Phenomenal video. Spent $14 (including tax) on Amazon for a new interior handle assembly and took a total of about 20 minutes to remove and replace the broken one. I think I spent more time on the video than the actual work. My wife is pleased except for the fact that I could have done this about a year ago. Hey, I'm 78, things take time.
Very informative video. Definitely saved me time when i replaced the door handle. For 2013 nissan altima the Part # is: 80671-3TA0D. I got the part from a nissan dealer ($27). Be sure to check that you have the correct side door handle before leaving. Nissan initially gave me the driver side handle, even though i had asked for the passenger side handle. I had the broken handle with me and checked the part before leaving the parts desk. I caught the error before i left the dealership. It would have been super annoying to get home and have the wrong side part.
Excellent instruction!! Thank you!! This is the second time I’ve replaced the inner door handle (driver’s side last time, but I liked your video better). But it’s not that the handles were cutting, but that the plastic piece that holds the ball on the cord breaks. And so when I pull the handle, it doesn’t “catch”. Thanks, again.
This happened to me and Nissan said it’s 300$ for just the part! They said it’s cause Nissan doesn’t consider it a serviceable part. Looks like you did an awesome job
Also mine sliced my finger twice. The first time I didn’t realize it happened on my handle cause it wasn’t so bad like a paper cut. Second time it slice my finger so deep I was bleeding every wear at the gas station. Had to use gross paper towels cause the attendant was no where to be found. My ac unit panel pushed in on my car when I was trying to turn it on. I haven’t found a video on how to diy fix it yet. Any advice? It’s the same as your daughters car
How would I fix my driver’s side door not opening from the inside? I have roll down the window and open it from the outside handle. It’s a 2013 Nissan Altima.
Thank you for this step by step video! It saved me money and taught me and my 2 sons how to do it!!!
Thank you very much. You saved me at least 150$.🙋♂️
Thank you! They were going to charge me almost $200 to fix this at dealership. With your tutorial I did it myself for $27! I Appreciate you!!
Thank you for the positive feedback.

I actually bought both of the interior door handle from the Nissan Dealership. Yes, it is available from the dealer.
