I bought this watch and I think I've found my favourite watch of all time.
Based on this review I just ordered one in gold.
I just got the black dial with resin band because the black dial with metal bracelet is illegible. First, I planned to change the resin band to metal bracelet later. But after wearing it for a while, I think the resin band is better. It's not too formal nor too casual, which is great for my work as a teacher. It looks formal enough to wear it in formal/official events while also casual enough for weekend trip. Not that you can't wear your colorful G-shock with camo band in business suit to the classroom nor the all metal Edifice in casual t-shirt to party at the end of the day, well...you can. But this resin band GST-B400 can equally go well with both formal and casual events.
Only drawback, atleast for me, is that the buckle feels a bit cheap, it make some clanging noise and it is harder to put it in to my wrist (compared to other G-shock with resin band). I have just ordered a set of butterfly clasp. If that work, this should be my best G-shock so far.

I own this watch. Really enjoy it as it is thin and light, for a gshock, but it still looks good, I even wear it to the office in business attire. Pushing it, but whatever - is not a black plastic digital 5600 square.

I want both as the resin band model suits the colourway within the face perfectly whilst the Stealth face on the stainless braclett model is gorgeous.
Hooked on casio since 2015 when got pag2401cr pathfinder, bought this model 5 days ago and you are right they should have luminated everything not just hands.
Could someone please tell me the actual glass / face size of the gst 400 as can't find it anywhere... many thanks
12:13 a watch should be worn on the wrist, not on the joint between the wrist and the hand.
I just got mine...it´s SOO nice!! - costs almost 400euros here in Sweden!!, but i got it for 330euros at sale,, it´s worth it!!

Solid review mate, little bit big I think for myself but looks good quality nevertheless.
It fits very small! The lug to lug makes it much smaller than other specs suggest!
Don't connect to your phone. Casio will run tracking & data harvesting on you even when apps are not open with big long user agreements to agree too.
Need 20/20+ eyesight to squint at all the readouts.

Radio signal are from 5 countries, you are just forgetting there's two towers in Japan. Thanks for your videos.
I know it's about 6 countries. For all others Bluetooth would be better than nothing.
@@ATIWatchReviews There's two in Japan, one in USA, one in Germany, one in China, one in UK. So 5 countries, 6 towers, therefore watches are multiband 6.
does bezel get scratches
Yes it does. Stainless bezels always show scratches too easily. Hence why best stainless bezels are patterned so that you can hardly see them. Like my GSteel gshock that I wear alot
Which one is better GST B400 1AER or GST B100 1AER
B400. Much better and comfier size. The b100 is huge

GST B100 1AER is much cheaper though. It is an older model!
It is mineral glass, not polycarbonate! Polycarbonate is thermoplastic! There is no acrylic, plastic, polycarbonate or what else on any g-shocks glass! That is an existing condition for any g-shock, to have at least mineral glass if not sapphire crystal! Casio Classic have acrylic glass, but no g-shocks!
