The timing of the podcast couldn't have been better, especially with Christmas right around the corner. The story was truly touching and thought-provoking. I couldn't hold my tears when Luna had to resort to begging for money on the streets. It's heartbreaking to see how difficult life can be for some people, and it puts things into perspective for those of us who are more fortunate.

Fair play Luna, that shows the courage 👏 and the minerals to tell the world 🌎 what time it is. Please excuse the pun but it takes b*lls to do what you done wow. I'm nearly 5 years clean of h after 28 years of every day using whilst 17years methadone at the same time. Fk I've lived a crazy life, but I dont think I'm matching yours, not that it's a competition. Thanks for sharing your story, and thank you Cullen and Central Club. I enjoyed this podcast a lot. I was watching the Soul Crew round table the other day and every time I heard the Port Talbot Boys were mentioned and a couple of names came up and I was thinking,I know each name that was mentioned from the P.V.M. and being a couple of years younger I watched them form and they're clothes. The mad thing about it was,I hadn't seen one of the names mentioned for years but I seen him the next day and told him to watch your podcast and I told him he was mentioned and to wach it. He was one of those youngsters that had to sprint towards the water, that's what I'll say and very good friends of another who had to run with him lol. What Simeon said happened was exactly 💯 what happened cause I asked the guy I told about the podcast and he told me what happened. They did come unstuck and the were young. Sorry I went off topic there. Thanks to Luna once again and yourself for a really good story ❤💯👏🫡👍

How can you respect someone who presents as a female to a lesbian and eventually tells them they are male and laughs that the female was upset he wanted to sleep with guys. No thought for the trauma Luna inflicted on the female. As usual it’s the trans person that has feelings and wants protection but where are the feelings for non trans people.

      *_Transgender:_*
Psych today: All humans are born with biological characteristics of sex, either male, female, or intersex. Gender, however, is a social construct and generally based on the norms, behaviors, and societal roles expected of individuals based primarily on their sex. Gender identity describes a person’s self-perceived gender, which could be male, female, or otherwise.
Mayo Clinic: Gender identity is the internal sense of being male, female, neither or some combination of both. Gender expression typically involves how gender identity is shown to the outside world through the way a person looks or acts. Gender expression may include clothing, mannerisms, communication style and interests, among other things.
APA: Transgender is an umbrella term for persons whose gender identity, gender expression, or behavior does not conform to that typically associated with the sex to which they were assigned at birth. Gender identity refers to a person’s internal sense of being male, female, or something else; gender expression refers to the way a person communicates gender identity to others through behavior, clothing, hairstyles, voice, or body characteristics. “Trans” is sometimes used as shorthand for “transgender.” [...] Sex is assigned at birth, refers to one’s biological status as either male or female, and is associated primarily with physical attributes such as chromosomes, hormone prevalence, and external and internal anatomy. Gender refers to the socially constructed roles, behaviors, activities, and attributes that a given society considers appropriate for boys and men or girls and women
      *_Intersex_*
WebMD: Intersex is an umbrella term used to categorize various reproductive and sexual anatomy differences that don’t fit the usual male or female definitions. In short, intersex individuals may have chromosomes, genitals, or internal reproductive organs that don’t fit into the typical male or female category or may possess characteristics of both male and female sexes.
UN Human Rights page: Intersex people are born with sex characteristics (such as sexual anatomy, reproductive organs, hormonal patterns and/or chromosomal patterns) that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies. Experts estimate that up to 1.7 percent of the population are born with intersex traits.
Planned Parenthood: Intersex means you’re born with biological traits that are outside the strict male/female gender binary, whether it’s your anatomy, chromosomes, and/or hormones. Being intersex is not the same thing as being transgender.
Glaad: *Do not confuse having an intersex trait with being transgender.* Intersex people are assigned a sex at birth - either male or female - and that decision by medical providers and parents may not match the gender identity of the child. If an intersex person has a gender identity that is different from the sex they were assigned at birth, they may also describe themselves as transgender. However, not all intersex people are transgender. Most intersex people will have a gender identity that matches the sex they were assigned at birth. So while there is overlap, do not conflate having an intersex trait and being a transgender person. And, just like people who are not intersex, intersex people can have any sexual orientation.
Human Rights Watch: Children born with variations in their sex characteristics - sometimes called intersex variations - are often subjected to “normalizing” surgeries that are irreversible, risky, and medically unnecessary. Approximately 1.7 percent of people have an intersex trait, meaning intersex variations are not uncommon, just often misunderstood. Human Rights Watch works to document and advocate against all surgical procedures that seek to alter the gonads, genitals, or internal sex organs of children with atypical sex characteristics too young to participate in the decision, when those procedures both carry a meaningful risk of harm and can be safely deferred.
      *_The biology of homosexuality:_*
Research by the Stockholm Brain Institute, 2008: Using combined PET and MRI experiments, we found sexual dimorphism with respect to hemispheric asymmetry and the functional connections from the right and left amygdala. We also found that the hemispheric ratios, as well as the patterns of amygdala connectivity, were sex atypical in homosexual subjects, with HoM exhibiting more female patterns and HoW showing more male-like features (albeit less pronounced).
A study of 18,645 individuals from the UK Biobank, 2021: Our results showed that the PLS classifier was effective in classifying males and females, and that patterns important for classification were less pronounced in non-heterosexual individuals, indicative of a cross-sex shift.
