I was about to say that the narrator did a good job with the pronunciations, until he mispronounced "pangako". He said it like "panyako" which is obviously wrong because there is no i or y in there.

I was born, raised, educated etc. in Germany, why should I see myself as Polish if I am not even Polish?

@@dirkbutendeich3334 I mostly agree, but I also think that it can be objective, some feel closer to some part of their cultural heritage compared to others. It can also depend on simple things like your look, if you look at Olivia Rodrigo's family pictures, you can see the heritage clearly (just look at her father), she also talks about how she and the rest of her family have grown up with Filipino traditions. I think that self-identification, traditions, but also the perception of others can shape your own perception. The same goes for Germany, where e.g. depending on how "non-German" or "German" you look you are (often) put in (seemingly) fitting a box, this can shape how you see yourself. I still agree that the title is a misleading.
