I have never had a show hit me with such raw emotion as dark. It is nothing less than a masterpiece, an epic. It's shaping up to be my favorite show of all time. And I hope between seasons 2 and 3 it gains the audience it truly deserves.
I feel the same way. There is something truly distinctive about this series. It's been keeping me awake at night with questions about life, the universe (and everything) ever since I started watching it.
Acting, soundtracks, storyline, script, cinematography.. A MASTERPIECE!! Everything was perfect! This show deserves to be one of the best 5 in TV history.
I started watching Dark because I started learning German again and I only wanted to refresh my memory and make some language progress by watching the show, regardless of its quality, although I heard it was good. But holy crap, I got a lot more than that! After three episodes I was glued to my chair. This series is, without exaggeration, a masterpiece! The actors are great, the story is amazing, I was absolutely fascinated by all of its aspects. The complicated relationships between families due to time travelling with all of the twists that occured during first and second season made my brain explode. It is a shame that this show is so underrated, since it undoubtedly is the best of the Netflix original shows. I simply cannot wait for the end of June! Btw, amazing work, dude, I really appreciate your effort.

She crashed the relationship between Egon Tiedemann (the policeman) and his wife in the 50s. She also used the same phrase "You're beautiful" to her in the same way like her grandson Ulrich talked to Hannah in 2019.

This show is an absolute gem on all levels...structure, originality, mood, actors, music...just everything. Besides the sheer brilliance of it all, I think what hooks me more than anything is the emotional connection they create between the characters. When Jonas sees his father again . Wow! Your video is a perfect tribute to the series. Kudos to you. And great song. Zack Hemsey music makes everything better.
One of the greatest shows of all time! Genius viewing between physics & philosophy and many things in life also it shows the Genius of german people like the director & all of the cast members, so I Love this show till the end & we are waiting now for season 3 :) Love you Germany (:)

This is damn brilliant. Excellent work showing the dualities of character, setting, writing, shot framing, voice delivery, and acted performances -- all of which, as we know are top shelf. The edit is pretty solid -- it trips up a bit when you show the inter-spliced lines of dialog between characters or themselves, but it's a minor pacing thing. Very concise work in detailing the themes and concepts -- especially considering how wide and far reaching S2 gets. You've brought it down to the core. And damn, nice work pulling back the curtain a bit on how much goes into the subtlety of this shows direction and production, and how much the meticulous presentation of it actually affects the perception of it. Yeah -- I'm going to recommend this as a recap to people when S3 comes around. Hell, even post-S2 stuff for some folks, as there are some key things you connected that I missed (and I can pretty much quote each episode verbatim) are brought forth really well. Very cool. And you're right, if S3 is in the league of S1 and S2, we pretty much are looking at perfection.
