USB hub USB device not recognized

If your USB hub is not able to recognize any device (external hard disk, pen drive, camera, etc.) that you connect, then watch this video!
In my video "FIX USB transfer speed slow Windows 10 - • FIX USB transfer speed... ", in one of the solutions, I've changed the Policies from "Quick removal" to "Better Performance" for an external hard drive that was connected to a USB hub. This then caused my USB hub not to be able to recognize anything (another external hard disk, camera, etc.).
Sorry for repeating the same thing again and again. It is because it's really important to understand the actual problem in here. That is the USB hub only works for the original external hard disk and none of its other USBs working!
It's important to eject "your" hard disk that's connected to the USB hub. In my case it's the G drive called "Photos Videos" and your case it could be any other drive and name!

Remove the USB hub cable and "not" the "original external hard disk"! To be on the safe side, wait for 10 seconds prior to connected it back!
Problem is fixed! Now whatever (external hard disk, pen drive, camera, etc.) I connect to this USB hub works again!

just bought a cheap hub because my laptop only has 2 usb. Everything works just fine, mouse, pendrives, phone chargers, bluetooth dongles, but the keyboard does not recognize.

IMPORTANT: If you buy an USB hub that doesn't support the maximum speed of your external drive (ssd, pendrives, etc.), then the USB hub could become the bottle neck and downgrades your external drives. However, if you're just using it for mouse, & keyboards, then it's not as important. However, it's wierd that it couldn't detect your keyboard. Could it be that it wasn't getting enough power to keep both your mouse & keyboard at the same time!? Remember, all the devices need to be powered from a single usb port of your laptop!
