Great video. Not many useful videos for the new S1 right now. Yours is very informative and straight to the point. Looking forward to more. I just bought the S1 with all the accessories. Going to try shot glasses and pint glasses. This video helps!
Thanks, I would like the riser base and rotary attachment to see how that works. The Glass turned out well, so have to try more in the future, but, I have about 10 videos to get finished first. JR
tbh because of my previous comment I didnt know what that clear thing in the material pack was, I thought maybe plastic or acrilic lol, interesting to know its glass!
Bonjour je viens d’acheter le s1 40 watt , Je voulais savoir si je prend le module laser 10watt en option , La qualité de gravure et mieux en 40watt ou en 10 watt sur l acier inoxydable etc..
i'm just about to buy the 40w xTool S1 with rotation tool and 2w laser. I am eyeing one on Amazon. how are you liking yours? i would like to etch steel and glass, and cut thin wood, is this machine very capable?
I just added a sheet of black paper behind it. There were 2 peices of circle of glass supplied with the machine. The test part was from my green house. Would like to get the rotory attachment to engrave some real glasses. Thanks. JR
@@PaulNelson66 The guy behind the JSR Design videos has a great talent to balance videography, editing and the content as a story to tell, most of the time without commentary. The XTOOL S1 unboxing video features his voice, just one sentence, reacting to the previously opened plastic wrapping. He uses the onscreen comments to replace his voice really well. You should have the same experience with or without sound 🙂
@@PaulNelson66 Thank you for your comments, I am new to creating videos and not confident being on camera yet or talking. I only adding text to exaplain what im doing or my thoughts as im editing the video. My wife suggested I add background music. Im happy to explain any parts in more detail if you have any questions. Thanks John
Great video.... Just the information I need... Thank you.

I didnt know u could engrave on glass! I thought it would break instantly haha but I guess I was wrong! I might try this one day!

I didn't know you could engrave glass with the S1. Is this a sheet of aluminum foil or paper under the glass? Looks good!

Please can you add cc on so I can understand as I’m deaf many thanks 😊
Excellent work by the way!
@@PaulNelson66 There's no voice over on these videos, just the embedded text with instrumental music.

Add some black tempera paint and test the glass again.
Thanks, I’ll try that next time, JR
@@JSR_Design 😁 I gotta do the same testing with the S1. Finishing a lumber rack now. Keep sharing, Brotha. Your doing great!
Just use Isopropyl or rubbing alcohol. Its cheaper than hand sanitizer and it's the part thats actually cleaning.
Thanks, I had this bottle left over from years ago.
Buenas tardes
Hello, thanks for watching. JR
