@@destiny2980 yeah it's their right but I'm not talking about agreeing or opinion I'm talking about straight-up facts. They are spreading information that is wrong and harmful
I'm a 22 year old pretty and confident female who is progressing and growing and whenever I've listened to Kevin samuels, I get an overwhelming sense of dread. I cannot imagine what he does to women who don't carry the same confidence or who have kids or who aren't what the society around them deems as beautiful. Kills me to think about all the lives he's negatively impacted
I’m sorry but Kevin does speak facts to those women tho. They go onto his show demanding men who make 6 figures or over 6 figures but tbh there’s nothing interesting or they are just average. They are average but ignore other average men because they wanna live a certain life style and be taken care of. So yes I agree with what he says.
@@theguyspodcast5782 I dont agree. When the first viral video came out he sat there demeaning a single mom who makes six figures for wanting a man who makes six figures as well. There was no advice only put downs about how she'll never find this and never be this and blah blah blah.
@@loradreamer12 right like it's truths, but it's harsh truths that he could say in a different, more helpful and uplifting way with some sort of nuance too
You help me feel less insane/misanthropic because I'm straight tired of the know-it-alls on all sides. I am struggling and just can't enjoy things or people's company and it makes me very sad.
Hey! It's a journey for sure. I used to be so angry and cynical and though parts of me are, they aren't as loud. When we meet others where they are, it's easier on ourselves and them. When we meet ourselves where we are, it's easier on everyone. Humans are gonna human :)
I really wanted to enjoy 'Leftovers' but to be honest I am not a fan. I am struggling to see how laughing and ridiculing the same people over and over can be fun to watch. Sometimes of course it is good to laugh at politics because it can be really depressing but this show is just not a great vibe. Also the topics are always the same. I also feel like they didn't take into consideration their audience. American politics is not going to appeal to some of their viewers who are of course diverse and from around the world. I don't know, as long as others have a great time I am not too bothered. I enjoy watching this channel and will spend my time here instead 😁
I wish it was more educational and less rowdy. I know Hassan gets a tough educational sometimes but Ethan and especially them together are not a good recipe for fair and articulate conversation.
There aren’t too many American RUclipsrs talking about global politics. The yt channel the Michael brooks show has a lot of episodes about different political issues around the world as well as American politics. It’s a good one. Hasan and Ethan are more of a comedy, intro level show, in my opinion. They’re good together for comic relief, though.
really enjoyed your story at the end! My Arab family is similar to yours as well, we always prioritize taking care of each other. When I stilled lived with my family and was on my period, my brother would grab my heating blanket, tell me to stay in bed, and make me lentil soup

