This is actually really cool, but i definitely see my fellow partners going balls to the wall and breaking my wrist. Its rare that ppl have the level of care needed to execute these moves safely so as not to destroy their partners' livelihood and quality of life.

Yeah, I love taking and getting a wrist lock all over the place. The thing is you get guys that say you’re a cheater I get that all the time too just because they lose. It’s not a match. It’s practice

I'm not sure how well this would work if someone performs the escape better. When I perform this kind of back escape, I have both of my hands around wrist of the nearest arm of my opponent, both in C-grip orientation (which is how the depicted escape starts).
The difference is, I don't (and you shouldn't) let go of the opponent's near arm that early with either hand. Extend your far arm (keeping both hands at the wrist) to stiff-arm your opponent as you rotate toward them (your near arm will be extending as well, but it won't be fully extended). Once you are rotated close to being on your side, you can slide your near arm down your opponent's arm to get your elbow to the mat, while still using your near arm to push away (usually having a grip somewhere around the elbow or above). Keep rotating and extending your arms to complete the escape.
