the player to get up and personal for extra damage.
Of course, Zero already fills the up and personal niche but other than that, I don't see much use out of the Pheonix Boots other than retreating on flat terrain.

The last four bosses that are left, actually succeed in taking over the world. Basically, each boss has an agenda, and the last four that are left are called "the final four". Areas will become dark, the world will be filled with parasitic mosquitos, etc.
THIS GAME LOOKS SO GOOD (AND HARD). I can't wait to play it
