Thank you very much ma. I learnt baking online but was having problem with my cakes. So I came across this your tutorial one day. I tried the measurements and my cake was superb. And that was how I became a good Baker. As at then, I was using RUclips go and couldn't comment. I really appreciate your tutorial. God bless you.
I'm still a student but would like to be very good or even become a professional at baking. May I know your location please. Or maybe you do online classes I would like to be part of it.
Hello Bianca, sorry for replying late. I'm in Barcelona, Spain. If you aren't close we can do something online. Please let me know if you are still interested. So I'll give you a direct contact
God bless you mama. I stumbled on this and my cake and it worked magic for me. I said I must come and leave a comment here for others to know you are too real.
Thanks a lot for this video of ratio measurement. The ratio of all the ingredients is to 1kg of butter, but for backing powder you used 500g of butter to 3tsp of baking powder and not 1kg butter. Why?
Thanks for being very meticulous. 3tsp of baking powder works well for me with 500g butter. For 1000g it will logically be 6tsp, following the exact way I measured it in the video. Thanks for watching. Please try it out and let me know how it came out.
Not always. This measurement doesn't need milk. The consistency is just perfect. I only use milk when I increase the flour more than this given specification , so it doesn't get too thick, I soften it with milk
A milk cup is equivalent to 400grams. If you use 1 milk cup of flour, you use half milk cup of sugar. That's the way it goes, the sugar is always half of the flour measurement. I hope you understand
wow, this is great. thanks for the video. But please @graceful cakes, I want to bake a 8inches cake for my girl, pls can you list the right measurements for it?
For a two tier cake, I use 1000g of butter, a 3 tier cake is 1500g butter. You can multiply the rest accordingly following my explanation in this video
Thank you very much ma.

Mama you forgot milk, but am grateful for real measurements for each the Nigerian way.
I didn't forget milk my sister. I deliberately left it out, so the cake will last longer. If you don't want your cake to spoil early, omit milk.

@@Allgist10reduce Ur oven temperature

Pls can the lemon juice be added to chocolate and other cakes for preservative purpose??
Yes, it can
This is nice.
How do I qauntify milk?
You don't need milk. It's not compulsory
Can I use different type of butter to bake like different name will it come out fine
Of course
God bless you ma. You did not mention milk. Don't you use milk?
Not always. This measurement doesn't need milk. The consistency is just perfect. I only use milk when I increase the flour more than this given specification , so it doesn't get too thick, I soften it with milk
@@gracefullcakes ok thanks so much
Good morning ma I journey your class ma, but I have questions ma, if I want to use 250g of butter, how many cup of sugar that I will put ma
125g of sugar. I will check the milk cup measurements and get back to you, but the grams thing is more accurate
Pls ma, I want you to teach me how to use milk cup to measure flour and sugar ma thanks ma
Will upload soon
A milk cup is equivalent to 400grams. If you use 1 milk cup of flour, you use half milk cup of sugar. That's the way it goes, the sugar is always half of the flour measurement. I hope you understand
What size of pan will the cake recipe give you?
Exactly the question on my mind
Pls how can I measure floor using 240ml cup to get 500g or 1000g. How many cups to get 500g or 1000g.pls reply me...
I'm so sorry for seeing your comment late. I hope it's not too late now. 240ml of flour is the same as 240g of flour
Pls how do I measure the flour and butter, sugar for 12kg, 8kg, and 6kg cake
Thanks for this am so glad I came across your channel. Ma'am for this recipe, what pan size is it likely to fill
12 inches and 8inches pan. It was a 2 tiers cake
@@gracefullcakes wow! Thanks ma'am
wow, this is great. thanks for the video. But please @graceful cakes, I want to bake a 8inches cake for my girl, pls can you list the right measurements for it?
@@adeola9977 500g butter
250g sugar
10 eggs
10g baking powder
1tea spoon vanilla extract, salt & lemon juice
Sorry, can I use this same measurement if I want to use margarine?
Pls how do I measure the flour, butter, sugar and number of eggs for 12inches pan, 8inches pan, 10inches pan, and 6inches pan pls
Sorry for replying late. The normal practice is to fill your pan half way.
For a two tier cake, I use 1000g of butter, a 3 tier cake is 1500g butter. You can multiply the rest accordingly following my explanation in this video
Why not use the normal measurement instead of metric for the benefit for others. I might know but others might not.
What do you mean by the normal measurements?
Cup measurement please
