Do you like the first scenario of Mutant Genesis?

I do like it, after I switch out Mystique for someone less annoying 😂

I’ve done the first 3 scenarios so far, and I am having a blast with this campaign. Cannot wait to finish it up this week!

Great start! Kitty is the beeeeeeeest
I have the most pedantic of rules notes lol: for Desperate Defense you do still technically need to exhaust to play it since it says “when you defend”. You need to already be defending in order to play it. So either by playing a Quick Shift or by exhausting to defend. Then of course after you end up taking no damage you would ready.
The only reason that would EVER matter is if there were some boost effect that required you to exhaust to do something. You wouldn’t be able to because you would still be exhausted from defending. So, like I said, super pedantic, won’t likely ever matter, but I couldn’t help myself 😂

Gosh, probably happened though at some point. .. but that is a good to point out. One day I will get the rules of this game.... haha

@@D20Woodworking no you’re fine lol. I totally see why you’d just skip that step
      Altogether, I was just being silly/picky 😂

@@D20Woodworking actually, if anything it would work to your benefit. If you were already exhausted from defending and a boost made you exhaust, it wouldn’t matter. And then Desperate defense would ready you after

Important to be picky or I will keep messing up! Haha

Great game. I got into the game about a month ago and have been enjoying all of your videos. Do you post your decklists?

With that last powerful punch you used, if it didn't defeat Sabretooth you would have actually been forced to flip to solid after your attack, but before Sabretooth's attack!
Powerful Punch is actually a card you want to use while you start in solid form. So you perform your attack, flip (optionally but you clearly want to flip), you are now phased and defending, take 0 damage and you flip back to solid after the enemy attack. This sequence of Powerful Punch making you flip twice was confirmed by Alex. You can find this ruling on the ruling section of HallofHeroes.
As for the order of Flow like Water and the event you play, I believe Flow like water must trigger after you fully resolve the event. It's just like "after you defend"; that is after you fully resolve the incoming attack and not after you become the defender, similarly "after you play" is after you fully resolve the card you are playing, not just after you start playing the card.
BTW: at 22:20 you shuffled a Mystique card in your deck, but you didn't read the part that says it surges. All mystique card that shuffle into your deck have surge. That apart beating Sabretooth in so few rounds (while also clearing the first 2 schemes) is quite impressive.

Good things! Thanks for pointing that out. And my bad on the mystique card! Thanks for watching!!!
