As always great build! I agree with you 100%...Why no outfit?! The Inkwell outfit was very cool so it's a shame we didn't get Rip's! Maybe Bethesda will release it in the Atmoshop.
The seasonal theme should have all the seasonal rewards be themed and placed on the scoreboard. And not Fallout 1st locked (that lodge is too cool). The themed seasons should be full blown like Nuka World on Tour did, really good update IMO, added a bunch of stuff to a basically dead area. Why not have Rip Daring at the Blackwood lodge or his own lodge in the Mire or something?
why batteries included when using shotgun shells? unless i missed something shells are ballistic (bandolier). Also why run both thru hiker and traveling pharm when you can have one of those on a backpack opening up 3 points in str or agl
Love this gun so much that even though I’m a low health advocate I’ve made a full health solar build around it, man it’s so much fun just running and gunning.
I just built this today. This build with the Cold Shoulder is so Over Powered it has changed my game. I worry that Bethesda will nerf it after the season is over. I don't even have all the cards maxed out, and I was able to kill 12 scorch beasts in a row... all by myself! with the Cold Shoulder!... You can absolutely make them land with this shotgun. And less than two loads (16 shots) will kill the beast with some left over for the scorched that try to distract me... I'm full health build and I never eat or drink... until it's too late.

If you're going for a tank shotgun build vampires will give you 15% hp regen. Just saying that I if you're losing a quarter of your health to trash mobs it's worth considering.

My build is similar in some ways, but I use the shotgun up close and medium range and use the Nuka Cola Launcher at extended range … only need to add in the Inteligence explosive perk and the Perception range for explosions perk for the launcher to be effective. I call my build COLD CHAOS as it is wonderfully messy up close and at range!!!
The fact that explosive weapons really only need demo expert to be good is fantastic. It alows you to use them with pretty much any build and pairs perfectly with heavy guns. And it allows me to use the thirst zapper on my pistol build

Hi Turtle, I’ve recently made a full HP Shotgun build based on this (plus some of my own preferences) and it works a treat. I don’t currently use mutations but considering starting. I have Crit Savvy 3, Better Criticals 3, Lucky Break 1 Four Leaf Clover 3, Bloody Mess 3 and Grim Reapers sprint 2 and I wondered if I should replace Bloody Mess and GRS with the two mutation perk cards, or would you recommend any alternative options? What lazy build design. You are currently carrying too many fusion cores so you include Batteries Included in the build? Why would anyone else do that?? What perks should they replace it with? You don't say. Very lazy job.

Love your builds but can't help but feel Cola-Nut would free up alot of points. Can remove several perks like lifegiver, first aid and traveling pharmacy.
Great looking build, I never really played with shotguns until yesterday and now I love them. I was running around Guided Meditation crippling all the ghouls with Enforcer, I had dozens of them slowly crawling towards me so other people could get hits on them too, it was hilarious.

