I was impressed with how much plot Burton was able to shove in this without me ever becoming confused - so I see it as a good thing. Made me extra impressed with his directing skills. Or maybe that credit should go to the editor… or screenwriter. Regardless, it seemed to take great skill to pull it off.
I love that Tim went to 1000 on this one. It fits the character and the world. And I've waited for this movie since I was a kid. But there is A LOT going on. Not perfect and some but I had a smile on my face the whole time. Loved it! And don't worry Mel, he's not real, he's not gonna come get you 😂
Thank you for a great review. That's what I do Mel time and time again, I go by myself to the movies , not a weirdo, just nobody I know has my level of pasión for movies, and more often than not I can't help but laugh out loud, I know , We Shouldn't but what the hell, that's the way it is. BTW, so happy you enjoyed it, I am gonna see Tim Burton's latest next Tuesday. Your videos are the highlight of my day !!! Thank you !!!
Thank you!! Us weirdos have to stick together! And laugh out loud at the movies whenever we can!! Glad you enjoyed it too and have fun at your next movie!
I am in no rush to see this one because I have never been a huge Tim Burton guy, but funnily enough Deadpit gave it a fairly negative review, but you both said about the same things.
They hated the movie on their way to see the movie though so there's that. 😂 I'm calling this the Crow effect. It seems to be a thing these days where people are reviewing movies negativity before they even see them. It's sad but it's happening for some reason 🤷♀️ I did love the OG movie so there was no way I wasn't going to get some enjoyment out of this one. That may be bias as well 😂
Is You Still Gonna get the Steelbook for this when it comes out or just wait until the countless reruns on the WB network, wait is the WB still around?🥺
I enjoyed the whole movie overall! Loved Winoda Ryder and Jenna Ortega and of course Keaton is gold. My only negative would be the ending lip sync scene went a little too long for my taste, but otherwise flawless in my eyes. I do agree at least one character didn't need to be in it. Great video as always!
part of me wonders if the writers strike had anything to do with it.. like i wonder if they copied and pasted stuff from different versions of the scripts over the years? or if this was already finished by the time of the strike? i had a blast watching it though. i also wonder if we'll get an extended cut?
One of my good friends said it was a corny movie. She enjoyed seeing Keaton because she loves him. I have nothing invested either way, not a huge fan of Beetlejuice. I will watch it on streaming but not in theaters. We do laugh at beetlejuice when we go to universal studios though. 😂
Keaton made the movie for sure! He truly was the best part and just lit the screen up. But you'll definitely be fine waiting till streaming on this one. Thank you lady!!!
I hate most legacy sequels but I would give it this like a 7/10, Sadly, I think Dafoe and Bellucci are wasted. Too many storylines and I'm not a big fan of Lydia being a TV host because I think she would've fit better as a horror writer that doesn't spend much time around people. Putting all that aside, I liked most of the movie and it's better than most sequels or reboots.
Are you going to see Beetlejuice this weekend?
Just saw it with the fam:) You nailed it, Mel. It was still fun:) Hey where’d you get that cool Sandworm? My son was asking:)
Spencers!!! They had a bunch of different ones!!
@@mykillerpodcast Nice! Thanks:)
Somebody’s as high as Tim Burton was when he made this….
😂 The Burton effect!!
Great review Mel! Im glad you enjoyed it. I had an absolute blast woth it! You a fan of my buddy Bob?
@@dudewholovesmovies I loooooooved Bob!! He was my favorite part! 😂 How'd you know!

I can't wait to see this one! Going later today!
Awesome!!! Come back and let me know what you think!!
One of the funniest part is when Beetlejuice says f word 2nd time and it's bleeped because u can only have 1 f bomb in pg13 movies
Dude LOL it was so gratifying when he told that little douche to f off then sent him to hell hahahaha! I laughed so hard LOL
@@mykillerpodcast yeah same here that was one of funniest parts of the movie
I agree! We need a third one! Let’s make this a trilogy
Hell yes!! Let's goooo!!

Why should you care what deadpit thinks. They hate a lot of shit.
@@mykillerpodcast Yeah. That is why I watch very few reviews and usually only from channels I am subscribed to.
I loved it! The craziness was my favorite part! I love when he tells his backstory and the way the portrayed!
Right! That backstory was a surprise! 😂
Seems like ppl either really hated it or really love it. I haven’t seen it yet but I’m sure I’ll love it because I love me some Beetlejuice.
It's hard not to find some charm in good old Beetlejuice!
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is a good horror i get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star 🎥🎞🎃🕷👍
Nice! I was trying to think what I would give it and I think 4 is pretty solid!

Definitely! I don't like that they changed her character so much. But what can ya do. Lol
The visuals and characters were fun but the script and plot sucked ass
@@cecilyerker There was definitely a lot to love and a lot to be desired here for sure!
Kamala Harris cackle at 5:32. 🤣

@@mykillerpodcast Nice. Very, VERY nice! 😁
Ok but… how “out of your mind” are you here? 🤣🤣

The movie is trash and Jenna is overrated
😂😂😂 She surprisingly didn't bug me as much as I thought she would. Maybe because there was so much going on I couldn't focus on it! Lol
I'm not a big fan of her but a least Jenna isn't the main character. I think the movie is very watchable.
