Make sure you checkout the videos in this playlist. The video I did with my boss talks about what he looks for in a technical seller, and the Aspire hire videos talk about how to get in to companies like Microsoft straight from University. All the other videos provide various insights as well, like interview prep techniques. Wish you all the best on your journey! ruclips.net/p/PL7gs6v-vK75q1CiS3FPwI45bgPoneSBvB
Thanks for the great video Shervin!! I recently got AZ-900 and MS-900 certs and plan to move into tech sales. Have Bachelor in Comp Science degree as well but never worked in IT after I graduated in 2009. Around 7 years of consultative sales experience. Any advise on what Microsoft role titles I should be looking at applying? Thank you from Australia!!
You’re welcome Nick! You’ve got a good blend of tech education, consulting and certs, checkout this vid if you have not already on titles to look for: ruclips.net/video/8zBf-5EEIZ0/видео.html But in general be on the lookout for roles like Client Technology Lead, Technical Specialist, and possibly Customer Success Manger to name a few.
If you feel you're ready, apply - and if for some reason it doesn't work out, apply again in the future. Microsoft hires about 10,000 students globally every year.
