I am in love with overeaters armor. I have an unarmed character that I'm playing on as of recently, and he is set up alot like this build, but im half-bloodied. The tankiness is super legit!! Being on a team like you said helps immensely. Awesome build dude!!!
I have started FO76 this week. lvl 27 now.. it makes so much fun. Watching your vids motivates me even more. This build and the playstyle looks like you would play the Division 2 by simply running and destroying everything in your way :D. Love it. Keep up the good work
I like that term, “solo on a team” it’s accurate! That’s how I play. Casual Team all the way! I mean, I’d play with full team if I knew enough people IRL that also played. Most of my friends even the ones that play fallout 76, I haven’t seen them log on to that game in a while. They’re all burned out on it I think… but I only started playing last November. Actually let’s be honest, even when they do log on we still join a casual team together and go our separate ways anyway only teaming up to do boss runs, we’re all too single player mind set oriented. I’m going to try this build though. I use energy weapons a lot now that they’re fixed but they absolutely kill my stealth. This is kinda perfect.
I've got a character that has a build very similar to this one. I even use a quad tesla and overeater's secret service armor. It is very effective. The only downside is that it feels like I spend lots of time going after copper to keep my ammo stocked :-)
Another great thing about this build is that it pretty much works the same whether you are using regular armor or power armor.
Every first roll of my very first craft of my SS armor was overeaters with other various good star effects. I took that as a sign and play full health run and gun all the way.

Part of me wants to try this build for the tankiness, but I already grinded out full unyielding covert scout armor on my rifle character. It's a great alternative to bloodied and stealth for sure though.
Had a non stealth commando build for a long time with quad 50crit Railway.
I switched to bloodied uny mainly due to the high level which made it nearly impossible to level up once per day without the int boost.
If you're going for movie Rambo, you need higher strength, one-handed melee & archery perks.
also a bandana and harness as outtit
i think it relates more to the 'run and gun' playstyle. yes, I'm fun at parties.
I've been running something similar for a long while now, except with Solar Armor and a QE Railway Rifle, blasting enemies in VATS. Solar Armor heals up so much chip damage and saves me tons of stimpaks, it really adds up over time, but I've considered moving back to SS armor again since rolling SS armor is less of a hassle than full crafting Solar Armor.
Im looking for so long for a QE railway rifle, feels like its as rare as a legacy 😅

Well, most Enemys was arround Level 60 in these Video. Against Level 100 Supermutants it will be a bit harder...
Been running a very simular build using an AAE fixer and an AAFFR handmade with my vanguard set. Very fun
I’ve been running a similar build but with a QE railway and QE double barrel. Yes, it’s a hybrid build but also good fun. After this video I’ll make some adjustments to it
looking at moving away for heavy gun/PA build and was looking at rifles/sneak loadout and your videos have helped, I'm going to experiment with swapping perks around and using different ones as I don't use grenades or I'm hardly on a team
FINALLY.. someone has realised and put out there just how amazing Tesla’s are now since the energy buff patch! Although can I make a suggestion turtle? They seem to be far more powerful in vats so I made myself a build with full crit and grim reapers sprint.. the AP bar fills a lot because you are killing multiple enemies at one time.. even at full health you can just use a 50c15c tesla with grim reapers sprint and the vats cost is extremely usable. I’ve been using these for a long time now and amazed people have not caught on to it. Give it a go turtle

I also run a quad tesla on my fully specd bloodied stealth commando. It's my favorite weapon to use right now.

I kill mutants with one shot in vats with my quad Tesla, over 400 damage in the head
I had an almost exact build just like this one, but more focus on dealing massive damage on bosses. I only carry 2 weapons, a Q50c25 Railway Rifle for boss fights and a Q2525 Fixer for mob fights. I also have a full set of SS Uny/AP/FoodWR and for me this is my perfect build. I only use Power Armor during Rumble to collect the ores, but other than that, usually I just use regular armor. I never like the "Bloodied Stealth" Commando or S.Commando because you move so slow while I like to rush into combat/engagements.
I run a very similar build. I used to be a low health stealth commando, but after realizing I wasn't as paper thin as I thought, swapped the stealth perks out for other helpful things I'd been lacking. I still rarely die, but I clear mobs much faster. Bloodied Rambo Cammando FTW!
I love this build. It's kinda what I've been going for but a busy day I'll run through 5-6k rounds. I honestly can't farm materials fast enough to run it as my daily. How are you feeding this build?