Once, years ago, I saw one of your videos - and I distinctly remember how it made me so angry. So I left a hateful comment. Then a bunch of other people left a hateful comment directed towards me. It's how the carousel goes. Never thought that years later you're going to become one of my favourite RUclips people. You have grown and developed in ways I appreciate so much - I hope your audience (me included) have grown and matured, too and we continue doing so. Seems like a much chiller place now.
I really appreciate and admire your point views in this. It's just the labels lots of people including in the past have partaken is quite dangerous. As a History and philosophy enthusiast I say "Every cruelty and horror inflicted upon billions of people through out history all started with labels. Instead of understanding the labels and why it exist and the diversity of thought or perspective we can learn from it we judge and put labels as means to justify our own cruelty for we as humans have perfected the art of fearing what we do not know".
Whenever you spoke about your dad it reminded me of my dad. I’m 25 and sister is 35. We asked him why he wanted kids when him and our mom were struggling? He said “I just wanted a big family. I love your mom. I love babies. I loved the stage of onesies, bottles.” We asked, “did you think past the baby stage though?” He said, “not really we would cross that bridge when we got there.” My parents are very easy breezy.
These last few videos about the levels have been so interesting! Please keep doing them :) Would be interesting to hear about people you think are 3 and 4!
I don't really understand point of categorizing people the way you do. Like in what way do Hasan Piker, (A left wing streamer living in a massive mansion) Trisha Paytas and Kevin Samuels (an evangelical Christian who used out of context bible verses to justify female subjugation) all have in common? They're not at all similar in functionality, enlightenment, intelligence, or how much of a bubble they live in. This isn't even getting to the fact that in your video describing how the levels work you said that most people are on the same general level as all three of these people. I like the idea of trying to understand how people work through understanding how functional and nuanced they are but placing someone like Trisha Paytas on the same level as completely functioning people who just disagree with you politically seems biased and broad.
I’m not sure if you’ve seen other videos but I feel like it would make sense if you’ve seen her other videos about this subject where she actually explains the levels. Maybe you would still disagree but if this is your first video I think it would be very hard to understand what she means exactly.
Yes I agree. Perhaps I just don’t know enough about the levels, as I’ve only been watching for a few months. But I don’t exactly understand how any one person can effectively categorize any individual based off of moments in videos. Moments that are only fractions of those individuals’ lives. I think moments are all it takes to form an opinion, but I don’t think anything objective can be formed.
@@sophiajones9137 I mentioned how I watched her levels explained video and I've been a fan for years, Brittany's videos gave me support in a way that helped me get out of a really shitty phase I was going through back then. Which is why I want to understand and contribute to making the levels a more objective framework to understand others. After watching most of the videos on it the subject still doesn't make much sense still tho.
My gf is a hardcore leftist who loves hasan and believes anything he says. She thinks America is a racist country to this day. Our justice systme is based on white supremacy. She thinks all minorities are oppressed ( I am a part of minority group btw). She believes in all these far left talking points hasan spews out. When I disagree, she gets super upset and calls me a white supremacist. I am getting tired of this. Maybe because I am 29 and she is 22 and she does not really know how the real world operates.
I admire the way you pointed out that many people have inconsistent views. I think, as you said, consistent views come from introspection, self-challenging and nuanced experiences. Inconsistent views, I find, result from a lack of introspections and a desire to fulfill whatever emotion one is feeling in a given moment, or worse-to merely assuage others and fit in. Or to feel superior to others in a given moment. I was just talking with someone the other day how I can get frustrated by people who don’t seem to have consistent viewpoints on things. However, I realize that that’s something I have to work past and just realize people are naturally discordant and chaotic. I think people shouldn’t use that as a crutch and should try to move past that, and introspect a lot more, but I also realize that taking a “superior” high ground to them is also small-minded and silly. I just try to keep my own views in mind, be open and always question myself, while not being swayed by whatever is popular in a given moment
I am most interested in hearing you explain how they demonstrate that they do not know they are also in a bubble (a criteria of being a 2). Because I'm trying to understand how you label people who haven't given a clear explanation of their understanding of their role on earth. There are some people who have made it abundantly clear by their speech and behavior. But there are people who it doesn't seem clear to me because we don't know enough about what they think about in relation to themselves. And also, trying to understand who is a 2a/2c (whichever one is just below a 3) and what stops that person from being a 3? My understanding is that a 3 is now introspecting about their role and seeking "enlightenment".
I think something that jumps out about 2’s behaviors are 1) “knowing the answers” ......so, in reference to the Ethan and Hassan conversation regarding waccination, Hassan stating that it should be mandatory, he’s exhibiting that 2 behavior by wanting to use his BELIEFs, to control other people’s lives. If he were a 3, he might frame it differently. He might first explain why he chose to get the waxxine but understands why some people are skeptical. And since there is a large group of people who aren’t going to get waxxed, to think of another solution to get people back to work, kids back in school, etc. The emphasis would be on uniting the two (2!) sides. ......I’m not speaking for Brittany. These are just some ideas.
Yes I like how she also mentioned that hila and Ethan have never thought about their deaths period in her gary V video. How she feels bad for her because she hasn't fought about Ethan having a heart attack and it's going to hit pretty hard. She's absolutely right these people are so out of touch and & uninterested in seeking enlightenment. it's hard for me to watch them anymore

