- I'm this video I wanted to talk about my insecurity dealing with height. I was always taller than my peers during middle school but when highschool hit I realized there so many people my height and some of my friends I was tallerr than are taller than me now. And it really got to me, but now I want to embrace my height and accept my height and yes I'm still growing and getting taller day by day and I think I'll stop growing at 6'3 so I'm pretty optimistic!

Your not the only one I was 5’11 in high school while my friend was still growing. They grow to 6’2 and above while my growth plate fused at the age of 13 and that was before high school.
Damn I might be in the same situation but I recently been growing so idk hopefully I can grow to 6'2 or 6'1

Yeah I definitely gotten over the whole height thing. I think it's only 1 part of who you are a person. Plus I'm at a good comfortable height so I can't complain.

I remember when I was 16 years old my height was 5 ft 7 but then I had a growth spurt and now I am 19 and 6 ft tall you said in this video that you are also 16 and already 5 ft 11 and this video is like 2 years old so that means you are 18 years old so how tall are you now

I am too. In high school 5'11" doesn't feel tall. And outside of that beyond, it feels even shorter.
Im 5’7 but you always add an inch or two so im really 5’9 and 9 rounds to 10 so im really 5’10 and my shoes add an inch so im actually 5’11 and everyone knows 5’11 is basically 6’0 but just saying 6’0 is weird so might as well say 6’1 but 1 is a prime number and thats weird so im really 6’2.
Ok but on a real note this was a nice video, i struggled with my height a little too at first but thankfully i got over it quickly. And besides ur still taller than most peeps, be thankful smh 🙄

Please tell me how you overcame this? Im in your exact situation. 5’11” but I feel so small. I see a lot of people taller than me everywhere and it hurts me so badly. I want so bad to be tall. And deep down I know Im tall and I should feel lucky but I cant help but feel insecure about my height. I’m currently turned 17 and I’m 5’6 and I only wish such height of yours because in the country I live in, the Philippines, which is a country of short people, 5’11 is already considered tall.

I relate with you bro I was amongst the tallest till 13 at 5'8 ish and I have only grown 2 inches since then and I am 16 now and a guy who used to be 4"11ish at 13 is now 6foot now shit doesn't feel good bruh. I thought I was gonna be able to be 6"3 max but tbf I was extremely unathletic

I use to think i stopped growing when i was 15.5, I was 177cm for so long. Then i gave up and decided to measure myself 2 weeks ago for the first time in 8 months and i'm 180cm at 16 and im pretty sure im still growing aswell

I'm only 5'8 which is pretty small for me considering of how tall my parents and how I weigh over 170. Also, I am only 19, so I might not grow more which absolutely sucks. I do have things that make me more unique than being tall, but being tall would have been a good bonus. I don't like being shorter than people younger than me by like 2-3 inches. It's awkward especially when it is a girl.
Damn, well it’s good that you have other qualities that make you unique! Height is important but it’s not the be all end all! There are more factors like (money,status,fitness level, community/network) that can make life and dating easier!
@shanodd Well, one of the rarest things about me is being ambidextrous apperantely because most people are righty, but I'm neither a lefty or a righty myself. I could also run over 20 mph. Also, I wear 11/5 shoes, which is pretty big for my height. I still dream about being tall sometimes because I feel like it matters to me when I am around people in public. I've been jealous of other men for being more normal and being more attractive than me. I try not to let it get the best of me because too much jealously will lead me to depression again.
@@KixVux true jealously is a poison, the best thing to do is to accept it and embrace it! And focus on the things you can control, for example your weight! Are you in shape?
@shanodd Yeah, I am because I do have more muscle than body fat. My stamina could last for a long time if I don't keep running too fast. Also, people have a hard time keeping up with me when it comes to my running speed.

Here's the thing man most woman don't know what a true 5' 11" or 6' 0" even looks like. Most people men and women either lie about their height or don't know how tall they really are or have this pre conceived concept on how tall they think they are. I'm not tall l'm a bit over 5' 9" and you have no idea how many dudes i've bumped into who think they are 6' 0 or taller but are really slightly taller then me or a few inches shorter then me. Think of it like this you only had a problem with your height when you got measured and found out you weren't 6' 1". You're a good height man over average in the US and comfortabley taller than 99% or woman.
When i went to the doctors they said i was 6 1 but with shoes on without it im 5 11 im 3/4

the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that i still have room to grow
Honestly after that video I just accepted my height and focused on other things like building a better physique and getting things ready once i'm out of highschool and i ended up growing at 6 foot at 17 and i'm probably going to end at 6'2. Just focus on other aspects of life you will reach your height don't worry to much
