VHS covers have some of the best artwork!!!

Stir of Echo's ... When I first saw it I watched at night with the lights off....that changed quickly as the hair on my arms stood straight up!!!! Lights came on and I sat with my back to the wall....super creepy and an awesome use of the soundtrack to move the movie forward!!! So Creepy!!!!

Happy 2025!!! hopefully this year will be better then last years dumpster fire of a year!!! Can't wait to see what coolness you get this year!!!

BILL'S ACTING SUCKED BIG MONKEY NUTS. HE SH*TTED ON "THE CROW" FRANCHISE FOR MONEY.

I left the theater trying hard to be forgiving, but after it settled in I can honestly say I didn’t like the movie. And after doing some weekend and week day movie watching - I watched the remake of the 1941 Wolf Man the 2010 The Wolfman with Hopkins, Del Toro, and Blunt and guess what? This new movie is not its own voice - it’s a remake of the remake. What did they change? The location. The main cast. The country/setting. And most importantly - which is the biggest mistake of all - the wolf design. This movie has the most non-wolf wolf/wolf man and I just can’t get down with that. I wanted it to be a modern day werewolf movie for me to turn to for my wolf-fix, but I’ll never watch it again. Great review though, Mel. I’m genuinely glad you got something out of it. Nice flannel! ❤

The only reaction I've watched for this trailer where the reactor thought it was boring.

The Howling transformation was amazing, more terrifying and more aesthetically pleasing than the other film.

This is the 1st review I've watched of this as I have not seen the movie yet but from the thumbnails I see, people seem to not like this movie at all BUT I have a strange feeling I might dig it. Love your collection!! Two major finds for me this early new year was, Deadpool And Wolverine. Also Alien Romulus. Those steelbooks are very high cost, but I found them for bit less on ebay. Very fortunate, & I love em!🙏🥰🌟

I seen this in the IMAX, and all your points about ti's is spot on. The setting is great, the Practical effects were awesome, the transformation and the gore, all practical. I caught on to the twist you were referring to. Two Thumbs up from me.

Glad you liked this one! I am still a little leery of wolf man movies because of the huge disappointment the 2010 Wolfman was for me.

Your stance in the thumbnail makes it look like you hated the movie lol nice! Your thoughts & opinions make me definitely wanna watch Wolfman again now. But eventually when it's on streaming. You know my opinions of course. Also, Julia Garner was very stoic in this movie. I kept saying, girl...laugh, cry, scream, do something hahaha! It's a very uncertain movie this year so far😂😂

Funny you mentioned, Spiders because I had four different tarantulas for year's, but gave them to my friend before we moved from Tarpon Springs, FL which is close to Clearwater Beach to Boise, ID which my girly Adina ( my horse 🐕 dog) use to try and get to them, probably to paw stomp them.... Anyway Great review, know I'm amped to see it.....

Nice haul as always, I didn't get too much stuff in December I only picked up 5 titles and they are: Ahsoka Season 1, The Mandalorian Season 3, Willow, Joker: Folie A Deux, and Immaculate. I'm in the same boat as you there's so many titles I want to get day 1 but I just can't. For an example, I want to get that Jackie Brown 4K Steelbook on day 1 cause the artwork is gorgeous but I can't right now cause I'm trying to cut down on buying every title I see and just buying the titles that are important to me. I hope it doesn't sell out anytime soon cause I really want that Steelbook but yeah I'm with you there, there's so many releases we want to get on day 1 but we just can't right now but I'm definitely getting those Kill Bill Steelbooks on day 1. I already have them pre-ordered.

I really enjoyed this new take on Nosferatu. Probably Egger's most accessible film yet. If you haven't watched his appearance on Joe Dante's podcast it is worth a listen!!

Mel, Wolf Man was fantastic. The setting was great, the special effects were all practical, the makeup stages were awesome. Go see it if you can. Nice additions to your collection, only thing from December you need is the Faculty 4k.

Definitely not crazy when it comes to being overwhelmed by the amount of great new releases and having to pick and choose due to budget or whatever and just not buying anything. I suffer from the same thing