I am a fan of H3H3 but their channel and moral intentions have really changed and I feel like I can’t really conscientiously support them now. I can comfortably watch and listen to people even if I don’t agree with some things they say. Everyone has their own opinions and right to voice them of course. But recently I have an issue with HOW Ethan specifically voices them. This stubborn, unmoving stance to everything gives no room for open discussion or free flow of ideas. Because he just wants to prove he’s “right”. It’s a big change to how they used to present themselves in the past. As a result, the way they speak now can be to extremes and quite hateful or derogatory to different social communities, even if that’s not his intention to do so. The constant “you’re a f*cking idiot if you think this…” is just such a horrible way to respond, especially on a public platform. In reality, Ethan is a prime example of a sheltered man. He, and Hasan for that matter, are educated people that have chosen to be ignorant, and now blind to the very dogmatic approach they were against. Their fanbases, live chats and comments have become very harmful and toxic towards anyone who challenges their beliefs. It’s wild.
@@auroraborealis13579 yeah I can’t get behind it at all. Politics interests me but Ethan has put himself in a place that offers no growth or productive conversation about it. Actually I liked the channel at first because they didn’t take themselves seriously. Now it’s just one big platform to stroke his ego and promote hate. It’s sad to see.
I know if you say anything that challenges them in the chat they call you came star. I'm sure not everyone who disagrees with Ethan is Keemstar under a fake name
I agree. I have a couple theories. From Trisha to now, he changed. He was to an extent admirable in how he handled Trisha. But he turned into a mean girl with her, he is a mean girl with Hasan. And he us rude now. The experience with Trisha would be enough to make a person waaaaay counteract setting strong boundaries. But when I liked Ethan's scamp energy, but that was when Hila was co-host. I also think his medication likely has an effect... helping but changing him. I think with Hasan he went backwards. But I find Hasan irritating as he doesn't come across as a curious person but more an uptight fast talking rager.
excuse me for being very off topic with this comment but I love how you move your hands when you talk (if that even makes sense. I talk with my hands, too.) and the nails make it even better!
I'm not sure if you are the right person to talk about someone having or not having tools to work in difficult situations if you compare two men who has podcast of their own to a woman who worked male dominated industry, where women can get easily used.
Those men in yout life are such good examples of good men!!! We should encourage that spirit, and my man is also like that 💗 I just feel so loved.. And he also was very religious growing up.. maybe that is it
Why is hypocrisy something that you view can be shed and you become a perfect 5 that never does or believes anything contradictory? Like isn’t that the whole point… that we understand that we are all human with flaws?
The point is that life is made up of tiny contradictions but there is a depth one can reach where they have a better understanding of WHY they have those contradictions.
Sociology books I feel would help your levels tool I know you're out of the bubbles still functioning in the world within them to an extent but I think it would add to your critiques and perhaps allow for you to expand on your points
I knew you were going to call Dave Chappelle a 3, 4, or 5. I would agree, however, the way he talks and has talked about race and the Black community in America is very interesting. I feel like a lot of his talking points regarding race are limiting, almost like he’s still in the world where being Black is the most important part of who he is. And that’s true, in a sense, bc that’s what his career is built off of. But I just hope that he’s still focusing on race bc he knows his audience, and not bc that is genuinely what he believes is an important part of who he is and others are. There definitely are things we don’t know about him though, he’s a very interesting person
I adore your videos. Its always so interesting to hear someone talk, who isn't 100% extreme. I see a lot of layers in your way of thinking. These days that kind of thinking would be considered problematic...
Welp! We took 🌿 hits at the same time! Cheers Brit! Love your videos and introspection. I like… to think I’m a 3 aiming for 4? I have no clue. I’ve had a ton of trauma and adversity outside of the social norm. I don’t relate to many people but I’m still enjoying my life and focusing on my healing and health. Dogs help too. 🥰❤️
Ethan and Hasan are two drastically different flavours of infuriating, that, when put together, are truly insufferable. Also, I find it so bizarre how "the manosphere" can't see relationships as anything but transactional. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnyway, appreciate your nuance as usual (I'm being hyperbolic in my annoyance - I know humanity is a flower - but sometimes you just gotta' AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
This was a very well done video Britt! It just goes to show you that no matter how different you are, once self actualized, all different roads and paths of personal truth eventually converge to one truth… the objective truth. It is the great equalizer. Enlightenment is hidden in plain sight it’s accepting the polarity.
I LOVE that in this video you speak about not wanting a nanny but now only 6 months later you speak about how your goal is to earn enough to pay a nanny and a full time editor. Humans are constantly changing.
I don't want a nanny. I need one 😫 Sad but true. Thank gawd there are great nannies out there. Yay for changing ♡ Also: I only need a nanny if I'm single.