Turtle, I'm curious what leveling looks like with this build. I'm slightly obsessed with high-Int Bloodied builds specifically because of the associated XP gain. How much of a difference does not having a high Intelligence score make with this build?
I'm just curious what your motivation to level up is. If your low or mid level, sure i get it. But i don't get what the drive is to level up at high levels. I'm over level 1k and I'm so glad they got rid of the level up daily objective
One thing I am wondering: You are starting with low INT and then boosting it with a legendary perk later. Would it be viable to start with INT 7 and reduce one of the first four stats in exchange (CHA?), just for the XP? Or would that cripple the build too much?
Clicked this because I just got the cold shoulder in a bundle I bought for the coffee machine. You also answered my legendary perk question. I didn’t know if legendary perks gave you actual slots or just numbers like food and aid.
Ternal, check ghoulish you need to look at what ghoulish is actually doing nowadays I have big, big Nerf Goulish I favorite color doing a lot more healing with just a little exposure to radiation no matter what your armor or your rat reduction was but now if you have any kind of rad resistance or you’re in power armor goal is just doing almost nothing. Also, am I the only one that Berryman pads are not working for. I’ve had a guy by like 60 Berryman dance off by Radnor. I sold on because they don’t work for me. I stripped off all my part parts, all my armor and coughing highlights when I take a very meant to add it shows up in the status but I wonder if any man pad and they also want steak with anything anymore if I’m if I take her out cycle bar for a Pyro ball foul twitch Alfaro going to get I’m in buffed out rather because you know how to get a man, dad and Ed, but I stepped on before and now they don’t snack at all so if you’re using her off of goth CAL, you can’t also use of Barry Mantello at least I can’t I don’t know if that’s just not bother if they made a change I didn’t catch. Down with the lowdown machine in the ability to just completely respect on demand I only have one character anymore and I just respect him a lot get out and I’ve got like 300 or 400 points to swap legendary‘s, and every build I make no matter what I’m trying to do pretty much have five legendary special cards max now Those waves used to add extra per cards to my bill because they’re really isn’t a lot on her cards that are worth anything the legendary Burkards there’s only a few that are worth anything greater the sizzling style you don’t need because I just always club Piru poison card you might be what on every full Alfeld, I always just run what rads Ray J really just discovered it seems like they Nerf the shit out of ghoulish. If you have any kind of resistant sounds rad resistance ghoulish is pretty much worthless. I’m trying yourself damage yourself without radiation. Go stand in a pool with white rats are yellow power armor, whatever something with Brad well don’t use power armor that’s all that’s on fantastic put on from Denver have some radiation resistance and you’ll see that one Aransas doing almost Rothman for you so if you’re wearing corner, armor or solar armor or combat armor or even armor, marine armor, or something then go it’s just probably your friend but if you have one Ramzan, for instance, bad alone, is enough the algae in your aunt from a Mac stole ghoulish just more life goes away and I’m pretty sure it was nervous because I remembered ghoulish while we know our armor suit with 90% rate reduction and get a hold minimum of 3 to 500 red resistance and goes healing. OK I can use the radiation babe I’m out of Gulzar give you would be healing you you can stand there and just take a meeting with corner Moran while they’re killing themselves with leaves ghoulish and white rats, you would stay alive and they would die goal is to keep the rads off I mean, I literally would put on thorn, armor, white rats and ghoulish, and I can stand in the clubhouse Wildwood, golf, irradiated mean wild rats would remove the radiation. Fastenal ghoulish would use the radiation to heal me and they were die to Poison now, however, earring just white rags as the only poison resist I have negates the effect of ghoulish almost completely you barely can see the meter going up while standing in a radiation source and I tried it with other Brad reduction and ran resistances as well and it seems like any amount of rad resistance or reduction makes ghoulish almost useless so it’s unfortunate used to be a very useful perk card, how it only seems to work when you’re taking rathskeller going delegated anyway because if you’re taking rancid your accumulating radiation who is just doing you no good it’s not keeping you healed. It doesn’t overcome radiation. It simply heals the damage covered by radiation on your bar don’t believe me go test it yourself watch like everything I say nobody believes me but they don’t go test it, so yes, keep repeating things that are inaccurate or untrue
I have started this build after getting bored with my op RR BUILD. It is much more fun tbh. The only thing that bothers me is the kind of receiver to use. I would have thought calibrated receiver would be best for 100% extra critical damage?

Vampire flaming dual bar chainsaw is so nasty even without the slugger perks...with the perks it is down right rude and so cheap to repair. My go to when I start tanking nearly everything. I need to get my inventory under control, running PA with calibrated shocks right now because I am carrying so much crap and stash is full.
i've never done a full health build besides when i just begun, does the armour value of the armour actually matter? or are you safe to roll whatever so long as it meets the other requirements? i am too used to power armour and uny stealth
I would run gun through instead of adrenaline with that gun right you’re you’re you’re got a quad so you gotta offer number around Finity eight or whatever you’re gonna need like two rounds to kill each mob instead of bad thing you know four times you’re just not going to switch targets Specially when you’re killing small mom‘s fat man run rush you like girls and I’ll pop pop and if register the next target five pop, Arianna Escott fastest doing it manually, but if you do it in ants damage a fair amount

