Okay I might or might not have an obsession with this show. I avoided it when it first came out, because it gave a totally different vibe from the promos, I thought it's just a simple crime show. Boy I was wrong! I can't wait for s3, and I'm really sad that will be the last one, but at least there's no room for getting gradually worse as the seasons come out.
Watching the first season, this ship was mehh, just another tragic teen couple, but season 2 gave them so many layers and depth and story... is it too naive from me to still hope for a happy ending between them?

This is incredible! I agree so much, season 2 really gave this ship depth! The scenes between older Jonas and Martha are very compelling, and that scene on the beach when he's wearing the coat... SO sad. Gorgeous edit, it also made me realise how goddamn similar Louis and Andreas actually are geeez

This is gorgeous! All the parallels not only within the show but with the lyrics, the beautiful way you edit, your gorgeous colouring! I totally agree with you - I didn't think much of this pairing in s1, was totally indifferent to them, but season two, man, it completely transformed how I saw them and gave them so much more depth in the most tragic and beautiful way possible. They just have such tenderness and purity with their feelings for each other, and I want them to be happy so bad. :-(

I binged the entire thing within 24 hours of its release both S1 and when S2 came out and I’ve been suffering ever since 🙃 I have a feeling there is going to be a reveal that Jonas isn’t Mikkel’s. I feel like they continue to romanticize it so much given that it’s technically incest that there has to be a catch. Also when Jonas goes back to see his dad and stop him had me SOBBING.