Yeah, I was just gonna ask does demo expert still affect the weapon you’re using I know it used to a long time ago and isn’t there a way to configure that weapon to get a lot greater range with a tighter beam and less less chaining around that you could switch to if you needed to shoot something at range
Been using tesla with grenadier for awhile now. Q2515 or ts2525 or v2515, they are amazing.
i have a full health heavy weapons build that uses an overeaters t-65 with a two shot auto gl for crowd control and some heavy anti armor and aristocrats weapons, it is basicaly the tank variant of what you did and i have so much fun with it.
This is pretty close to my hybrid semi stealth rambo energy commando I run with the enclave plasma rifle
I was shocked when I saw the tesla rifle damage. Those arcs are beautiful!
Also running similar Rambo commando build, but it's also Lazy, because only heal with Vampire weapons and Healing Factor. Another difference is I use Dodgy with AP refresh armor for Dops.
QE railway rifle is also pretty good for this.
a quad railway rifle would compliment this build and the tesla rifle quite well
I have a character like this. Except I still play low health for more damage and it’s still rarely goes down even with legacies. It’s fun to play!
I’m running an AAE Handmade with Power Armor. Pretty sweet!
Just found out that Tesla 3 magazine boost the Tesla arc just like grenadier, you can combine them.

I have been searching for the auto barrel for the Tesla rifle and the flamer barrel for the slug buster but can't find them anywhere, I just need these two mods to complete the build. Where can I find them?
I'm already playing this style, but bloodied & I die a lot😂. I can't wait to try this out! I have a quad Tesla, and some other nice energy weapons I'll run. I will probably have a handmade too, as I think Rambo would approve 😁. Thanks again 🐢
Rambo was actually 90% of the time fairly stealthy - dunno though if this was meant to be based on the Rambo movie character

Seeing that this is a tank type build, do you think solar Armor would work well with this build? Solar armor is currently the only end game armor I have as of right now, so I wanna make sure I use it.

Do explosive perks still work with explosive legendaries or is it still nerf to crap?
IDK what the build would be called, but I basically want to run around solo with my gronaks axe and some type of shooting weapon without power armor and waste things. Anyone know where I should start or what build title and weapon I should look for. I'm lvl 79.
I thought Rambo would have used a bow, light machine gun and a knife. No PA full health build.

Being a new player I now only have 2 special perks and not all the needed cards and definitely not all maxed if only I had looked into what cards I needed for certain builds
If you have What Rads, then you don’t need Aqua Boy… duh save that point. Figured that the other day as I finally decided to start my end game build that will carry me for what I like(roaming and exploring) and for when those annoying pvp’ers show up.

Thanks for the video Turtle. Unfortunately the grind to get that exact setup is just way off the casual players ability.
I would disagree, I'm a casual player... On average enough time to do the dailies sometimes on weeknights then a couple hours during the weekend the only grind is the secret service... And even that with sunny and doing events it's no time.
I do something similar with my auto rifle build, but instead I have the grounded mutation and use a explosive anti armor rifle

I love your channel, i have a build I've been working on and I was wondering if you could try it and let me know what you think? I don't have maxed out legendary perk cards yet so I'm sure it it could be better.
This build have only one problem. From cards you cant make weapon reduction and i was suffered from overencumbered inventory. Just few PA legendaries and you are done.But you can have only two favorite weapons and other ammo you can dump in conventer.

Any chance for a non vats rifleman/commando. Or maybe a nocturnal build? Rarely see people taking advantage of the night buffs. The Night Person perk is highly underrated.
Imo its really not worth it when you can just run bloodied and do much more damage.

@@LtBlankman there is no build in the game that can output more damage than the bloodied version of any build.. while also using unyeilding armor. To each their own but I find it silly to use any other build when you can get better stats using unyeilding armor and output more damage than any other build in the game. People can use weaker builds if they so choose but being bloodied and running unyielding is the most powerful and efficient build possible.

