Also why does Charizard being invasive make so much sense lorewise? It seems like the type of Pokémon to invade other pókemons territory
I hope Diancie gets her own quest in the game, seeing as she’s the “Queen” of Carbinks, and she’s made out of gems, It’d fit the theme :D

@@Panthere-sw9ju Kalos. Theres no way to get it naturally when playing xy but the lore says it just appeared and is the queen of carbink. There was a movie dedicated to it

@@Panthere-sw9ju Lore wise, Diancie is a rare mutation of Carbink, one of the two pokemon heavily associated with gems. So, with the Terastal phenomenon being so heavily associated with crystals, the mythical all about them seems like a good fit

I bet the multi colored tera raid dens are probably a random tera type. I can imagine you get them late game, while through most of your early play through the dens will be fixed to one particular tera type. The multi colored raid dens are probably going to be the ones you want to farm. Black are probably just promoted pokemon like Charizard

I wonder how terra types are gonna work with breeding? Will it be random, passed down or will the offspring just not have a type?

It'll probably be 50/50 chance if the female parent has two types for the offsprings tera type or offspring with 100% same tera type if female parent was for example pure fire type. I'm basing it off of wild pokemon tera type chances. It seems like they want to make different tera types (types not the same as the Pokemons og type) raid exclusive, but there is also the chance they may base it off of the parents tera type if one of the parents holds a specific item. Tera type of the offspring could also be based exclusively on the male, female or both parents tera type if pokemon company wants to take that route.
I based tera type breeding chances off of the female parent because with breeding the female dictates a lot with the offspring, but we won't truly know how it works till the games come out.
I'd imagine as another said it will be chance based? Masudo method is likely to be in too so maybe a destiny knot will have more use now?
I think it will work like dynamax pokemon.

Ah bummer about only being able to catch one special charizard. I was going to suggest catching a bunch of them so we could give them away to the people who will receive the game on Christmas. Hopefully they'll redo the event at a later date.

I wonder if there will be a way to breed for tera types. I'd love to have a fighting tera type Hisuian Zoroark and really give dark type switch-in's a surprise.

So I think they definitely should’ve adjusted the hat position for some Pokémon and I think for Charizard it should’ve been his tail. Just picture his tail having a fountain come out of it for water or even this dragon head- definitely would’ve fed better into this whole “Pokémon but with my favorite type” fantasy better.
If I can hunt a shiny delphox in tera raids I will flip tables. Will not leave these crystals. I hope you're right with this! Thank you for always doing these fantastic and on point videos! 😊

I think the giant chasm in the middle of the map is a portal to the past/future(depending on what version you are playing) and I think that will be where we catch the pardox forms

I can see SOO many legendaries linked to this lore. Little buddy celebi hasn't gotten any love in a while and this is a perfect opportunity. I can see some palkia and dialga too, even though we just got alotta gen 4 stuff.

It’s so impressive how fast Austin can pump information out so all of us can understand 😅
Austin, I love how excited you got for making a spreadsheet.
Could you maybe add some suggested Pokemon to use in the fight? Or maybe some type advantages to think about and potential ones to avoid?
For example, Alolan ninetails would be good against dragon terra type knowing ice and fairy moves but will likely get toasted by Charizard as I would assume Charizard is going to know at least 1 fire move.
a better option could be Azumaril as it can learn Ice and Fairy moves? Or will everyone be bringing the box legendaries a was the case for zacian/zamazenta making probably more work for yourself with little use. Personally I would watch videos with recommendations on who to use, particularly if there was a good paldean option as I enjoy trying new pokemon out.
Also, if you are going to continue to use a straight +/- for UK times - it gets weird when daylight savings changes. I think UK and US dates have different times when it changes. Just one to bear in mind.

Can’t wait to take on a Dragon Charizard, (my favourite Pokémon), with my mono-Fire team. Hopefully I can get a Terra fairy type somewhere. Although, when I bring over my Ace Charizard from Home, I think I’ll keep it Tera Fire. I like the idea of a Solar Power boosted, Choice Scarfed Charizard spamming Flamethrower. That’s going to do a LOT of damage. Might make it Choice Scarf for extra power, but I think I want the speed.
