  • Thought I was going to have to return this, but ended up figuring out the issue thanks to Reddit, and definitely no thanks to GEPRC support...
    The cable that fixed the issue:

    (make sure to pick the "BetaFPV toothpick" option)

    Manufacturers like GepRC will de-pin the sbus connections cause they are not being used with external receivers like crossfire or elrs but will need to be used if you are using the 03 air unit as your receiver link. They should just leave those connections for sbus on the harnesses so that beginners can use the dji controller v2 as well.

    Thank you so much for this video. I have exactly the same problem, I have the 4 cable instead of the 6 ones. I will try to set it up with my express ERLS controller before ordering the proper cable for my O3 unit and flight with my dji controller2.

    Thank you for putting this video together. I just got my CineLog 20 today and was having the same issues. Cable ordered.

    This video helped me a lot. I was about to take my ELRS off also but i noticed a VERY VERY small button under the smoke guard of the ELRS board. I held it down a few seconds and the blue light started to flash quickly. I guess it was now in bind mode. But that cleared they way for my 03 signal to come through. Problem solved. But I will say, my harness had the correct amount of wires. Also, thanks for mentioning the S-Baud fast in the goggles to be set to normal. I never would had gotten that one.

      I just got my cinelog 20 today and only have 4 wires. Glad you got lucky with 6 wires because my ELRS board is constantly blinking.

    Bro good video thanks. And that’s my biggest fear about ordering that drone because like you said they don’t have the pnp for o3 system thanks a lot

    Hey great video 💪 are your engines running backwards? If so, how do you arrange the propellers? My cinelog is ready, it runs smoothly but just doesn't want to take off.

      I just have the everything running the way it came out of the box. Once I fixed the receiver issue everything worked perfectly fine with no other modifications. Hope you get it figured out!

    Hey, thanks for the video. I would never have thought of that - but I'm also completely new to the game. What exactly does "BetaFPV Toothpick F4 AIO FC" mean? Since I'm not from the USA and want to save on expensive shipping costs, I've been looking for alternatives. But on the internet I can only find the "DJI FPV - Air Unit 3-in-1 Cable (Part 10)" without any further offers of specifications. Should it also work with this cable?

    • @4863media
      @4863media  7 месяцев назад

      I'm not an expert, but that cable doesn't look quite right to me. The "Beta FPV Toothpick" is a type of flight controller that uses a certain type of connector, I think...this is what I'm referring to, so whatever you order should look like this:

    I have a mobula 8 with elrs and im trying to use the dji controller.
    I switched to sbus and the controller is showing to work correctly in betaflight and v2 goggles.
    But the motors wont spin when i arm it. I have no idea what to try next. Im so lost. 😪

    I had the same exact issue, so the solution is to change the cable ?

    • @4863media
      @4863media  Год назад

      If the cable just has four wires, then just swapping it out should work, as I think you can configure betaflight so it just ignores the external receiver. If I had to do it again, I would try swapping the cable *before* disconnecting the ELRS receiver, just in case you need to return it.

      @@FPView1-sk9os under the “receiver” tab, make sure you have “receiver mode” set to “serial via uart” (which it likely is already) and then the “serial receiver provider” set to “SBUS.” Mine was set to “CRSF” when it came, so switching to SBUS was the most important change in Betaflight.

    Hey man, I had the rc connected to my cinelog35 v2 and could see the inputs in betaflight only once.
    Since then I couldn't bring the setup back.
    I tried rebinding, fast_sbus in goggles and same in the drone
    Everything is the same like your drone. But I didn't removed the antenna you cut. I'm a bit afraid.
    Do you think it's still the Antena?

      I’m not sure, but I think if the O3 is connected with the correct cable and the settings in Betaflight are correct, the flight controller should ignore the other receiver and you shouldn’t need to cut it. Is the serial receiver set to SBUS in the Receiver tab of Betaflight and the UARTs set correctly for SBUS in the Ports tab?

    • @theo_4m
      @theo_4m Год назад

      @@4863media yes, sbus is set in the goggles, receiver tab and also written in the cmd tab
      GPS is working, gyro is working, there is sth not working with the communication between fc and o3 (idk if Hardware or software is the problem)
      In betaflight in the ports tab there is uart1, uart2,.. Etc
      Is that the input? On the fc the antenna is put on t2, is that Port uart2? Cuz in bf uart2 is set for the receiver...
