4ourE That’s correct. It’s 2 tools in 1. Out of the box, you get all the features I show. Then, it’s a programming tool that you can use once your have purchased specific custom calibrations (BCM, HMI, etc)

I know your truck came factory with a rear slider, but it be nice if you could show us what is needed to install one in a truck that did not have one. I know that if the truck is an SLT or higher trim level and if it has a sunroof, it's almost plug and play. This seems to be very popular and would give you some great content.
Thank you for sharing this video. I do have a question, I have installed a light bar on my 2015 Z71 and the OEM light switch. I have wired the switch to the BCM but I’m guessing since they do not work my BCM needs to be programmed to recognize that the switch is plugged in? I have found trying to communicate with WAMS is frustrating it seems that they don’t want to deal with little projects like mine.
The video from Tinkering Fox on the ORL switch does disclose that some 2015 trucks will not have it's BCM programmed to enable that feature and think WAMS might be working on a solution to resume custom BCM programming. But don't know any more on that.

I do the modifications on my silverado bumper t fit on the dual exhaust tips from a 2019 silverado. On my 2015 looks pretty good. Better than the new ones. 👍
Phil i converted my truck from the little 4” screen to the 8” my link with the backup camera through MVI. If i install this, will it screw up their programming considering it did not come factory in my truck?
No. Your MVI Upgrade had to do with your HMI. Unless you're purchasing an HMI calibration, this device won't interfere with what you had done with MVI.
Hey Phil Gamboa, I just got this for my 18 to stop hyperflash and when I do the switch to the modified bcm calibration it flips back to stock right after. Do I need to stay on wifi while I switch to modified or is something wrong? (edit) got in contact with whiteautomedia and appearently my bcm download wasnt sent with anything because i have to go to bt dieselworks to build my own thing there appearently. once i figure it all out i’ll edit this comment again. (edit part 2) Got it figured out the options showed up on my btdiesleworks profile page I think i just have to go home for wifi to update it again
On that secure lock, if you disconnect the battery keep it for storage and then reconnected later would it still be locked? I like that as an added safety / security feature

Phil, does this tool eliminate the need for the load resistors for hyper-flashing of the turn signals? If it does, will the system go back to a hyper-flash when the tool is removed, and also if you disable the AFM will the tool still need to remain plugged in for the AFM to remain off? @@HuskieEd - It does, however, it is done by way of a custom BCM calibration file. The tool is then used to upload that customer calibration file. Sorry for the delayed response. So you would order the tool and the BCM calibration file.

r1mechanic - I use the smaller DL3 mirrors in my truck full time. Trailering mirrors were installed for the video installation purposes. My truck doesn’t look right with trailering mirrors (with its current setup) and I really don’t tow anything.

@@naldocl02 - So adding Heat/Cooled seats to a truck that doesn't have heat to begin with will have (or may have) more wiring requirements. If you have factory heat now, the heated/cooled seat harness I have is for those that already have heat and wanting to gain cool.

Speed Trapp 219 D - Since I’m not much of a performance guy, I can’t comment on the performance side of things. I got this for the other features I really liked. Also, there is an OBD-II splitter you can get so you can use more than one device at the same time.

Read the instructions man. Have to create an account through BTDiesel Works and then once an authorized user from BTDiesel Works verifies you have AutoSync. Then follow the instructions to finish the process. Then everything you order for your AutoSync should upload.
Jesus email BTDIESEL Works actually. They responded saying my WIFI wasn’t strong enough to upload the firmware that I individually purchase. Once u can get in contact with them they will respond telling you what u need to do. I hope this help.
I just sent this feedback off... The reason it doesn't show in this video is because my truck is gas :) But it does for Diesel. There are features that will only show if you are diesel. Hope this helps.

@@MountainMcCumbee No warranty issues. You'd want to see all of the standard features on our website (and there are a lot!) but we're confident the majority will likely find its worth the extra $149 over just an AFM eliminator style device.

It has to stay plugged in? That's stupid, If that company is so great they should be able to flash your BCM/HMI wIth that stuff in it. Vehicles only have 1 0BD port, you wanna put out something impressive, have it not use up that port

I doubt it. Usually, with a body change, many parts are not interchangeable.

So do u want afm set to enabled or disabled? Doesn't seem to matter on mine v4 still engages.
If you want it "off" so always in V8, you set AFM to disabled... is my understanding.

Yes. There are features you can use right out of the box. Programming options are separate licenses you purchase based on the needs.

Jo mama - Yes. You might have the ability to upgrade your hardware to hardware that has factory NAV w/out onstar.

Many of the options are programmed to your modules.
You only need it plugged in to access the menu and other features.