Yeah idk if im just not understanding your view on religious people that clearly or if you’re just making huge generalizations. You do realize not all religious people are super stuck on their beliefs to the point where they think it’s a fact right? I believe God is real, but I know there is still a possibility that he’s not and I’m not gonna go out and force my belief on others. Like I don’t care what others do or don’t, I care about what I do. And I know at least one or two other people that think that way too. We’re not stuck in our on beliefs, and at least I know that I like to learn about other religions and philosophies because I know that I can learn from them, and because I know that I don’t agree with everything in the Bible and what others have skewed Christianity/catholicism to be. And in that way I can better understand the world and “radically accept” it, and accept that even then I don’t have all the answers to humanities problems and why humans are the way they are. It’s just not as black and white as you portray it to be. There’s a lot of things you say where I’m like yeah that makes a lot of sense, I don’t take it as a fact, but I think about it and decide on what I can do with that information. And correct me if you are, I just don’t believe you’re truly seeing all of the nuances with religion.
Totally agree with you. My disagreement with Brittany is actually that a 4 or 5 can believe in a higher being. Especially since she says belief and knowing are two different things. I guess it's because she is talking about it from her perspective.
Have you seen this video? ruclips.net/video/uX_WU8_fw4g/видео.html 4s and 5s can believe anything they would like, but it'll never be like a 2 does. They would never believe in a God strong enough to try and convert others, as an example.
KS was just a contrarian, if this SAME girl had said “Well I also make good money, I don’t need his income, just want a relationship”. He still would’ve said a guy at that income level doesn’t want that because “Who’s going to take care of the kids if you’re both working” or “He wants a helpmate, not someone who’ll be in competition with him”. His show was not about helping people, it was about shock value.
Socialism/commynism in the 21st century. Making streamers rich who are talking about socialism/commynism. Ugh the karmic justice comment was vile. Using the word karma for people who think they know better is straight up hubris. Vindictive.
I would be so curious about the bad reactions to the vaccines while I would never argue it isn't true because everything exists everywhere but the one person who reached poorly to the vaccine who I know has a terrible eating disorder she's relapsed into and medical related ocd where her fears tend to exist around medical concerns she doesn't have but feels she has and since her second shot has been convinced she's suffering of hiv which she has been told by every doc she doesn't. She blames the vaccine for a headache even tho she has stopped eating etc. I have so much compassion for her. I'm just genuinely curious about it because this has been a trend I've noticed in some people with the vaccine. Other issues being pinned on the vax out of it being politicized etc. Also it is valid to fear the govt etc. I'm too tired to form this best but yeah
I think a humility and the wisdom begotten thereof are the overarching concepts here. You make so many good points about the importance of nuance, too.
When you talk about bubbles, the Dave Chapel conversation being a perfect example, it makes me think about language. It's like there is a hard wired structure in our brain built around language. As your raised as a child you might be exposed to one language or another but the structure is there. I've heard an idea that our ability to conceive if fundamentally tied to language. That you can not have an idea with out a word associated with it. One result of this is the language that you think in affecting the way you are able to conceive ideas and your behavior. The point being that a lot of the arguments I see between these bubbles are rooted in language. I also think that is why they seem to be getting more violent. I think the reason we are having progressively greater difficulty communicating is that we no longer share a common language. For some time now strict, clear, precise English has not been taught in schools and it's getting worse by the way. Now it has become fashionable to make up new words or to change the meaning of existing words. Two people can be having a conversation using the same terms with totally different meanings. What the hell does "gender" mean any way? I know what it ment when I went to school. I find my self wanting to pull out the line, "I do not think that word means what you think it means." I think this is one of the root causes of the fracturing of our society.
“Is it possible to move to a post narrative way of being in which we are concerned not with our historical narrative, but we are concerned with the depth to which we are capable of living. That perhaps what we need is not a narrative of a grand purpose, that is connected with the history of the cosmos, but instead perhaps we can get beyond a narrative way of conforming to reality - the kind of experience people have in higher states of consciousness where the narrative drops away and nevertheless they experience themselves as deeply connected and deeply at one with themselves and with reality and that this seems to have given their life a significance to it .” John Vervaeke
About the Kevin Samuels part, he refers to more equal marriages as “partnerships”, they’re simply not the focus of his message because the women he created his platform to react to/educate want the so-called High Value men. I agree he’s limited to his bubble though, he’s going off of Black high earners in his circle in metro areas like Atlanta, NYC, Miami. Source: my Kevin Samuels rabbit hole I fell into a few months ago lol, still watch his videos every now and then for entertainment purposes now. The original rabbit hole was for learning purposes.
I’m confused a little by what you said about how activism doesn’t work because of the sheer amount of diversity and difference of world views. What if I believe in certain causes, and I want to further those causes by participating in communities who have a similar goal as me? Isn’t it quite easy to fall into a fatalistic thought process like ‘well, nothing is going to work anyway because diversity is chaos and we’ll never all agree.’ I understand how some causes can seem entirely subjective and based on a person’s worldview, like the bodily autonomy thing you mentioned, but for example I still want women to be able to be pro-choice. Am I just being foolish to spend time trying to pursue that because we’ll never all agree on something?