@@LtBlankman how is it not fun to walk around destroying dangerous enemies? Serious question why would you put effort into a nocturnal build when you could use the same exact armor and weapon types but use bloodied and be way more powerful? We all know the game is unbalanced but why purposefully handicap yourself on a game that's already unbalanced and unforgiving. You know what also is unbalanced? The ammo system. And how much effort it takes to craft ammo and how much ammo it would take to kill enemies with a weak build so why not use a more powerful weapon and be more efficient using what ammo you choose. So I would bet that Noone else would want to see a nocturnal build because It would be weak and pointless especially when you can use a bloodied version and play more efficiently. All the legendary effects are just an illusion of choice unless you are bloodied and the only armor types worth using are unyielding for low health and if your high health vanguards or overeaters if you don'tcare about leveling or getting xp. and the fact that you'd have a pea shooter week build instead of outputting good damage. Make the game harder on yourself if you want. But the illusion of choice of builds in this game gets responses like what you've said. Like the goal in pretty much any mmo rpg in existence is to become more powerful and waist less resources fighting enemies. It's not some God complex that people have. It's wanting to output the most damage and play the game more efficiently.
Hi! I play Berserker build with very much same things! I run mix of lvl one overeaters leather armors with one addiction to Med-X (cause U want to use psychobuffs) and when i want to go for high rads i take hazmat suit and first lvl of ironclad to back to O dr. With high endurance, stims and dmg mitigation cards I can get into the West Tek with light up pipboy, standing and burst them in the face with my Ber10mmE250 smg (love that weapon from first fallouts and BURSTxd). I use mostly rifleman/commando weapons. For ops and bosses I have Ber Enclave plasma flamer with ffr and 25vats. Sometimes I get quad or Ber tesla, Ber ffr Handmade is great with Vats and without. BerRailway is superfun but not automatic for gnat fu one shots and its great when I am on rifleman build cause of FlamerPlasma. I use charisma perk for faster healing from stimpacks and trying to use only superstims but there is so much stims everywhere that I use them very frequently. Company Tea and Sweetwater mostly :) Berserker is super fun for me, I have played stealth Bloodied for ages and that build is like a relief :)) Pozdrowienia z Polski ode mnie i Żony (BaxTheSailor & Szynszylka). Oglądamy często i gramy ile możemy :)
And this lvl 1 leather armor is weirdly not breaking at all 🤷

Finally, I never liked stealth in fallout and just found it boring but it feels like the only fleshed out builds for commando are stealth or bloodied
You are right. It becomes boring very quickly to crawl around. Rather run and gun and shoot things up
I know this is a bit of a necro but how do you have lifegiver 4. Doesn’t lifegiver only have 3 ranks?
On that basis what would you use to replace the 4th rank?

Great weapon I got vampire 50 damage. Only big problem copper even if you do dayly op whit it
I do play comando all the time its a bit lazy but works if you dont do PVP dont even try PVP with comando build.
Or meybe try it only if you have something like t 65 with assassin sentinel assassin is needed for sure otheweise you get one shot by those heavy legacy weapons 😅😀

i've stopped trying to use anything but heavy builds...which si sad since I have some AMAZING rifles
but I just don;t trust people to keep NPCs alive anymore without me running around and setting them on fire

When you switch to the energy weapons, what do you do about your SPECIAL being for Commando? Do you quickly change SPECIAL cards or do you just use the energy weapons with the Commando setup? I'm still experimenting on a setup I like and not sure I'm doing anything efficiently. For example, right now I am a commando using unyeilding armor, with bloody health level but I am not sure I want bloodied. I don't have a bloodied Commando weapon, just the bloodied peppershaker. It's not my favorite. I think I want to stick to Homemade. Unless I can find another good weapon. I trying not to bother anyone in person in game and trying to figure it out here in chat.
It looks like although the Tesla was a energy weapon, the Commando special worked with it well because of the fire rate, not the ammo type used?
I'm just bored with relying so heavily on my stealth suit to do stuff. My levels grind so slow doing that.
yes it's commando weapon
It's no bother! Under Commando you can use any rifle with an automatic receiver, energy or ballistic. The Tesla, Fixer, Handmade, Railway, and Combat rifle all benefit from this build. The weapon itself doesn't have to be bloodied, unyielding armor and your bloodied perks do that. You don't need a stealth suit either, just crouching will work with suppressor attachment on your gun. I almost exclusively use my quad handmade, even in boss fights. Railway will take down robots in one or two shots. There's no stealth with the Railway rifle but it's fun to use!
As for leveling, max out intelligence, get herbivore mutation and just eat cranberry relish (for exp) and brain bombs (for more intelligence pts). If you don't want to forage for the ingredients, do cranberry cobbler and brain fungus soup.

I'd prefer to run as "Rambo" on low health with vampire-Fixer and perk that regenerates AP after killing in vats.

Great video. This is my wife to a tee. Pretty much exact same build. After the update today her quad tesla is breaking very fast. 4x during rad rumble. Is this happening to you Turtle?

@@meyer5258 plasma rifle is a totally different weapon
For my own quality of life, I would ditch "what rads?" for hacking legendary. Not having to do locking picking and hacking ever again is worth it. Rads aren't that big of a deal unless you like being in nuke zones. And I would get rid of aqua boy and put the point in strength. Just to add a card to reduce carry weight.
I wonder why Rambo doesnt use Vats. It would be much more powerful, like me😉