I recently rebuilt my character again and I left off healing factor to get the most out of Kim’s and realize that Audrina reaction isn’t that much of a hat on your house today and some damage when you’re spending most of your time you know Ed 30,40% health
Yeah, I do the same thing turn all. I keep my fusion cores because they won’t go and ammo box and I take a lot of weight away from the stash. I just keep in mind me and I always have the card on no matter one bill van running. I just keep a card on a storm on my character just like people used to do with ammo other animals that don’t have to now because they can throw it all mammal box McMaster amount, and it doesn’t get all require temperature in around on their character. I love that ammo box for my opinion that is the besides the stash, the scram stash that’s the single most effective recent purchase fallout first
You don’t need a belt for your chainsaw but you must be in first person without a belt and third person. Your chainsaw will be fairly ineffective how many it’ll do damage, but in first person it’ll do damage by three or four times faster.
The cold shoulder is a a lot of fun and when I was all I’m a stop in and had the right Parkers. I think I was getting like 200 damage on the gun and just under 200 Cole damage so it was doing a fair amount of damage and it does fire relatively fast, but I still think the cross shotgun is a better choice. It’s negatively explosive. The explosive range was never Nerf, like it was on regular shotguns, so you can still smoke at fairly decent range weather either gun is mostly Etosha kill and most banks but if you’re going to pick one weapon, the guy shotgun is doing more damage at a greater range. It was a lot of fun though to Jeff runaround fair thing and double tapping everything reminded me of the quad explosive I used to have before they Nerf the explosive range, but I would simply rather go with the explosion from the cold. Because I always have demo expert in grenadier.
Cold shoulder has me considering switching from invincible pa bloody vamp auto axe just cause im bored of just running into and through everything instantly
I miss the "Lazy builds" I'd like to see a reinvasion now that saws are so good. There are a lot of players picking up the game right now. That means a lot of players looking for an easy path to a competent build so they can focus on the story and events. I think builds where you can hold your own and also invest 90% of your loadout into quality of life perks should get more attention.
thats ready fun ammo build , you can get alot shotgun ammo for auto shotguns play the cold shoulder . i remember sawed off junky shotgun id use the extra ammo to make flamer fuel in the machine for my other charactor .
Been running a cqc build blades and shotguns for a while changed some parts to get almost the same missing legendary perks but got 90 percent ish with cold shoulder a 3star pump and amazing build such fun

All of the hero characters automatic have 8 in CH, especially Ash with his one liners.
Even more funny is the fact that the actor who plays Ash Williams is the Overseer in the Fallout TV Show

Just set this up, slightly modified for my level - it’s super fun. Killed a mutated 2 star scorch beats with relative ease :-)

The best thing about this gun is having a shotgun build without those 7-8 points in explosive perks. Almost all of them need it usually.

Well each point on Intelligence translates to 2% more experience
I'm just curious what your motivation to level up is. If your low or mid level, sure i get it. But i don't get what the drive is to level up at high levels. I'm over level 1k and I'm so glad they got rid of the level up daily objective

One thing I am wondering: You are starting with low INT and then boosting it with a legendary perk later. Would it be viable to start with INT 7 and reduce one of the first four stats in exchange (CHA?), just for the XP? Or would that cripple the build too much?
Recently hit level 50 and playing a similar shotgunner.. What order would you recommend taking legendary perks in?

Ternal, check ghoulish you need to look at what ghoulish is actually doing nowadays I have big, big Nerf Goulish I favorite color doing a lot more healing with just a little exposure to radiation no matter what your armor or your rat reduction was but now if you have any kind of rad resistance or you’re in power armor goal is just doing almost nothing. Also, am I the only one that Berryman pads are not working for. I’ve had a guy by like 60 Berryman dance off by Radnor. I sold on because they don’t work for me. I stripped off all my part parts, all my armor and coughing highlights when I take a very meant to add it shows up in the status but I wonder if any man pad and they also want steak with anything anymore if I’m if I take her out cycle bar for a Pyro ball foul twitch Alfaro going to get I’m in buffed out rather because you know how to get a man, dad and Ed, but I stepped on before and now they don’t snack at all so if you’re using her off of goth CAL, you can’t also use of Barry Mantello at least I can’t I don’t know if that’s just not bother if they made a change I didn’t catch. I mean, I literally would put on thorn, armor, white rats and ghoulish, and I can stand in the clubhouse Wildwood, golf, irradiated mean wild rats would remove the radiation. Fastenal ghoulish would use the radiation to heal me and they were die to Poison now, however, earring just white rags as the only poison resist I have negates the effect of ghoulish almost completely you barely can see the meter going up while standing in a radiation source and I tried it with other Brad reduction and ran resistances as well and it seems like any amount of rad resistance or reduction makes ghoulish almost useless so it’s unfortunate used to be a very useful perk card, how it only seems to work when you’re taking rathskeller going delegated anyway because if you’re taking rancid your accumulating radiation who is just doing you no good it’s not keeping you healed. It doesn’t overcome radiation. It simply heals the damage covered by radiation on your bar don’t believe me go test it yourself watch like everything I say nobody believes me but they don’t go test it, so yes, keep repeating things that are inaccurate or untrue
I have started this build after getting bored with my op RR BUILD. It is much more fun tbh. The only thing that bothers me is the kind of receiver to use. I would have thought calibrated receiver would be best for 100% extra critical damage?