Are we allowed to put work into the betterment of society without compromising our personal growth? That just doesn’t make sense to me. Will caring about people and the environment keep me always a 2?
I do animal rights activism and wanted to say that I do believe to know the objective truth that cows, pigs, chicken and so on feel pain and can suffer. By paying the animal agriculture industry to make those sentient beings suffer, we choose to hurt them for entirely selfish reasons (taste pleasure) and this is why I believe that every person who says they're against animal abuse should go vegan. I'd like to know, in what way is this thinking flawed. How can it be anything but righteous to fight for a drastic reduction in suffering of sentient beings?
i am not familiar with piker and klein, but can you really say they are the opposite of ben shapiro when ben is a disingenuous grifter. Ben will actually lie. Are you saying those other guys deliberately lie for their base? Just based on the clip you showed those guys to me are nothing like ben.
i'm not even high but: does it matter if it's performative if the performance is what makes them feel more themselves? does having to perform to feel closer to who you are discredit your identity? rather than our identity being who we are when we aren't performing, shouldn't it encompass who we are when we are both on and off the stage? or would that mean that identity is merely situational? ah geez now i'm lost
Are you familiar with Ayishat Akanbi? I feel like they would be a 5. You should check out some of their interviews on RUclips. I'm very new to you channel, I find your level system interesting. I don't know yet if I would personally use it in the long run, but for now it's definitely challenging some my own ideas about people
Is 4 the metamorphosis/ego-death phase? I think I'm in that one... After years of severe depression, stress-related health problems, and losing all my friends, I hope I get to be happy soon! Losing all my friends was a sign that something had shifted, I just genuinely can't talk to/ be around people anymore because they're so frustrating and banal, I have 2 friends left and they're the only 2 capable of talking about real things that interest me, but I feel like I'm "outgrowing" them too. I also have frequent bouts of existential dread that consume me, no will or desire to participate in society. I basically feel trapped by life, and like, what am I supposed to do with myself now? I've unwrapped all the layers of the world and I don't like it, I wish I'd left the wrapper on so I could send it back and resume being a confident idiot! But I still have level 2 "instincts" that I have to keep shutting down because they're so deeply programmed in, eg thinking I can't do/say/be something because I know people will judge me for it, whereas before I didn't care because I didn't have that level of self-awareness. Now I'm aware of all these paradoxical thoughts driving me and I can't get them to shut up even now I know on an intellectual level that it's all BS! If I make it through my metamorphosis I'm gonna design a cool chrysalis tattoo to mark the occasion!
Listening to your 2a video and now this, I thought I would grasp level 2 better, but I am still a bit confused. The level 2A that you have listed in that video and in the past are all people who I personally would not classify as good people, as they are, although perfectly understanding the system, exploiting that system but ALSO the people who live in this age and in it. Exploiting sometimes and for some isn't ofc the best way to describe what they are doing tho, but it feels that way. Do people like me, who morally judge others by the value system that we have, automatically fall into a level 2B or is it not that b&w?
Crinnnggeeee. A lot of men/women that go on the Kevin Samuels show get exposed for not observing reality to form their preferences and expectations of the opposite sex. The reason men and women gravitate to his channel is because they also have VERY DIFFERENT desires than you? A lot of people want to have children, have families, fulfill traditional roles, and find fulfillment in those roles. Boiling down his content to just putting down women for shallow reasons exposes your lack of exposure and empathy for these people. To add, maybe your love language is different than theirs as well. “You all lack nuance but you think you are doing this great thing for the world because it’s helping your bubble” Stop talking about yourself 😂😂
Hi! I saw couple of your videos and I'm interested in your "bubble" theory. It reminds me about philosopher Peter Sloterdijk "Spheres" trilogy. Have you read it? And are you interested in academic thinkers?
Hasan is like the most typical trope- Beautiful person but just shhh it's okay just stand there and be beautiful don't hurt your brain lol Saying totally with compassion as I fall completely into this trope often myself lmao
This was a good video… I still struggle with Dave chappelle’s gay trans rhetoric tho. You should look into his joke about Da Baby (rapper) and his scandal around aids and the gays. Another case of missing the point on purpose. He’s definitely not for me and still think that rhetoric is dangerous.
I'm new to this channel. What is this number letter system? Is there something I can read so I won't feel so confused with these? Or is there a vid breaking these down?
I'm saying it isn't what people are telling us it is. The Patriarchy is like a boogie man to some people. I'm saying it's a combination of so many things but it isn't a boogie man. It's more like social evolution. Our ancestors did what they thought was best, just like we are and we aren't perfect and so our solutions are not perfect. We can always change, but will we?
@@BrittanySimon I see what you’re saying and agree it’s a combination of many things that I don’t believe were actually intended to be harmful. However the concept of the Patriarchy is still very real, implemented in some groups more than others and it can be extremely oppressive/ harmful to women, sometimes without them realizing it. As someone who was married into a religious cult I can tell you for some people it is what people are telling you it is, so I believe it’s important to give weight to how harmful it can be in certain cultures.

