basically what many pre Bayverse film versions of BB had him as talkative yet a go getter. this a bit a take that by having be talkative.

Not a fan of the cheesy writing, but I'm down to watch it. I wouldn't discount it as "dumb kiddy stuff", but it does lean younger and not every Transformers iteration needs to be grim (G1 was quite upbeat, for example) or groundbreaking. Like the Mario Movie, it's meant to reach a middle ground of appeasing older fans but appealing to get younger fans and get them up to speed.
Yup! I’m sure there will be all kinds of things in it that make G1 (or other TF fans) giddy when they see them (seeing Soundwave, Starscream and Shockwave was awesome and gave me that feeling!)

Not just a throne behind Starscream. THE throne. It's the same design as the throne when Starscream was destroyed by Galvatron.
i think you would discover that bumblebee isn't as big a fan favorite as you think. you also showed g1 soundwave when you, i assume, meant to show shockwave

if they had just made it like the G1 series, and didn't try and make Bumblebee a big deal, this would have killed. Now, it will be ignored once it hits theaters.

This is NOT going to be a good movie. It appears that "they" made this to be a dang Marvel movie (Ragnarok, GOTG, & etc.). They sooooo "kid-ified" this movie. The director is about my age & he doesn't know TF lore, but then again, neither does my best friend. Why use a 46 yr old song in the trailer, why not use modern music? Nevermind, just saw that the producers (the money), all 7 of them are over 50 yrs old. As long as Douche bag bay is alive, he will continue to ruin the TF franchise on the silver screen. Remember, douche bag bay wanted to control where the franchise would go & he said it was like his baby and it just felt wrong having another director come in
I remember 7 yr old me going to Toys R Us ('85) with my parents & them buying Optimus Prime for me & watching the cartoons. Optimus Prime was the reason why I had a career in the Marine Corps (FYI, Peter Cullen's brother was a Marine & modeled Prime after him). Pretty much all the movies after 1986 have been borderline trash. Good thing the comics (Dreeamwave, IDW, & Now Skybound) are holding it down. I will wait to see this movie via bootleg or when it comes out on HBO Max/Amazon/Netflix/Hulu. But, I will have to say that it will bring a new generation of TF enthusiasts & stray away from douche bag bay bots.
Soundwave is the only reliable Reception. The entire army would fall without him.

God this movie sucks! Sorry it’s not even close to what TF is about! For how much they spent on this movie it will flop hard! As it’s like the first live Joe movie with stupid comedy & lines tossed in from the toys & toon!
Then they smashed every toon comic canon they could in to this movie! Also it’s aimed at kids! Not us but my god!

@@xhairstargetmaster6338yeah well it’s a setting before war dawn, and if you are familiar with the franchise they have different types of continuities from comic to comic and show to show and this is no different. I’m a G1 fan but I’m liking this as it’s the first movie without humans (thank god). It’s also aimed to the new generation not older g1 folks which is a win actually because without exciting the new generations the franchise will dwindle. This will help push forward more Transformers products (toys, films, games - Transformers Reactivate is around the corner and I hope for a full Cybertron movie done day like in the beginning of the Bumblebee movie!). Anyways It’s time for kids to take up the matrix and lead Transformers forward! If you have a kid you can share in this newfound joy they will get from this and as a byproduct they might get introduced to other series such as g1. So it’s a win.