Vampire flaming dual bar chainsaw is so nasty even without the slugger perks...with the perks it is down right rude and so cheap to repair. My go to when I start tanking nearly everything.

That enforcer perk makes shotguns op. Im level 34 and i killed deathclaw too easily. Good ass perk
i've never done a full health build besides when i just begun, does the armour value of the armour actually matter? or are you safe to roll whatever so long as it meets the other requirements? i am too used to power armour and uny stealth
after you hit over 350 dr u are good. Obviously it's not a magic number just a rule of thumb 👍

I just use a vampire shotgun. With vamp on a shotgun as long as you're careful you can skip healing supplies. I sell the stimpaks that I pick up

I use the chemist backpack so I can drop Travelling Pharmacy for Blocker.
And I have a anti queen cryo turret base set up with a lodge protecting my 5 cryo and 5 missile turrets that shred her hp 12% every 30 seconds
how does this build deal with nuked areas? does the healing from rads negate it? do you have to wear power armor? hazmat suit?

I would run gun through instead of adrenaline with that gun right you’re you’re you’re got a quad so you gotta offer number around Finity eight or whatever you’re gonna need like two rounds to kill each mob instead of bad thing you know four times you’re just not going to switch targets Specially when you’re killing small mom‘s fat man run rush you like girls and I’ll pop pop and if register the next target five pop, Arianna Escott fastest doing it manually, but if you do it in ants damage a fair amount

As someone who ignores all VATS, this build is extremely do-able without all the VATS perks.
I recently rebuilt my character again and I left off healing factor to get the most out of Kim’s and realize that Audrina reaction isn’t that much of a hat on your house today and some damage when you’re spending most of your time you know Ed 30,40% health
Yeah, I do the same thing turn all. I keep my fusion cores because they won’t go and ammo box and I take a lot of weight away from the stash. I just keep in mind me and I always have the card on no matter one bill van running. I just keep a card on a storm on my character just like people used to do with ammo other animals that don’t have to now because they can throw it all mammal box McMaster amount, and it doesn’t get all require temperature in around on their character. I love that ammo box for my opinion that is the besides the stash, the scram stash that’s the single most effective recent purchase fallout first

You don’t need a belt for your chainsaw but you must be in first person without a belt and third person. Your chainsaw will be fairly ineffective how many it’ll do damage, but in first person it’ll do damage by three or four times faster.
Why doesn't anyone ever show the base stats before legendary perks for the new players?
What sort of merit would you put behind Luck of the Draw? Free reloads seem like such a good reason to run.

The cold shoulder is a a lot of fun and when I was all I’m a stop in and had the right Parkers. I think I was getting like 200 damage on the gun and just under 200 Cole damage so it was doing a fair amount of damage and it does fire relatively fast, but I still think the cross shotgun is a better choice. It’s negatively explosive. The explosive range was never Nerf, like it was on regular shotguns, so you can still smoke at fairly decent range weather either gun is mostly Etosha kill and most banks but if you’re going to pick one weapon, the guy shotgun is doing more damage at a greater range. It was a lot of fun though to Jeff runaround fair thing and double tapping everything reminded me of the quad explosive I used to have before they Nerf the explosive range, but I would simply rather go with the explosion from the cold. Because I always have demo expert in grenadier.

I miss the "Lazy builds" I'd like to see a reinvasion now that saws are so good. There are a lot of players picking up the game right now. That means a lot of players looking for an easy path to a competent build so they can focus on the story and events. I think builds where you can hold your own and also invest 90% of your loadout into quality of life perks should get more attention.
Do you find that the high capacity backpack mod is worth taking instead of something that doesnt debuff your defenses by 25%?

in the past it was showing total damage i don't really know why they changed it
thats ready fun ammo build , you can get alot shotgun ammo for auto shotguns play the cold shoulder . i remember sawed off junky shotgun id use the extra ammo to make flamer fuel in the machine for my other charactor .

Been running a cqc build blades and shotguns for a while changed some parts to get almost the same missing legendary perks but got 90 percent ish with cold shoulder a 3star pump and amazing build such fun