I’m curious I know plenty of toxic people who live in bubbles . I accept all but It changes when they intentionally go out of their way to try and hurt me or mess with me . I stop taking it easy on them ,I start to I judge the fuck out of them , then cut them out of my life. is that considered living in a bubble?
We all live in bubbles physically. When people within that bubble interact with us it can be kind or hustle (or indifferent). We should react accordingly. We are social creators, coexisting. Remember: Be open but have boundaries ♡
In summary, 2s are people living in bubbles, 5s are people who understand all of the different bubbles and ways of living and had to get to this point of enlightment to achieve happiness in life. Now, you can also be a perfectly happy 2 in life. Reaching a 5 stage is not for everyone
Weird comment that has nothing to do with the content of the video at all but: I’m nonbinary/genderfluid (AFAB), and it’s hard to connect with my femininity rn for a lot of reasons. But that intro clip of you doing the most graceful bong rip ive ever seen in my life made me go “ah yes, that’s the kind of femininity I want” lmao
16:54 “I can’t talk to my mom because she’s too conservative” I felt that to my core. But we can learn how to make them loving wonderful relationships with boundaries 😉
I think its more fun when Ethan is making the spicy radical hot takes. When he has a cohost who is more leftist than him it sucks cause then he has to be the voice of reason and its just awkward hahaha. Edit: because he low key sucks at being the voice of reason.
Isn't that amazing!? I've been through that with so many people, one day they're my morning routine and all of the sudden they just sound so "in a bubble."
Depends on which Grinch you know but I was thinking the Jim Carrey Grinch. He is adopted by the people in that town, rejected because he doesn't fit in and realizes all they care about is stuff. He is upset they hate him but not themselves and eventually realizes they're just flawed but good people. He realizes he can be one of them and doesn't have to be alone. He finds a way to be back with the people and conforms within his boundaries to do so. He isn't cruel to them for "no reason." He feels justified because of what they've done to him.

