Lol, it’s always something. A few years ago when I was racing out in the desert it was 114 degrees fahrenheit and I had a 3d printed cup holder melt in my miata. Yes it was just pla, but I was not expecting it to just fully glass transition to goop, It was like silly putty. I left it on the ground in my pit and it was a puddle when I came back in.
how do the ganadore mirror adaptors hold up in heat? im in australia so it gets to 40+ for weeks in summer, saw a facebook post where a guy that got yours started warping.
I haven't bought a roll of PLA in probably 5 years lol. This was just printed really thin with no infill and being the dark gray color straight in the sun it melted
@@DingDongDrift Oh, then it must hav gotten really hot. wow... I have not yet seen PETG deform like that under normal circumstances. Overall great project.

Yea PLA is basically useless outside of air conditioning
79% now. Nice work
Print it in white so it doesn't retain so much Heat.
The paint being white will have that same effect
I can't believe you still get voice cracks 😂
Puberty's been tough on me these past 15 years

I have not heard of any issues from anyone in 3 years that I've been making them? Where did you see a post like that?
what filiment type did you use ?
I assume you print with PLA - Ever considered using PETG? PETG withstands the summer days just fine.
