Rid 2015 only shows darksteel and skylynx dying, not predaking. Remember rid 2015 contradicted prime in some ways despite being a sequel. Starscream just said the predacons were vanquished. He never said predaking included. The rid comics showing predaking was alive and on earth
I actually hate that Predaking from Prime is my favorite version. Because he isn’t a combiner. I love the Predacons being Cybertronian dinosaurs but I also love the BW faction and the combiner team. It’s like the Terrorcons, I like them as a hoard of zombies or drones, ideally related to Unicron like in Energon and the upcoming ROTB. Which is why I liked that Prime reinvented them as more Predacons. I like to combine different elements of TF into my own headcanon universe. I think the only way to reconcile all these inconsistencies is keep the Terrorcons as Predacons, Predaking as a single being that leads them, the future Predacons just took the name, and the combiner team gets a new name Predaknight. Alternative for the Terrorcons could be they’re Predacons but their team is called the Horrorcons, taking it from the Headmasters since they were only 2 triple changers not really needing a team name. Hoping Legacy TM2 BW Megatron gets a retool for Prime Predaking if not a new model altogether.
While I like the TF Prime Predaking, I never like he got the name of the legendary Gestalt, the original was a powerful treat created by the fusion of five deadly hunters, but in TF Prime is just a single bot that never got the army he deserved

I remember the "Call of the Primitives" episode that featured all of the "beastial" Transformers: Dinobots, Predators, etc... was one of my favorites.
He was a fucking Beast, he even give Megatron a run for his money the only reason he lost was because well he pretty much got outsmarted.
Not outsmarted, cheapshotted. He wiped the floor with Megatron and would've ultimatively killed Megatron if it wasn't for Starscream.

In prime, his actually a "cloned" version of his original self, which I found interesting and explained how he was able to have a conscience.