@@theguyspodcast5782 I never said I disagreed with what he says.
@@theguyspodcast5782 I dont agree. When the first viral video came out he sat there demeaning a single mom who makes six figures for wanting a man who makes six figures as well. There was no advice only put downs about how she'll never find this and never be this and blah blah blah.

I am sharing similar sentitments!

I agree! It is soooo dry

Yesss!! Humans are gonna human 🥰

They're next!!!!
Man oh man. You really know how to put thoughts I’ve had but couldn’t articulate. I truly appreciate these videos. Absolutely love them.

I would love to her her explanation of this too!

It’s wild.
I really loved the Vape Nash era of H3H3. The politico turn left me a couple years ago.
@@auroraborealis13579 yeah I can’t get behind it at all. Politics interests me but Ethan has put himself in a place that offers no growth or productive conversation about it. And he us rude now. The experience with Trisha would be enough to make a person waaaaay counteract setting strong boundaries.
I concur!

This was a very well done video Britt! It just goes to show you that no matter how different you are, once self actualized, all different roads and paths of personal truth eventually converge to one truth… the objective truth. It is the great equalizer. Enlightenment is hidden in plain sight it’s accepting the polarity.

Thank you Brittany. You express perfectly how I feel about various topics but can't express as well.
Yay!! 🎃
I find my self wanting to pull out the line, "I do not think that word means what you think it means."
I think this is one of the root causes of the fracturing of our society.
Idk... growing up in a cult, numbering and judging people without knowing them personally screams cult to me.

It's never foolish to fight for your ideals, unless the ideals are foolish 💛

How can it be anything but righteous to fight for a drastic reduction in suffering of sentient beings?

i'm not even high but: does it matter if it's performative if the performance is what makes them feel more themselves? does having to perform to feel closer to who you are discredit your identity? rather than our identity being who we are when we aren't performing, shouldn't it encompass who we are when we are both on and off the stage? or would that mean that identity is merely situational? ah geez now i'm lost

