Hey there, Gear Show! This is some stellar work on upgrading that drill from 12V to 18V. It’s kind of like adjusting the warp drive on the Enterprise, just on a slightly smaller scale! It’s great to see your attention to detail and safety while handling power tools. It’s just as important in a home workshop as it is in a starship’s engineering bay! Your willingness to learn and improve really resonates with me. After all, even in the 24th century, we’re still learning, still improving. Looking forward to the next upgrade. Warp speed ahead, Gear Show!
Another satisfying video from one of my favorite RUclipsrs. I love that screwdriver that you used; I haven't ever seen one like that before! As always, excellent job on the restoration.
Nice clean up and conversion. Always a good idea to have all your hand power tools using the same batteries. That way you can merely swap batteries from one tool to any other... Thumbs Up!
The only thing I quite didn't fancy is the battery terminal conversion. It would've been nice if you could've kept the battery stock, or reproduce the body using 3d printing.
Nice! Did you sell off all your electric screwdrivers??? Or just trying something different???? Gotta restore more power drivers I guess..... I was SO waiting to see what you would do with the rubber padded parts you peeled off.... If there is a way to fix or replace that, I'd love to see it in a future episode.... Great job on this one.
Sir please make video on upgrade 12v coldless drill make more powerful or install 775 DC motor place of 550dc motor thanks and please upload regular video of restoration drill and cordless drill.
Недавно купил очень похожий Панасоник, модель EY6950 GQKW. Аккумы еле держат, немного можно пользоваться, но лучше переделать на литий-ион. А вообще, запас мощности шестерней - колоссальный!
@colinkinvig7670 it's the same. A 20v tool and 18v tool are the same voltage. It's just the way the manufacturer chooses to advertise it. Example both an '18v' and '20v' lithium battery will have a voltage of 21v at 100% charge, and a voltage of 12.5v at 0% charge. Therefore the manufacturer can call them 15, 18, 20, 21v if they want. They are the same. Dewalt 20V is sold as dewalt 18v in other countries.

Do you know how to fix a cordless hammer drill that hammer function is not working?
@@johnreyfrancisco8461 It may be that the piston seal ring is aging, you can try to replace it

belo trabalho parabens
“It’s perfect”
I really like your manual screwdriver😅
Could the same be done with a 20v battery or will it be too much for the motor to handle?
20v and 18v battery are the same. It's just marketing.
@@procrastinator1842 thank you but I was wondering if it was possible to change 12v to 20v
