Love your work. It's unique! I've been wanting to buy a 3d scanner but the laser ones are so expensive. You've got a new sub!
@@phingly2151 you don't need a laser scanner just get an einstar
Looks so good. The various Lexus' elements are blended so well together. It is indeed too low but, your car, your choice.
@@gafrers thank you, i tried very hard to make it cohesive. It being too low isn't really an issue when i remake it out of carbon kevlar. I can cut it shorter on the bottom if i want to or just let it drag. The carbon kevlar will be able to handle it
@@DingDongDrift An Amazing Job. True Quality. Yes, Carbon-Aramid can cope with a LOT. Looking forward to more progress and videos
@@gafrers there's definitely A LOT more coming!
Dude you are so unbelievably creative it’s so cool watching you make random shit. Keep up the great work!
@@FieroKyle thank you!
Need a bash bar for the bumper
@@ZeLitruu I'll do a tube frame front and rear once the body is kevlar
Freakin love how much this thing is evolving
As for the mounting brackets you could make a custom bash bar to protect all your front end cooling systems and stiffen up the bumper
Greatest ending of a RUclips video ever hands down
Love to see how you pull aspects from different models and combine them all together into something original and awesome. Love watching the progress and design process 🤝
Thanks so much!
I'll say this. I don't like the new lexus design motif, but you did an awesome job with the craftsmanship and skill set that you have in making the bumper for this. Respect. Keep up the good work.
Great work Dude 🎉
I just want to redo the bottom half of the front bumper and probably a lot more stuff on my Dodge Neon r/t man this is so inspiring. Thank you. I subscribed🎉🤙🙏🇺🇲💯💪
Looks awesome, such a massive improvement over the original SC design. Appreciate the time and effort you have put into this.
My friend showed me this, dope stuff definitely gonna look into making something like this👀👀👀
special night dunk tank dry you've known the man to call upon
edit of the year is up for grabs
this is great, i had thought of this for myself too sometime ago but i still dont own a 3d printer, my suggestion for this is to not use the bumper you made or any 3d printed part, use them as a plug for fiberglass instead, more roadworthy resistance wise, like use some wax on the bumper cover iot in fiberglass, like 2 layers, and demold and wax the inside of the fiberglass and fiberglass that and once you demold you will have a perfect copy of your bumper in glass fiber, easy enough but has the cost of the materials which is not insane by any means
Very impressive project. I hope to be able to do something similar in the near future. The thickness of the new prints is for sure much better for stability. The only thing I would say is that for small FWD cars, there's a lot less room behind the bumper for things like the intercooler and crash bar, so the thickness of the bumper will have an influence on the fit.
5th Video in a row. This project is blowing my mind... So cool!!
My mom's in her 70's, if that's your thing. lol I don't kink shame. Also, the styling on the bumpere is dope. Looks so factory-late model Lexus. Really modernizes the whole look of the SC.
@@jayinmi3706 different strokes for different folks eh? Modernizing the SC was the plan!
enjoyed the vid, rkelly at the end was hilarious lmao
i love your videos and i also do 3d engineering for body kits too. so i totally understand how hard it is to what you do .
Badass dude!!! It's looking fresh!
I've just discovered your channel, your use of scanning and printing is excellent. I'll go back and watch more of the Lexua build.
just make or grab those longer front splitter to bumper attachments and mount to metal in the bay, I did this when I gutted the old broken clips on my celica. Helps a lot with it holding it's general shape in place. sick bumper, looks awesome. always stoked to see something new 🖤💜🖤
Cool. It did give a car whole different look! Looking forward for more updates on this car. Awesome!
This looks so good! The current style of Lexus’ front end design fits the SC so well. Makes me wish they remade the SC300/400 again with this design in mind and continuing off of the last gen JZ31 chassis.
I love the innovation of this whole project and how informative it is

My man!!! I’ve been printing for 3 years now and I’ve always wondered if I could make my own fender flares or lips for my 2011 Honda CrZ and this right here I just came across and I’m definitely thinking about designing my own parts for my car I gotta ask what materials did you use and what infill % did you use

i'll make a mold, not to sell them though
ive designed the same thing on onshape but im saving for a really big 3d printer because i think printing in pieces is too time consuming id rather print in 3 or 4 peices because i do want a complete bodykit for my scs and the rest of my lexuses or lexia lol
@@user-de6ft7kc8k a bigger printer prints slower, the print time turns out to be almost the same
oh hey, sick! youtube finally decided to sent me your way!
Bumper looks insane! love the new low look!
However I am curious... Would you be willing to scan a jzx100 mark ii by chance? Currently working on a game model off another scan, but that car appears to have been through hell and back, and possibly up bihoku at some point, or a ditch (as in its completely twisted).
Its also missing a lot of stock parts, such as the lower half of the rear quarter (has a Traum replica bodykit on it), stock rearbumper, stock sideskirts, etc...
Just only if youre keen actually! Love your work, love the designs you come up with and how you wanna bring your SC into the current day and age, design wise!
Are you in Chicago?
this is really neat!
I made a replica of Ken Blocks Ford Focus RS RX using a similar technique (videos on my channel). I used Autodesk 3DS Max (I see you used Autodesk Maya), and I used a CNC machine instead of a 3D printer.
I used to LOVE Autodesk Maya (used it for 10+ years as a hobbyist), then I switched to 3DS max 7 years ago. I feel that 3DS Max has much finer dimensional control (accuracy down to 0.001mm).
I used a CNC machine over my 3D printer because CNC machines are 10x+ faster at cutting VS a 3D printer adding layers of plastic.
Awesome project! I'll have to watch your other videos on this.
This is a video of how I made the body kit:
ruclips.net/video/lYk4-wxRCqw/видео.html
This was my last video of attaching the Focus RS RX body kit:
ruclips.net/video/8ud11DyDQY8/видео.html
@@PS_on_youtube hell yeah dude! That's awesome! Honestly if i had a CNC machine i would love to cut foam, it would be way faster. I use 3ds max at work and honestly hate the UI lol. It's so old and cumbersome, i prefer Maya for that reason.

Were you planning on doing any aero work for the front radiator? Like a front duct that exhausts air out of the top of the hood. I know functionally it probably wouldn't add much to a drift car but you definitely have enough room now with the new bumper.

@@stevehaulsforyou1286 PETG, 7 rolls, link in description for the exact filament i use
Bro, @14:32 that fiberglass is likely going to separate.
I'm the future, spray a 2part epoxy primer on it, then lay the fiberglass using epoxy resin and it will be solid as fffff
@@vi23100 why would it separate? It's been holding up fine on my widebody for a year.
@DingDongDrift Polyester resin doesn't bond well to plastic, especially when the sun hears it and both materials start expanding and contracting at different rates.
But....if it's stood the test of time then good for you