I didn't even have a man there for me when i was pregnant, much less a period 😂 to be that lucky...lol
you really think there is nuance to chapelle or rowling? guess i'm 2b
The middle eastern goodbye story was a great finish
So what were Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity and those guys, were they 2Bs or 2As?
2As.
I'm new to this channel. What is this number letter system? Is there something I can read so I won't feel so confused with these? Or is there a vid breaking these down?
There are multiple videos on her channel! I think they are on a playlist
Are you saying the patriarchy doesn’t exist?
@@Ellekatmua absolutely!
2 wings of the same bird!
It’s funny you sit here and judge on your high horse literally, smoking doesn’t make you smarter bruh. I smoke too but I’m not over here on RUclips professing how I’m a literal 5 on your score board, meaning you’re enlightened lmaooooo anyone that claims to know people sooooo well and sit on their soap box, I raise an eyebrow to. You’re not the girl sorry boo 🤷🏻♂️
As you judge me, I judge you and so it continues....
It's not a score board 🤦🏾♂️
I’m curious I know plenty of toxic people who live in bubbles . I accept all but It changes when they intentionally go out of their way to try and hurt me or mess with me . I stop taking it easy on them ,I start to I judge the fuck out of them , then cut them out of my life. is that considered living in a bubble?
We all live in bubbles physically. When people within that bubble interact with us it can be kind or hustle (or indifferent). We should react accordingly. We are social creators, coexisting.
Remember: Be open but have boundaries ♡
@@BrittanySimon yes boundaries are certainly needed , thanks. ❤️
Britney your nails look fabulous!!! Love the color and shape😍
i jus discovered your channel but can someone explain to me what 2b, 2a, 5, etc are? im so lost 😭
Watch her original levels video she made a year ago. That will make a lot of sense.
In summary, 2s are people living in bubbles, 5s are people who understand all of the different bubbles and ways of living and had to get to this point of enlightment to achieve happiness in life. Now, you can also be a perfectly happy 2 in life. Reaching a 5 stage is not for everyone
oh, so it's a grift
Weird comment that has nothing to do with the content of the video at all but: I’m nonbinary/genderfluid (AFAB), and it’s hard to connect with my femininity rn for a lot of reasons. But that intro clip of you doing the most graceful bong rip ive ever seen in my life made me go “ah yes, that’s the kind of femininity I want” lmao
I love everything about this comment ♡
@@BrittanySimon 💖🍁
I don’t think I can take anyone who unironically uses the term “pick me” seriously anymore
Love your content it’s nice to hear real talk.
Thanks for talking to us today Brittany! I really appreciate it! ❤️
Pbnb’s thoughts below 👇
4:26 “if you only believe that the world around you dictates who you are then you are never going to hear me” 👏👏👏
5:49 lol Jesus Christ, Ethan and Hassan really need to chill out with the death from covid thing… yikes 😅😳😬
Lololol I just want to shake them and go “Stop talking!”
16:54 “I can’t talk to my mom because she’s too conservative” I felt that to my core. But we can learn how to make them loving wonderful relationships with boundaries 😉
Awe sweet little dolly. 😂
You’re amazing Brit!
The men in your family sound like sweethearts!
I think its more fun when Ethan is making the spicy radical hot takes. When he has a cohost who is more leftist than him it sucks cause then he has to be the voice of reason and its just awkward hahaha.
Edit: because he low key sucks at being the voice of reason.
Something about Hassan’s voice gives me a headache. I used to listen to him and one day I couldn’t lol
Isn't that amazing!? I've been through that with so many people, one day they're my morning routine and all of the sudden they just sound so "in a bubble."
Im interested to hear your opinions on where Bo Burnam sits on the level system
How come the grinch is not a 1 in the beginning? It’s he useless by being cruel to others?
Depends on which Grinch you know but I was thinking the Jim Carrey Grinch. He is adopted by the people in that town, rejected because he doesn't fit in and realizes all they care about is stuff. He is upset they hate him but not themselves and eventually realizes they're just flawed but good people. He realizes he can be one of them and doesn't have to be alone.
He finds a way to be back with the people and conforms within his boundaries to do so.
He isn't cruel to them for "no reason." He feels justified because of what they've done to him.
I know this is completely irrelevant to the conversation, but where did you get that dress? It is so beautiful
Thank you!!! I found it at goodwill😁
genuinely asking: do mask mandates violate bodily autonomy
Not always🥰 It's never black and white but only presents that way

I love watching you and mahogany pink!
I'm so confused as to what these levels are and its not on google halp
